Kratos, leaning against a rocky wall, watched as flames engulfed his legacy carrier. His bushy beard swayed alongside the powerful wind.
''Boy, focus on your strikes, and don't stop. No matter what you do... don't stop attacking.''
King Arawn stepped forth, his momentum increasing by the moment. At that moment, he heard Kratos' voice. Don't stop attacking, don't stop attacking, don't stop attacking.
''You threw your axe away... that's a bad move.'' Amour said, and held the handle of his axe in a firm grip. Even though the flaming Arawn's aura was unmatched, and something he'd never felt before, he still trusted in his own ability.
''RARGH!'' Arawn screamed, and threw a punch. His fist crashed against the crimson-bladed axe. The result was unexpected.
''?!'' Amour's eyes widened in shock as his veins ruptured, spewing blood everywhere. The axe fell from his grips, and landed on the ground. With one punch, Arawn broke his arms.
''I-Impossible!''
''RARGH!'' Arawn's fist flew across the air, and landed on Amour's gut.
''PUI!'' A burst of blood flew out of Amour's mouth as he was sent flying across the temple. As he crashed through the golden walls, he lifelessly lay on the ground. It looked like he was dead, as the blue blood stained the ground around him.
The audience covered their mouths with their hands. They looked shocked. A minute ago, it looked like Amour was sailing to victory. However, Arawn suddenly burst into flames, and caused the atmosphere to turn so heavy that it was even hard to breathe!
''No, son!'' In Grayhound Residence, Amon smashed his palm on the desk. The screen didn't show his son's bloody body, or that he was defeated. But, he knew that such attack couldn't be dealt without grave injuries.
Even though it happened inside the game, it didn't lessen his worries.
Arawn's relatives screamed with excitement. They were certain that he had achieved the long-awaited victory. After this day, there wouldn't be any more discussions about who was stronger, King Arawn or Lord Amour. Two men of different sides. Alpha, and Beta.
From today onward, everyone will say that King Arawn was the strongest!
''Ptu...'' Amour coughed blood as he tried to rise to his feet. His health bar was blinking red. With two punches, his HP reached 1.
Even though he was proud of his armour, and defensive abilities, in front of Arawn's punches, he was nothing. After finishing coughing up blood, he smiled in a self-mocking way. There were many instances when he nearly lost.
However, they had never beaten him so one-sidedly. He felt different emotions within him. A slight fear, excitement, and nervousness.
'Even if I use 'Power'... will I win?' And lastly, hesitation. He started hesitating whether he was strong enough to win, or would he fight for nothing, just to end up losing in a pathetic manner.
''Angh...'' Standing up, Amour leaned against the golden wall. Next to him was the hole that went through the wall. On the other side of the wall, the temple awaited, and there, Arawn.
''Father... I think I lost...'' As he voiced out his defeat, Amour's heart started beating. Everyone always said that he loved fighting because he always won. They would also say that if he wasn't strong, he wouldn't enjoy the game as much.
However, that wasn't the case. He wanted to win because he loved fighting. He didn't want to lose that feeling. The feeling of a rush, and adrenaline
Now, he was standing on the biggest fighting stage. Spectated by the whole world, and even higher beings. It was like he was born for this. From the moment he picked up his first weapon, it was for this moment.
''Amour... named after my father's love for my mother... My amour... sigh, I can't lose while being the result of their love.'' Amour wiped his blood, a golden glow reflecting off his eyes. He walked through the broken wall, and heard the shocked exclamations from the audience.
Everyone was shocked to see him still standing.
Swiping his hair back, Amour revealed his fatigued face. However, this was the first time in a long time when he didn't feel sleepy.
''Rargh!'' Arawn smashed his fist against his open palm, and started stomping towards him. As his feet landed on the golden ground, it felt like the whole universe was shaking.
''Go Arawn, defeat him!''
''Amour, dodge! His attacks are too strong!''
The Gods, and Goddesses leaned closer. For the first time since the tournament, everyone put all their effort into watching the match.
Reeling in his right fist, Arawn moved closer to Amour. As his shadow loomed over him, he finally unleashed his punch, clad in red flames.
Amour clenched his left fist, and punched straight towards the brick-sized fist that was clad in red flames. Everyone thought it was a suicide. The vivid image of his arms breaking still flickered in their minds.
Slowly, Amour's broken arms started healing. From the depths of his heart, and soul, a golden flow of power engulfed his entire being.
After seeing the golden glow, the Gods, and Goddesses all rose to their feet in shock. They couldn't believe it. The golden color that came from the heart, and soul would usually mean only one thing. That person was a god or goddess.
However, that shouldn't be possible. Amour wasn't God!
Somewhere in outer space, Gaia sat on her own tiny planet. Her beautiful eyelids fluttered open, and a heavenly smile appeared on her face.
''Bia, are you watching? Your son is showing that humans are amazing.''
In the arena...
The two fists collided. Crack. Within an instant, a loud crack resounded in everyone's ears. Everyone thought that it came from Amour. They sighed, thinking that it was suicide, and futile.
However, Gods, and Goddesses watched with disbelief.
''?!'' Arawn's rageful eyes calmed down as shock replaced his rage. His right fist shattered. Every fingerbone, joint, and even wrist shattered.
''H-How...'' After Arawn started staggering backward, everyone realized that something was up.
Amour clenched his right fist, and released a golden cross. After his fist landed on Arawn's face, his face shattered.
''PTU!'' Arawn's face got blown away. His headless body staggered side to side, back, and forth before falling on his back.
The whole world turned silent.
