The taxi driver silently drove to the only five-star hotel in District Ten. After parking his taxi in front of the massive building, cold sweat drenched his back while he felt the sharp gazes of the nearby pedestrians.
The pedestrians wore fancy dresses and suits while adorned with expensive jewelry.
"Thanks." Isaac paid the driver and left the taxi with Luna. They took their bags and walked toward the hotel. After entering the building through a fancy entrance, they went straight to the receptionist's desk.
There was a man with a straight back waiting for them with a professional smile. However, his eyes were scanning the two closely.
'No make-up, relies on her natural beauty.' He checked out Luna first, 'Her fashion is alright but doesn't seem to care much about it. Her pouch is expensive but not over-the-top, and her blouse is one month old…
'And… this young man looks familiar.' The professional man's eyes stopped after landing on Isaac's face. He felt like he had seen him before but couldn't remember where.
"One room," Isaac said as he placed his credit card on the desk.
"Alright, one night will be 5000$ for two."
Luna and Isaac didn't change their expressions as they paid for the room. They paid enough for two weeks' stay, which totaled in the end 70,000$.
The professional-looking man smiled and handed over their keys, "Thank you, and have a nice day."
"Thanks." Isaac accepted the key and left with Luna.
After they were gone from the lobby, the professional-looking man pulled out his phone and checked the news, 'I swear he looked familiar… maybe he is a celebrity.'
…
Isaac and Luna entered their luxurious hotel room with beautiful scenery. The windows showed the nightlife of District Ten, and it was a wonderful sight.
There was a large plasma TV mounted on the wall, a new-looking couch not far, and a big bed that could fit them easily.
Luna plopped down on the soft bed and heaved a sigh of relief, "Ah… Finally, I can rest…'
"Well, not quite." Isaac caressed her cheek while putting away the bag.
Luna sat up with a serious look. They had to discuss the plan.
After storing the bag away, Isaac returned to the bed with a notebook. He flipped open the pages and showed Luna the 20th page.
Luna slowly read it through and nodded.
"Alright, the plan is quite simple." Isaac closed the notebook and said, "We will wait for the Chain Breaker to do something, which will most likely end in a big incident.
"We will have to bid time until the Sword of Myth arrives. That's why you will control the damage as well as you can.
"And once the member from Sword of Myth arrives, you will continue limiting the damage, and hopefully, no one will get injured."
"Then what?" Luna asks, "They will end in a fight, but wasn't the goal to not look like vigilantes?"
"Yes." Isaac nodded, "While you secure the citizens, I will steer the public's opinion to our side. Hopefully, that member from Sword of Myth is so drunken in his power that he won't notice our ploy."
"Alright." Luna nodded and still felt like there were way too many things that could go wrong.
"No need to worry." Isaac lay down on the bed with hands behind his head, "You don't need to know all the tiny details yet."
"Alright…" Luna lay next to him and asked, "It will happen a week later. What should we do during that time?"
"Let's tour the city?" Isaac suggested with a shrug, "We need to check the area where the incident was going to happen."
"Yes!" Luna cheered up with a sweet smile painted on her face.
"Do you still remember the image that the spell showed you?" Isaac asked.
"Yes." Luna remembered those fractions of memories, "I think I saw one of the buildings that were in that memory. There were skyscrapers, and the taxi driver said that only District Ten has them."
"So, the attack is going to happen here." Isaac nodded with a thoughtful expression, 'Is the Rogue Chain Breaker member from a wealthy family? That would be new…
'Usually, the wealthy families have their family members on a tight leash and have taught them to control their abilities.'
"I am going to play for tonight. Are you coming?" Luna asked while taking out his VR Helmet.
"No, I need to make a call," Isaac said while showing his cell phone.
"Alright!" Luna placed the helmet around her face and tapped the button. Soon, the skinsuit covered her body, and she entered the World of White.
Isaac jumped to his feet and left the room. Then, he pulled out his cell phone and dialed a number.
The phone rang for a moment before it was connected.
"Hello." Isaac leaned against the hallway wall and heard soft breathing coming from the other side of the line.
"Hello." The voice was deep.
"Are your men ready?" Isaac asked while scratching his elbow.
"Yes, why?"
"I am in Happylaugh, and this is where it will happen."
"You are where?!" The voice screeched, "Return to Snowstar, please!"
"I have a plan." Isaac tried to calm down the person, "Have some faith."
"Sigh… What is it?"
"It involves Chain Breaker, Sword of Myth, and News Station."
"You can't be… thinking about doing that?!"
"Yes, and I will do it."
"It will be risky, and making All-America your enemy is not wise." The voice sounded worried for a moment.
"I will be fine, but he will definitely come here." Isaac turned his head left and right. The hallway was empty.
"He will definitely go there."
"Yes, but have you found out who the Sword of Myth member is?" Isaac asked, and it was one of the most important questions.
"Yes… I have received reports of All-In-One appearing in Happylaugh's Airport."
"Hahaha!" Isaac surprisingly laughed, "Perfect. Now, the chance of succeeding rose from 50% to 90%."
"Hah…" The voice was also amused, "Indeed… That battle junkie will ruin the Sword of Myth's reputation."
"I will handle it, and just keep your men ready. Sword of Myth's reputation will sink to the sewers, and all Rogue Chain Breakers think this will be their chance to rise.
"But, then you guys appear and handle it better than Sword of Myth in every way."
"I will keep them on standby…" The voice turned silent before continuing, "Be safe."
"Always." Isaac then disconnected the call and took a deep breath, "Haahh…"
