White Onlinechapter 405: lsaac's bid.

"The starting bid is 500,000!" The auctioneer shouted. This low starting bid was the result of a number of important factors. The idea was to start low and let players engage in a bidding war, which would easily drive the price past the estimation.

Unfortunately, one individual threw a wrench into things.

"600,000!" Lynch shouted and turned to face the crowd, "Whoever bids against me is officially enemy of Guild Monarch!"

A silence fell over the players who were about to bid. Gritting their teeth, they lowered their heads and averted their gazes in disgust.

The auctioneer became furious, "Young one, you cannot use your status to threaten others!"

"Otherwise, you will be officially banned from our establishment!"

"Oh, sorry then," Lynch replied with a wave of his hand. Yet, despite this, he still stared at the players with an insatiable grin wrapping around his face.

All the players gulped hard. They didn't want to make Lynch their enemy.

The auctioneer gritted his teeth. In the auction house that was heavily favored by the Royal Family, it surprised him that anyone would use his status so aggressively to threaten others.

However, since no one dared to wager against Lynch, he had to declare him the winner.

"Going once, twice, sold." He nodded to the beautiful woman as she returned the sword to the backstage area.

"Heh, here." Lynch handed his butler a pouch of coins, who went to fetch the sword.

After a short time, he returned with the sword and scabbard. Lynch held it up, traced a finger along with its scabbard, and was stunned by the craftsmanship.

He then unsheathed the sword to find a reflection of himself on the blade.

With the sword unsheathed, every player felt a level of pressure they had never experienced before. A full-fledged display of the incredible might of the legendary sword was on display.

Sword of Kyle was infamous for its ability to take away the light of hope from its enemies. Once this was unleashed upon his enemies, they would be overwhelmed with despair as their lives were being ripped apart before their very eyes.

"Excellent sword!" Lynch sheathed the sword and tossed it into his inventory. He felt very pleased with this purchase as it was the first item since the beginning of the auction that he had felt pleased with.

The 51st item was then revealed on stage. The auctioneer was about to describe the item after it was rolled to center stage. Lynch, however, beat him to it.

''500,000!" Lynch prodded his palm with his chin and grinned when he observed the auctioneer's enraged expression.

"How much money he has?!" The players exclaimed.

"So cool..." Some female players sighed with their gazes heavy with love.

The auction continued with Lynch's winning spree. The other bidders were terrified of going up against him.

As time passed, the auctioneer grew increasingly frustrated. The auction house started losing a lot of money after several items were sold for far less than the estimated value.

Then, it was time for the 56th item.

A bottle containing green liquid was in the middle of the cart.

The liquid appeared quite oily, and a pleasant smell emanated from it as it soaked into the cork.

"Hmm, what is this?" Lynch leaner closer and exclaimed, "What a delicious scent!"

The players closed their eyes and sighed with pleasant looks. This was immediately perceived to be a perfume of some kind.

Honey and roses carried the scent in addition to wintergreen, cherry, and apple wood. When the scents were combined, they smelt very strong and comforting.

"Honey, please buy this for me!" A dark-haired player sighed as his girlfriend tightly hugged him, with the aim of clinging onto him until he agreed to buy the item.

"I will try…" The player replied and received a kiss on the cheek from his girlfriend. A heavy sigh was heard as he glanced at his white coins. 78,800 was all he had, and he didn't think that was enough.

Still, his girlfriend was in a state of mind that she would get it. After a long sigh, he decided that perhaps they should break up.

"This is Oil found in Dream Realm and one of the rarest items of today's catalog!"

"Dream Realm, what is that?" The players whispered with each other.

"I thought there was only Summer, Autumn, Spring, Winter, and God Realm?"

"I guess White Online was bigger than we thought…"

"The starting bid is 100,000!" The auctioneer shouted.

"Heh…" The dark-haired man slumped down on his chair. He wouldn't be able to make even one bet.

"Honey, why aren't you betting?!" His girlfriend screamed next to his ear.

Her blonde girlfriend had an almond-shaped head, a pair of round blue eyes, and rosy lips, and he sighed deeply as he looked at her. She was dressed in a red gown, and she had curvaceous, long legs.

"Maybe it's time for us to break up."

''WHAAAAAAAAT?!''

In the left seating area, Lynch stood up and raised his hand, "500,000!"

Immediately following the jump in the bid, the players swallowed their words. What a ridiculous amount for such a simple product!

"Heh." Lynch sat down and crossed his legs. The confidence in his voice was obvious.

As the players contemplated whether to bid, the auction hall fell silent. They thought the item would be extraordinary since it came from an unfamiliar realm.

The auctioneer narrowed his eyes, 'If no one bids for this either… Might as well stop the auction early before the more expensive items are sold for…'

'With this bastard here, I can't sell anything above estimated…'

Then, one player stood up from the center seating area with a pale face, "6-600,000!"

"Eh?" Lynch stared at the player with a critical eye.

The players exclaimed that someone had the audacity to bid against Lynch, the young master of Guild Monarch!

The player timidly sat back down, 'N-Now I have done it… B-But, I can feel it… This item is extraordinary, and maybe it can take me out of my state of ordinary!'

"Wow, look at him. Tough guy, eh?" Lynch guffawed in a threatening manner before he stood up once more, "700,000!"

The timid player's eyes widened in surprise, 'Why is he bidding so much? Is he doing this out of spite?!'

The amount was already more than he could afford.

Lynch looked at him like he was an ant, then sat down.

The auctioneer sighed and opened his mouth, "Going once… Going twice…"

"So—"

"One million!" A single voice silenced the auctioneer and everyone else.

Lynch turned his head in the direction of the masked man with stone gray eyes and took a glance at him.

As Isaac turned his stone gray gaze toward Lynch, he stood up, exhibiting great strength. An immense pressure hung over the entire hall as two eyes clashed.
