Creak…
''Let's see.'' Isaac dragged a wooden stool behind him and placed it underneath the crystal. Then, he stepped up and stood on the wooden stool, trying to take the crystal into his grasp.
The crystal was draped over by some kind of wool. It was in the color of ugly color, and the texture seemed very thin. Isaac carefully moved the fiber out of the way, afraid he might accidentally rip it in half.
After the wool was moved out of the way, he could see the dark yellow crystal. It wasn't as bright as the ones he'd seen in Summer Realm.
Then, he placed his hands on the crystal and slowly removed it from the ceiling.
Clank!
Isaac flinched after hearing some unnatural sound that he wasn't expecting to hear. He saw that the crystal was removed and had a bad feeling.
Instantly, he moved it closer to take a good look. First, he checked for any cracks, but there weren't any. Soon, he found out that the crystal was intact. However, the ceiling had a tiny crack.
It seemed that the crystal was quite tightly stuck in the ceiling. Isaac thought that the crystal was indeed quite durable.
Then, he stepped out of the wooden stool and sat down on his bed. He began examining the crystal because he was pretty fascinated by them.
At first, he could see some dim light coming from the center of the crystal that gave it a yellowish hue. However, it was tough to see what it was.
The crystal itself was very musky and dirty. He was surprised that the yellowish light could lighten up the room that well, even if only a tiny percent of the light managed to seep through.
After examining for another ten minutes. Isaac perked up his ears and looked toward the opposite side of the room, at the wall painted ugly yellow.
Crack!
Out of nowhere, the wall cracked, and Isaac's eyes slowly widened in shock. Then, the wall fell apart, and two figures crashed through. They seemed to be trading punches while rolling on the ground.
They were dressed in robes with disheveled hair. Both of them looked identical, with short black hair and gray eyes. Their facial features were similar, with a short nose, round eyes, and sharp brows.
''Shut up!'' One shouted and sent a punch squarely at the man's cheek.
''Grr, no, you!'' The one who got hit shouted back at him and sent an uppercut from an awkward angle.
Isaac quickly hid the crystal underneath the blanket and stood up from the bed. His hand was getting closer to his Inventory. If needed, he would take his gun and protect himself.
Soon, the two identical-looking men stopped fighting and patted the dust off their clothes. Then, they noticed where they were.
The player tags floated above them.
[Niki]
[Liki]
''Hmm?'' Niki frowned and saw a white-haired youth looking at them, ''Hmm, where are we?''
Liki whipped his head around and saw the destroyed wall. He sheepily scratched the back of his head and said, ''Oops.''
''Hmm?'' Then, Niki saw the destroyed wall, and his face changed shades. He turned around to face Isaac and gave a quick bow, ''Apologies.''
''Eh?'' Isaac wasn't expecting an apology. He waved his hand and said, ''No worries… Who are you two?''
''My name is Liki.'' Liki said while pointing at the other identical-looking man, ''This is my twin brother, Niki.''
''Ah.'' Isaac nodded.
''Shit…'' Niki said while looking at the destroyed wall. He was sure they had to pay for it, and it won't be cheap.
''I don't remember seeing you two in the battle,'' Isaac said while getting seated.
''We are from North Continent.'' Niki then said and continued, ''We have been here for quite some time.''
''Oh.'' Isaac nodded with understanding and had so many questions. This was the first time he met anyone from other Continents.
''Where are you from?'' Liki asked, and while scanning Isaac, he noticed his pale complexion and figured out where he was from but decided to ask anyway.
''South,'' Isaac replied. After getting to know each other slightly better. The twins said the reason for their fight was because of disagreement. One wanted to cross the forest from the north side, while the other wanted to from the west.
Apparently, to leave the village was indeed through the forest, but there were monsters in level 150. Both Niki and Liki were Level 105 and far from being strong enough. But, they thought about sneaking through.
After asking questions, they asked several from Isaac, and he replied with relative ease. The questions weren't hard ones. Only about the climate and the City where Isaac came from.
After asking questions, they left because they still had to figure out a plan to cross the forest. Then, Isaac took curtains from below the bed and covered the hole in the wall.
He returned to the bed and continued examining the crystal. After examining for another half an hour. He went to put the crystal back on the ceiling. It was a harder task than taking it out.
But, he used his ability Icy Shot to freeze the upper part of the crystal and the cracked ceiling.
After placing the crystal back, he logged out for the day.
…
After waking up in real life, Isaac sprung into his two feet, placed the headgear back on the box, and took it to the wardrobe.
Then, he pulled out his phone and messages Luna where she was. After receiving a reply that she was in Stronglord, she sent several other messages.
Apparently, everyone was excited about going to the second realm, making the Stronglord quite deserted from the player base. She was grinding XP until the night time dawned and had to return.
Soon, they stopped talking because she was about to have dinner with her family. Then, Isaac pocketed the phone and went to the laptop.
The forums were bustling with activity, and many were about the South Continent managing to defeat the Avatar.
However, there was still a lot of negativity in the comments section. Isaac ignored them all and closed the laptop.
After going to bed, planning to sleep early, he thought about tomorrow and decided to visit a certain someone.
