In the streets of Stronglord, a beautiful young woman with long black hair and blue eyes was walking with a clear destination in her mind. Her looks attracted from both NPC's and Players; most of them only looked with admiration, while some braver ones wanted to hit up a conversation.
But, after she saw individuals approaching her, she quickened her steps until she was almost running away.
The Players who saw it looked dejected but didn't pursue any further; if she didn't want to talk, it would be idiotic to force it.
Without choice left, they stopped pursuing her and instead decided to admire her beauty from afar.
After running hundreds of meters in the busy streets, she came to a stop with an exhausted look.
''So scary...'' Luna muttered with her heart racing. She patted her chest a couple of times to regain her breath and could finally see where she was.
Currently, she was in a busy part of the City, Market Square.
It was one of the busiest parts in the entire Stronglord, and it clearly showed.
Everywhere she looked, there was a swarm of Players and NPC's alike, making it impossible to even see one meter ahead!
It was quite a common sight to see arguments, because someone accidentally collided with someone.
Luna timidly stood on the sidelines, trying to find a way out. Her outfit was definitely different from an ordinary spellcaster; she was wearing an all-black outfit, which looked actually very lovely on her and made her attractiveness even more apparent.
There was also a pointy hat strapped on her waist, and for some reason, she wasn't wearing it and didn't put it in the Inventory either.
There was also something strapped on the pointy hat. It was a small wooden stick, which looked like a wand.
The wand was of silver color with shades of black on the sides, looking very pretty and awe-inspiring.
Her looks did look quite unique, but it wasn't an unordinary sight for a Player trying to look different from the rest; that's why no one thought more about it.
But, this young lady has a very special identity.
She is perhaps White Online's first Godly Legacy holder!
If Players knew around her. They would be trying to court her like their lives depended on it, or at least become her friends, but in some cases... Some would be trying to kill her out of jealousy.
''Excuse me, need help?'' Luna flinched and anxiously looked behind her, only to see two elderly figures looking at her with worried looks.
''Oh my.'' An old woman with grey hair and a gentle smile said while covering her mouth, ''You seem pale, are you feeling ill?''
The old woman seemed somewhat old but didn't have any signs of wrinkles on her surprisingly attractive face.
''A-Ah, n-no.'' Luna shyly replied and glanced at the crowd of people, ''I-I am not good with people.''
''Ah.'' The old woman exclaimed and smiled gently, ''Come in, it is better than staying on outside.''
Luna looked at the building, and it was an ordinary wooden building with two floors and a sign on top of the building.
It was a store that sells antique items, which is rarely visited by Players because they are all into getting better weapons and armory.
''Ah... T-Thank you.'' Luna bowed and entered the building.
''A tea?'' The old woman asked while trying to resist pinching Luna's cheeks, which seemed very soft and pinchable.
''A-Ah, yes, thank you!'' Luna bowed once more.
''No need to bow.'' A figure next to the old woman said gently. He had a short black hair and a muscular build; at first, his looks made Luna intimidated, but seeing his gentle look, her wariness shortly disappeared.
He had some signs of grey hair on the sides, and he wouldn't be mistaken as elderly, but he still looked attractive, which is quite of a feat for a man of his age.
Luna was led to a seat, and she gratefully sat down, waiting for the tea to arrive, but during that time, she was looking around the shop and saw all kinds of items she had never seen before.
Soon, she saw a painting on the wall, which was obviously painted not long ago. It was a picture of the two elderly figures and a man, who was around his 20s.
The man had brown hair and a smile on his attractive face. He resembled the two elderly figures quite a lot, and it made Luna certain that he was their son.
The old man was cleaning the front desk and saw Luna looking at the painting. His gaze got also locked onto the painting and a split second pain appeared in his eyes until he humphed and turned his gaze away.
''Hmph, hmph.'' He humphed two more times.
Luna turned her gaze towards the old man and saw the weird scene of him humphing with obvious annoyance on his face.
''E-Excuse me.'' Luna raised her hand like she was in school and wanted to ask a question from the teacher.
The old man flinched and turned around to see Luna raising her hand, ''Y-Yes?'' He was curious why she was raising her head.
Luna lowered her hand and asked, ''Is that your son in the painting?''
''Tsk.'' The old man clicked his tongue and had a look of longing, even though he was trying to hide it, ''Yes... He is gone, though.''
''Oh...'' Luna's face turned saddened because she thought he meant that their son was dead.
''Ah, he isn't dead.'' The old man quickly waved his hand after seeing Luna having a misunderstanding.
''Oh!'' Luna immediately looked energetic and happier.
''We haven't met in a long time...'' The old man sighed, but then he stomped the ground, ''I don't want to meet him, hmph!''
Luna smiled slightly at the weird sight and almost let out a laughter, but then the old lady came with a tray, which had three glasses of tea.
After she saw her husband throwing a tantrum, she shook her head and wryly smiled, ''Here.'' She put down the tray and sat on the opposite side of the table.
''Thanks.'' Luna said with gratitude and took a sip of the tea, and instantly felt amazed, ''D-Delicious!''
''Hehe, thank you.'' The old lady said with a gentle smile and asked, ''What were you two talking about?''
''Ah, about your son,'' Luna replied.
''Ah...'' The old lady looked saddened at first, before becoming energetic once again, ''We might not be on speaking terms, but our grandson will be visiting us soon! Even though the grumpy old man there acts like he doesn't care, he expects the meeting as much as I am!'' She smugly looked towards the old man, who snorted and turned around.
''Ah, that's nice..'' Luna smiled and took another sip of the tea.
