Shin stomped his feet.

The next moment, with a resounding detonation, the dragon flew out of the ground and into the sky.

Shin fell back at blinding speed, and easily avoided the attack.

“If you can tell it is coming, then avoiding it is easy. If you can slip under it as it rises to the sky, you will reach the tree in no time.” (Shin)

In the blink of an eye, Shin had reached the tree.

“As for this, it depends on your capabilities.” (Shin)

Shin glared at the sky.

As the dragon twisted its body to glare back at him, it stopped flapping its wings.

A faint red line oozed out on the dragon’s neck. It was blood.

As if hanging down, the dragon’s head dropped, then it fell off, separated from its giant body.

“Attacking the dragons right as they come out of the ground would be wise.” (Shin)

As the dragon loudly fell to the ground, three others flew out of the ground, perhaps attracted by the tremor from just now.

“GROOOOAAAAAAAAAHHHH…!!” (Dragons x3)

This time, instead of soaring into the sky, the dragons glared menacingly at the students below.

“Khahaha! Did you get all that? Well then, it’s time to play tag with your lives on the line!” (Eldmed)

When Eldmed tossed his top hat, numerous Hourglasses of Conflagration fell out of it one after another, and floated in the air.

There were as many of them as there were students.

“Now off you go. And today’s class won’t be over until every one of you has made it to the tree.” (Eldmed)

Predictably enough, the Conflagration King’s words left the students paralyzed in fear.

“Seriously…?!” (Student boy A)

“And hold on, it’s totally impossible to do it like Shin-sensei…” (Student boy B)

“B-But in any case, we just have to run away and make it to that tree, right? And as long as we have those hourglasses, we’ll keep recovering…” (Student girl A)

“That’s what the teacher said, but… He also said we’d die if we got devoured…!” (Student boy C)

It appeared that they weren’t willing to make a decision.

“Hmm. I think I’ll go first.” (Anos)

“…Wait, there’s no need for you to go, is there?” Sasha said.

“It’s fine. There are just a few things I want to try.” (Anos)

After saying that, I casually walked to where the three dragons were lying in wait.

“Ah! Look, everyone! It looks like Anosh-sama is going!” (Fangirl A)

“Good luck, Anosh-sama!” (Fangirl B)

“Hurray for the boy genius!” (Fangirl C)

“Anosh-sama! Over here!” (Fangirl D)

I turned around and raised one hand to answer the cheers of the Fan Union girls.

Taking advantage of this opening, the dragon ahead of the others rushed forward while making the earth tremble, and swinging its claws vigorously.

“Ah! Anosh-sama, behind you!” (Fangirl A)

“GROOOAAAAHH…!!” (Dragon A)

When I gave it a glare, it stopped swinging them on the spot.

“Know your place, vermin.” (Anos)

At the exact same moment I flashed my Magic Eyes at it, the dragon turned itself over on its back while letting out the most coaxing whimper he could muster.

He was showing me his underbelly as a sign of surrender.

“HUUUUUUUUUHHH…?!!” Heine yelled in astonishment.

“What the actual fuck…? He made… that beast of a dragon… surrender just by… glaring at it…?” (Raos)

Raos was staring at me in disbelief.

“Huh…? Do you think that, despite their size… maybe dragons are actually not as dangerous as they look…?” (Student girl A)

“…I don’t know, but… The way that one behaves is… kinda cute…” (Student girl B)

“Maybe we can handle this too…” (Student boy A)

“No no, don’t start deluding yourselves! You saw how the other three died a horrible death earlier, right?! It’s Anosh who’s crazy strong!” (Student boy B)

Those were the sorts of comments that came out of the students, who had never witnessed the power of dragons.

“…Oh my goodness. Are you girls seeing what I’m seeing?” Ellen said in a serious tone.

“…You’re thinking of something weird again, aren’t you?” (Fangirl A)

“I-I’m not thinking of anything weird! I’m just analyzing!” (Ellen)

“Uh-huh, sure… So what do you conclude?” (Fangirl A)

Ellen’s eyes sparkled in response.

“Anosh-sama is so adorable that the dragon fell in love with him at first sight!!” (Ellen)

“Now hold on a minute! …Then, for what reason is it showing its belly…?” (Fangirl A)

“Maybe that’s its way of saying ‘Take me’!” (Ellen)

“And crossing the species barrier like it’s nothing?!” (Fangirl A)

There was some kind of ruckus behind me, but it was probably just the usual.

Using my fingertips, I sent a <Thought Communication Leaks> message into the dragon’s head.

It may not understand my language, but dragons weren’t that simpleminded.

If I sent it a telepathic message, it should understand it to some extent.

Take me to your nest. (Anos)

The dragon instantly lifted itself up and plunged into the hole it had made.

Using the <Flight Fless> spell, I followed after it.

The dragon was digging its way through the earth with its horns and magic power.

“Anosh, wait for us!” (Sasha)

I turned around and saw Sasha and Misha chasing after me using <Flight Fless>.

“Where are you going?” Misha asked as they caught up with me.

“Remember what I told you last night about the Institute of the Gods Everastanzetta and the fact that it’s located underground? Well, I want to confirm it.” (Anos)

Arcana said that it was located in the divine capital of Gaelahesta, in the Underground World.

Since I knew nothing about it, then it had to be a world created after my reincarnation.

Also, Ahid Alovo Agartz, the man who summoned Arcana, called himself the cardinal of Jiordal, the Dragon God’s country.

I had never even heard of it.

In that vase, it made sense to assume that it was located in the Underground World.

The ring that Ahid was wearing was made of dragon parts.

Dragons built their nests underground.

For the past two thousand years, there had been almost no traces of them on the surface.

Nevertheless, the fact that dragons, which were on the verge of extinction, managed to survive meant that there must’ve been food underground for them to eat instead of humans and demons.

In other words, there must’ve been an underground world near the dragons’ nests that was created over the past two thousand years.

“Can I come with you?” (Misha)

“It’s gonna be an unknown location. And I have no idea what awaits us. All I know is that there will be individuals capable of summoning gods.” (Anos)

“I want to see anything you see, Anos.” (Misha)

Her expression was deadpan, but her eyes were filled with determination.

“I want to come too. I know we’ll just be a burden, and that you’d rather go on your own, but…” (Sasha)

I put my hand on Sasha’s sweet little head.

“No one under my command is a burden. You two can come along. We’ll be back before the end of today’s classes.” (Anos)

“Nh.” (Misha)

“Okay.” (Sasha)

Misha and Sasha smiled happily.

We followed the dragon’s lead as it dug ahead, and went deeper into the earth than anyone ever did.
