Seeing the Fan Union making a fuss, Ramon’s gaze turned stern but in a completely different way from before.

“But still, Anosh-kun does resemble Anos-sama, you know? See the shape of his eyes?” (Ellen)

Ellen stared at my face again.

“Maybe they’re related.” (Fangirl A)

“Must be because I’m royalty. Of course there’d be some similarities.” (Anos)

“Even the way you speak is like Anos-sama.” (Fangirl B)

“Oh, that’s because I was a traveling entertainer. And I had just recently learned to imitate the Demon King of Tyranny. It’s kind of become a habit.” (Anos)

“Th-Then, Anosh-kun… Could you mimic him in some way for me?” Ellen asked timidly.

“Alright.” (Anos)

I jumped and stood on the podium, and I spoke in a majestic manner.

“I am the Demon King of Tyranny, Anosh Polticoal. Did you think just because I’m a child, I can’t be the Demon King?” (Anos)

“KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!” (Ellen)

Ellen held me up with a high-pitched shriek.

“Anosh-samaaaa! You’re just so adorable!” (Ellen)

She stroked my head and pressed her cheek against mine.

“H-Hey, Ellen! Give me a turn! Let me hold Anosh-sama too! It’s not fair if you keep hogging him!” (Fangirl A)

“N-No way! Just wait a little longer. Besides, didn’t you say that worshiping other people was wrong?” (Ellen)

Ellen took a fighting stance, as if to say that she wouldn’t let go of me.

It was then that a shadow crept behind her.

“Gotcha!” (Fangirl B)

Nono snatched my body and hugged me tightly.

“Anosh-sama… You’ve gotten so small… I’m never letting go of you. Shall we go home together?” (Fangirl B/Nono)

“Ah! That’s foul play! I want to play with Anosh-sama too!” (Fangirl A)

This time, it was Jessica who grabbed me and hugged my face tight.

“We’re taking turns! Each one of us gets seven seconds! The parts of him we can touch go up to rank B! Ah! Hey, Maia! That spot is rank A!” (Ellen)

“Okay~, here’s what I suggest~! Let’s pass Anosh-sama to each other at the same time~!” (Maia)

At that moment, the girls’ eyes sparkled suspiciously.

They moved faster than the wind. The eight Fan Union girls formed a perfect circle and passed me around like a relay baton.

“Circle around, circle around ♪”

“Anosh-sama, circle around ♪”

“Spin around, round, round ♪”

“Anosh-sama, spin around ♪”

And so, the girls sang a harmonious but incomprehensible song they improvised.

Still, I had to admit, this kind of treatment was a first for me.

The fact that they allowed themselves to go this far with the Demon King of Tyranny was probably as a result of peace.

“Very impressive. I guess with the amount of disrespect the girls are giving him, no one would suspect Anosh of being Anos.” Lay whispered.

“…Or rather, it looks more like they’re using that as an excuse to vent off their own lust…” Sasha said while glaring at the girls, as if slightly offended.

“Hmm. Are you almost done?” (Anos)

“Ah. O-Our deepest apologies, Anosh-sama.” (Ellen)

The Fan Union girls took three steps back, as if they were ashamed.

“Don’t worry. Whenever you feel like venerating the Demon King, you can come to me anytime.” (Anos)

With that, I turned to Ramon.

“Sorry I kept you waiting.” (Anosh)

“Err, it’s cool…” (Ramon)

Ramon was making a face that said that he just witnessed something unbelievable.

“…W-Well, those chicks always get up to nonsensical stuff, so don’t pay attention to them. Let’s go.” (Ramon)

“Right.” (Anosh)

We left the lecture hall of Class 2.

Once we were outside the Demon King’s castle, Ramon walked straight through the traffic of Midhaze.

He was headed in the same direction as the Necron household.

That area was filled with many mansions of some of the most influential bigwigs of Dilhade.

Perhaps there were even bigger players involved in this than I thought.

“Anosh.” (Ramon)

Ramon stopped at a three-way junction.

“You said you looked up to the Royalists… and to champions of justice, right?” (Ramon)

“Yeah.” (Ramon)

“Well to tell you the truth… I happen to know a champion of justice.” Ramon whispered, as if to keep it a secret.

“Now you’ve got my interest. Will you bring me to them?” (Anosh)

“If you say you admire them, then I’d love to introduce you to them, but being a champion of justice isn’t easy. The Demon King of Tyranny is keeping the Royal faction under surveillance. If we tried to take action, we’d get crushed by the forces of Midhaze in no time. Do you know what that means?” (Ramon)

“It means trust is the key.” (Anos)

“You really do get it, despite being a kid. You’re right, if we just kept bringing in guys from who-knows-where into our ranks, we’d be taken out in no time.” (Ramon)

Ramon drew a magic circle.

It was for the <Contract Zekt> spell.

“In order to bring you to meet my pals, you’ll have to take an oath of brotherhood with me. If I bring you in as my long-time sworn brother, my comrades will trust you.” (Ramon)

Hmm. Of course he wouldn’t be stupid enough to bring me in without setting some conditions first.

“I don’t mind, but are you sure you can trust me when we’ve only met today?” (Anos)

“…I know you’re not a bad guy. I can see it in your eyes.” (Ramon)

Hmm. Yeah, that was probably a lie.

My guess was that Ramon’s standing in the Resistance was low. So he was trying to make a name for himself and earn points.

In all likelihood, he thought that with my power, which I displayed in class today, he could have a shot at a higher position among the Royalists. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have taken the risk of bringing me, a kid he just met, into their group.

“Unfortunately, in this world of grown-ups, my trust alone isn’t enough for you to gain approval. This contract stipulates that you’ll have to obey my commands. If you sign this, I’ll let you meet the one person I trust the most. So what do you say?” Ramon offered.

The reason he looked so nervous was because he was desperate.

He didn’t want to miss this opportunity that had finally presented itself.

“No problem.” (Anos)

Ramon looked relieved when I signed his contract without hesitation.

“I hope we’ll get along, lil’ bro.” (Ramon)

“Count on it.” (Anos)

Ramon went through the three-way intersection with a somewhat bouncy gait.

What came into view was the mansion of the head of the Angart family.

The head of that family was a direct descendant of one of the Seven Demon Elders, and he was also involved in Midhaze’s government affairs. The Demon Lord Erio had a lot of trust in him, but as I recalled, he shouldn’t be part of the Royal faction.

From the look of it, this family had something going on behind the scenes.

“What do you think? I’m sure even a kid like you knows what this place is.” (Ramon)

“The Angart residence, right?” (Anos)

“Hehe! You betcha. Let’s go. I’ll take you to the family head.” (Ramon)

Thus, I entered the mansion with Ramon.
