“By the way, um… Anos… Can I ask you something?” Sasha asked timidly.

“What is it?” (Anos)

“So, um… Did I say… anything weird…?” (Sasha)

Since I couldn’t grasp the point of her question, she immediately explained.

“…S-So I was dreaming… I was dreaming, but… Right, it was a weird dream, so… I was wondering if I hadn’t said… anything weird in the middle of it.” (Sasha)

“Well, you were indeed saying a lot of gibberish, then you grumbled about not waking up unless I held you. So this is how I woke you up.” (Anos)

Sasha looked relieved, then she tilted her head.

“…Actually, what made you think that I wanted you to pick me up when I asked you to ‘hold me’…? I’m not a child—” (Sasha)

As soon as she blurted that out without thinking, Sasha’s mouth fell wide open, and made a face as if she had fallen into a crisis.

Like she had just dug her own grave.

“I didn’t think it was all sleep talk. I was so sure that this was how you wanted me to wake you up, but who would’ve thought this was all because of your dream.” (Anos)

“R-Right! Like you said! A dream! It was all because I was dreaming! Well, not that it was relevant in any way. None at all. By the way—” (Sasha)

“What were you dreaming about?” (Anos)

Sasha was at a loss for words.

“…Eh? Umm… Well…” (Sasha)

“It must’ve been a really nice dream. You were making quite a happy face.” (Sasha)

Sasha turned bright red and looked away.

“Y-Yeah… It was a nice dream…” (Sasha)

“And you were calling my name. Was I in your dream too?” (Anos)

Sasha clutched my sleeve.

“…You were…” (Sasha)

“What was I doing in it?” (Anos)

“W-What?!” Sasha shouted in surprise.

“What’s wrong?” (Anos)

“…Nothing…” (Sasha)

I stared at her and noticed her forlorn expression.

“Hmm. It seems I’ve asked too much. I guess there are some things you’d rather not share. Then I won’t ask any further.” (Anos)

“Ah…” (Sasha)

When I tried to put Sasha down, she clutched my sleeve, as if she didn’t want me to put her down.

“…You were…” she muttered.

“Hm?” (Anos)

“You were… carrying me. Just like this.” (Sasha)

When I heard that, I laughed aloud and ruffled her untied golden hair.

“That’s what you were so stubbornly keeping to yourself? You’re still such a child.” (Anos)

“Sh-Shut up! Who cares, honestly!” (Sasha)

Sasha clung to me tightly.

Misha giggled at the sight.

“Jeez, what are you laughing at, Misha?” (Sasha)

“I’m just glad to see you happy, Sasha.” (Misha)

Sasha looked a bit awkward from hearing that.

“Khahaha! I can never tell for sure which one of you is the older sister.” (Anos)

“Sasha is the older one.” (Misha)

“Then you should try to act a bit more like a younger sister, Misha.” (Sasha)

Misha tilted her head.

“How do I do that?” (Misha)

“However you can. Like by being lazier than me.” (Sasha)

Misha froze on the spot, as if she didn’t know how to respond.

But then she seemed to realize something, and spoke up.

“Being born second already makes me lazy.” (Misha)

“Sure you don’t mean ‘sassy’?!” (Sasha)

That was a sharp retort.

“Urgh, whatever.” (Sasha)

Sasha was kicking the air, so I put her down on the floor.

Then she drew a magic circle at her feet.

When it went up over her head, her negligee turned into the black uniform of the Demon King Academy.

Sasha finished changing in an instant.

“That’s a problem.” Misha said while looking up at me.

Apparently, she was bothered by Sasha telling her that she didn’t act much like a younger sister.

“Well, I don’t think this is anything to worry about.” (Anos)

“…It still bothers me…” (Misha)

“In that case, why not try to be a little selfish every now and then?” (Anos)

“Selfish?” (Misha)

“Maybe you’ll be more like a younger sister that way.” (Anos)

Misha thought about it, then spoke to Sasha.

“I’m sad.” (Misha)

“…Wh-What’s wrong, all of a sudden…?” (Sasha)

Sasha came closer to Misha, looking worried.

“I’m sad that Anos won’t go to class anymore.” (Misha)

“Ah…” Sasha exclaimed, as if she had just caught on.

“…Right. He won’t… That’s a good point. But to begin with, now that the truth about him being the Demon KIng of Tyranny has reached all of Dilhade, there would be a huge commotion if he went to class.” (Sasha)

“…Nh…” (Misha)

“I also feel sad about it, but… It can’t be helped.” Sasha said, casually taking Misha’s hand.

“I feel sad for Anos too.” (Misha)

“For Anos?” (Sasha)

Sasha turned her curious gaze toward me.

“But he’s already proven that he was the Demon King of Tyranny, so he doesn’t really have any reason to attend class anymore, right?” Sasha asked.

“Not necessarily. There was never much reason for me to attend school, but those boring classes weren’t so bad. And I got to take them with you guys.” (Anos)

Sasha’s face broke into a happy smile.

“I-Is that so…? Then… I guess being finally recognized as the Demon KIng of Tyranny also has its downsides, huh…” (Sasha)

Misha nodded a bit sadly to that.

“Come on, don’t be so downhearted. I’ve been making all sorts of arrangements, which all came together today.” (Anos)

“Eh? Umm… Wait a minute. What are you talking about?” (Sasha)

The two of them gave me puzzled looks.

“I’m talking about me attending the Demon King Academy once again, of course.” (Anos)

“HUH?!” Sasha shouted, as if I had said something absurd.
