Rise of The Anti God (Web Novel)chapter 532: fixing the formation

Damien's heart tensed up when he realized that there must be ley lines all over the places that channeled ethereal energy to power up the teleportation circles located through the base of the Forsaken.

And this leyline must have had a single energy source or medium for effective channeling, which must have been none other than Yohr since he must have built it to gain more ethereal energy on the pretext of channeling energy to these teleportation circles whenever it was needed.

But now that Yohr was dead, there was no longer a medium to channel the ethereal energy. If it was just a problem of energy source, Damien wouldn't be worried since he could simply use his own ethereal energy to power it up.

However, this teleportation formation was not created in a way that would allow him to power it up with his own ethereal energy. The only way was through Yohr. But it was now no different than having the wire of an appliance get cut off from the power socket.

He would have to rewire the whole thing, or in other words, he would have to modify the teleportation formation to let it use his ethereal energy to power itself up.

'Shit, I should have studied more about these things…' Damien only knew basics about formations, and at best, he could call himself an apprentice, but there was no way he knew how to modify a high-level formation like a teleportation formation.

Doesn't this also mean that the teleportation circles Irene and the other Zirians were going to use wouldn't work as well?

"Master, place your hand on Reva's head!" Kalypso suddenly said mentally, making Damien place his palm on Reva's forehead, and he felt a wave of powerful soul energy being passed out from his soul and towards Reva's body.

"You are giving her the soul essence you collected from Yohr's soul plane?" Damien realized what she was doing.

"Yes. I planned to give it after she woke up to avoid any complications, but now you could use her help if this goes well. The addition of this divine soul essence should help her wake up at least," Kalypso mused.

Damien was relieved to hear that, and within seconds, Reva's eyelids twitched as her expression momentarily grimaced before slowly opening her beautiful azure eyes, "Damien…Damien!" Reva remembered that she got struck by Yohr's spirit attack and fell unconscious, and the first thought that came to her mind was if Damien was alright and if anything happened to him while she was down.

"Reva, relax! I am here."

"Damien? Y-You look…" Reva was about to push him away, thinking that she was in the hands of a stranger, but upon getting a clear look at his face, he did look like the Damien she knew but only even more fatally charming, and his ethereal aura was still the same for her, other than being stronger than before.

"Don't worry. Yohr is dead. We did it. But now we really need to get out of here before your father shows up here. I will explain everything later. Can you fix this teleportation formation?" Damien hurriedly asked.

Reva sensed the urgency in Damien's tone and stopped asking questions as she quickly inspected the teleportation formation they were sitting on.

Her soul plane had not yet healed, and she also had no idea why there was an abundance of divine soul essence present in her soul plane that did not belong to her but yet was hers for the taking.

She had not yet assimilated it since she would have to go into seclusion to do that because of which her soul plane was still not in a healthy state, making her feel a sharp headache and dizziness. It was as if she might fall unconscious again any moment but was using her utmost willpower to stay conscious since she knew Damien needed her now.

However, she knew that this place was no longer safe, especially since Yohr told her the truth himself about how he and her father had been playing her and her people all this time from the beginning. And if Yohr really died then, her father would surely come here, and everyone would be in danger.

It was already a miracle that her father had not yet arrived, and she felt that Damien might have done something to delay him.

The people…" Reva asked in a faint tone, her eyelids occasionally closing up and down as she continued to modify the runes on the teleportation circle.

"Don't worry. I made sure to inform senior Irene. They should be busy evacuating now, and I am sure they already found out about the problem of the teleportation formations. The experts among you can modify it, right?" Damien asked since otherwise, he didn't want Reva risking her life to activate all the formations herself.

Reva softly nodded, though she couldn't help but feel worried, wondering if they were going to be alright if her father knew everything from the beginning. She wanted to go out and help them but knew that in her current state, she would only become a burden for them and an extra person to protect, considering her status. She could only desperately pray that her grandmother and the others safely get out.

"We have three minutes left…" Damien didn't want to rush Reva seeing how she was trying her best to modify it while suffering from inside. But he couldn't help but let her know since, after three minutes, not even he could imagine what was going to happen.

Reva's brows furrowed hearing it but changing the basic foundation of a teleportation formation was something that would usually take hours for even experts, but Reva was already almost done with it in just a few minutes.

But three minutes made her feel even more worried, and she tried to concentrate even more despite the stabbing headache she was feeling.

"Damien…you should leave…right after I fix this formation for you…" Reva weakly said as she painstakingly continued to modify the runes as fast as she could.

"What do you mean, Reva??"
