Cachello Trejo, the rank-one veteran player of the New York server and leader of the Black Sand mercenaries, took everyone by surprise when he led an attack against the Nazi headquarters. He was joined by twenty-five skilled merceneries, including five veteran players.
The locations to strike and the perfect timing for the assault were all carefully detailed within Alan's plan. This was the unexpected twist that Alan had been preparing for, an event that he witness in his previous life.
Merle, the skilled Crimson gunner, was left speechless as he saw a large group of enemy soldiers rushing away towards a spot that was already ablaze to the south. At this sight, Alan turned to him and said, confirming their readiness to proceed, "Do you believe me now?"
Without any hesitation, Merle signaled his team to leave the safety of the sewer and follow through with the plan. However, Alan had one more surprise up his sleeve for Merle. He took out a valuable item and handed it to the gunner – his prized Crimson M16.
"Take it, I need you at your peak performance"," Alan said, his voice carrying the weight of the situation. The M16 was a superior item, and Alan handed it over to Merle without waiting for a response. With the unspoken understanding between them, they continued on their way toward the designated warehouse.
"Let's proceed as we've planned, stay cautious," Alan instructed, as the group prepared to execute their risky plan.
The warehouse lay before them, marked by four entrances that held the key to their success. Their entire plan hinged on their ability to secure the premises swiftly, forestalling any possibility of the Nazis summoning reinforcements. Understanding the gravity of their task, they organized themselves into well-defined groups, each with a specific role to play.
The four "rednecks" positioned themselves along the southern perimeter, armed with a mastery of long-range weapons that made them ideal for spotting and intercepting any incoming reinforcements. Their task was two-fold: to act as the eyes of the operation, detecting any signs of enemy movement, and to hold the line when the situation called for it.
On the flip side, Milo, Vicky, Daniel, and Luis strategically positioned themselves at the back and side alleys. Their role was to act as a responsive support unit, waiting with bated breath for the call to join the fray within the warehouse itself. Their positioning allowed them to cover multiple angles, ensuring that no blind spots remained unchecked.
As for the duo of Alan and Merle had the unenviable task of infiltrating the warehouse. Their mission involved securing the two side entrances in stealth. When the group stood in their designated positions, a jolt of surprise rippled through them as a notification chimed in unison.
[You have met the prerequisite to start your bonus mission]
[Hidden Quest Activated].
[You received D level quest: Take out the invader's supplies].
Such notification gave extra motivation for the group to do the task, Alan however found himself grappling with a mixture of determination and anxiety. The classification of this quest as "D level" signaled a substantial challenge, potentially ranking it as one of the major quest levels for the current round. With their positions locked in and the mission already set in motion, Alan's only recourse was to trust that the diversion masterminded by the Black Sand mercenaries would serve its purpose.
Wasting no precious moments, Alan's swift actions were guided by a heightened intuition as he promptly activated his [Enhance Sense] ability, attuning himself to the unseen presence of the enemy within the warehouse. With caution in every movement, he withdrew his gleaming [Arming Sword] in preparation for the upcoming confrontation.
His thoughts raced as he assessed the situation "Two behind the door, one at 20 meters, and another at 30 meters." This whispered reconnaissance served as both a mental map and a strategy, preparing him for the careful act he was about to perform.
Stepping into the shadows, Alan moved with fluid grace. He caught sight of his target: a soldier draped in a grey uniform, back turned as if unwittingly inviting his fate. The atmosphere seemed to hum with anticipation as if holding its breath in the face of an imminent clash.
As his gaze fixed upon the soldier, information seamlessly streamed into his [Gamelink], each detail a piece of the puzzle. A notification emerged in his consciousness, detailing the enemy before him:
[Trained Soldier]
[Type: Human]
[Rank: E]
[Remarks: Soldiers trained to kill on sight]
Alan recognized the elevated challenge this foe posed compared to the soldier he fought at the UN building; a superior defense rating, and increase combat ability.
Undeterred, Alan's resolve fortified. He triggered his [Light Steps] ability. His heart raced as he lunged forward with calculated precision. With every ounce of strength, he launched a sneak attack.
SPLLAAATT!!
The arcing swing of his sword culminated in a piercing thrust, his blade piercing the soldier's vital organ. The assault unfolded in a heartbeat:
32 sword base damage, augmented by a 50% expert sword bonus damage, a 25% bonus for a sneak attack, and a two-fold multiplier for a lethal attack bonus given a huge damage to its target.
[Stabbing: Lethal Attack. Inflicts 110 damage],
The system announced as the soldier's form crumbled, incapacitated by the swift and merciless strike.
In the blink of an eye, Alan followed through, his weapon tracing a deadly arc. The second stab met its mark, the blade finding purchase as the soldier's resistance ebbed away.
[Stabbing: Inflicts 48 damage… target died]
As the reverberations of his actions hung in the air, a second soldier's presence stirred. With seamless fluidity, he engaged his [Lunge Strike] ability. The blade swept through the air its path converging with the second soldier's neck. With a series of rapid slashes, Alan sealed the soldier's fate.
In less than a quarter of a minute, two trained soldiers met their end at Alan's hands.

Alan executed his move so quietly that the guard on the second step of the stairs barely had time to process what was happening. Before the guard even noticed his comrades were gone, Alan was already right beside him, swiftly neutralizing him.
From a raised platform, Alan had a clear view. On the opposite side, he saw another figure. Just as the guard began to react, a soft whirr was heard and he was struck by a bullet. It was from Crimson Gunner's modified silencer that was added to his Golden M16.
Alan noted how efficient Crimson Gunner was. He took out the enemy for a distance but was able to quickly catch him before he could fall and make noise, ensuring their stealth remained uncompromised.
From this vantage point, they both had an eagle-eye view of the entire area. They could see every soldier patrolling around the crates below. Alan started counting them quietly, "Five... six... seven more."
Communicating without words, Alan and Crimson Gunner used well-practiced hand signals. They silently agreed on their next targets. To them, these soldiers seemed unprepared and out of their league. The duo made their way, taking down each one, methodically and silently.

Once they were confident that no more threats were inside, it was time to move on to their next objective.
Approaching the warehouse's back door, Alan gave a soft knock, a prearranged signal. The door opened slightly, and four of his companions slipped inside.
"Ohh my god, you didn't leave any for us?" Vicky responds with a frown realizing all the threat inside has been dealt with so quickly.
"Alright, everyone knows the plan!" Alan whispered with an assertive tone.
Immediately, the team began their search, prying open crate after crate. Inside, they found a treasure trove of weaponry: assault rifles, sleek handguns, explosive grenades, and boxes filled to the brim with ammunition.
All were enough to make a gun fanatic like Merle excited, unfortunately, he just realized one main problem. "There are too many of them!? how are we going to take them!"
