His bad mood from earlier diminished as he heard the notification.
In his mind-sea, a yellow light flickered and a mutated Armored turtle figure appeared.
He was astonished even though this was his second time experiencing it.
He put it aside for now and grabbed the yellow-colored pebble-sized core.
A yellow liquid absorbed into though the palm into his body but he didn't feel any strength-boosting effect like before.
[Core of Yellow-stage Mutated Armored Turtle absorbed. No Yellow Stats point gained.]
"Why is it not giving stats points any longer?" He frowned.
The intense bloody scent caused him to scrunch his nose and he decided to leave this topic for the future.
"I'll look for an answer later. Let's register at the shelter first." He deactivated the [Disguise] spell and ran towards the shelter using mana-enchanted legs.
The yellow tower was around 30 meters tall and 10 meters wide. The shape at the top was conical. He didn't find it that special as it paled in comparison to the Teleporter tower which was one of a kind.
Two human warriors in their early twenties, who were patrolling outside the yellow tower of the outcast, saw a figure rushing at an incredible speed toward their direction.
"Hey, Euan. Look there, a high-level beast coming in our direction. We need to inform Sir Henry." One of the warriors said in a panicked voice.
"Hahaha… that's not a beast, stupid. look carefully." Euan laughed at him.
The first warrior's mouth became agape as the sprinting figure started becoming clear.
It was a crimson-haired boy whose clothes were drenched in blood.
Rio slowed down as he neared the shelter. It took him another two minutes to reach in front of them.
He waved at them and the first guy whose name was Louie looked at Rio as if he was a ghost.
He had recently joined the shelter so he wasn't used to this. He hadn't seen anyone at the yellow stage running at this speed.
Considering the fact, Rio had eight yellow stats points, his real strength already equaled someone in the purple stage.
"Where have you come from?" Euan asked, raising his eyebrows as this was the shelter under the Wilson family. So he didn't let an outsider come here.
"I was transported to a random unoccupied shelter and someone helped me escape it. I have come here to register." Rio said with a bittersweet smile.
"What's your name?" He asked with a stiff voice, staring at him suspiciously.
"Rio Havenglow" He mumbled.
Hearing the Havenglow name, both of their eyes shone as this was a legendary surname for the human race.
Not knowing this family name would be impossible for anyone unless they were too ignorant or too young.
Euan worked for the Wilson family so he kept in touch with all the news going around the seven silver sword family.
He remembered Rio's name as he was a hot topic.
He said, "Let me confirm with our superior in charge of this shelter."
He turned around to go inside the yellow tower.
After two minutes, two people came out of the metal gate.
Euan was with another man who appeared to be in his late twenties.
"I'm Henry Doyle. I was informed by my higher-ups to look for the snow mountain in the shelter's area nearby. We never thought you would come out on your own. Please forgive us for making you wait outside." He said politely.
"Can you help me register at this shelter?" Rio hurriedly asked.
"Let's go inside. I'll immediately start the process."
They went out together through a metal gate. Rio wasn't sure what materials were used to construct the building but it wasn't built by humans.
There were five floors and seven rooms on each floor. A staircase was on the side.
They went into one of the rooms, where there was a desk and a few chairs. A few notebooks and pens were present on the desk.
Henry took out the notebook and started to slide away the pages. After going onto the most recent page, he wrote down some information and kept the note away.
"All done. I have registered your name. Your room is first on the second floor. You will find a portal capsule inside to return back home. Try not to go into random rooms as it would break the rule of the shelter.
Infuse your mana with the button outside the door. The room will be assigned to you until you move to another shelter. Have a great time." Henry explained with a bright smile.
"Thank you," Rio said politely and left.
He took the stairs to go to the second floor. A silver button was beside each door that he saw on the first and second floors.
He tapped it, injecting some mana. The door opened and a small room appeared in front of him.
A wooden bed and a portal capsule, Nothing too grand.
He walked towards the portal capsule without giving a second look at the bed which didn't even have a mattress.
A text flashed on his AI watched 'Teleport', as he stood inside the capsule.
He tapped it and disappeared from the Yellow tower of Outcast shelter.
Unknown to him, Henry also went into his room to return. Even before Rio vanished, he had come hurriedly to his world to make phone calls to his superiors.
***
Aliyah Havenglow had returned from the land of Asura and took a shower to go back to sleep.
A towel was wrapped around her silky blue hair as she went to sit on her bed.
*Ding!*
Her phone screen flashed and indicated she received a notification.
She didn't check it as she was tired from a long day at the shelter.
*Ding!* *Ding!* *Ding!* *Ding!* *Ding!*
Five consecutive notifications rang one after another.
'What's going on?'
She scrunched her eyebrows as she find it abnormal.
She took a glance which caused mixed emotions to envelop her face. From horror to worry and so on.
It was hard to decipher her thoughts from these expressions and the glint in her eyes which showed lots of concern.
She tapped her phone to call. It was ringing but no one answered.
She called again… The line connected this time as someone received her call.
