The sight in front of him appeared to be a beautiful painting of nature by a great artist.
He didn't experience going to places like this where mother nature spread its grace. He was mesmerized by its divine-level beauty. The sound of flowing water made him feel relaxed.
However, his peaceful time only lasted less than fifteen minutes.
A beast jumped out of the water and launched towards Rio, who was walking alongside the edges of the river.
He saw a 50-centimeter entity coming towards him at an incredible speed.
He activated [Devlin Movement Technique] and vanished from the spot.
The beast hit the place where Rio was standing and looked around dazed.
Rio was already standing 10 meters behind it and a double edge sword with a blooming flower-shaped hilt was in his hand that he summoned.
'Ah...That was close.'
His heartbeat throbbed fast as the beast attacked him early out of nowhere.
It was around 50 centimeters and 40 centimeters in shape. It looked like a meaty Boulder but it reminded him of turtles from his world. The shell on Its back looked as if it was made from metal. Two Yellow stripes were present below its eyes.
This wild turtle became enraged as bloodlust filled its eyes.
It shot toward its prey again doubling the speed.
Rio was prepared this time, he enchanted his eyes and his grip on the hilt of the sword tightened.
As the beast neared him, he swung the king silver-bloom.
The wild turtle's face showed panic as the blade made contact with its body. Agony danced in its eyes as the sword passed through the beast.
Blood seeped like spray from the newly made leakage and its two halves body fell behind Rio as it stayed in motion due to the law of inertia.
King silver-bloom sword didn't even put the metal shell in its eyes as it cut it apart like tofu.

[No beast soul gained.]
Rio raised his eyebrows upon hearing the notification. This was his first time killing a wild beast and it was a mutated one which made him wonder if they were really rare like others said.
Unfortunately, he didn't even receive a beast soul.
He turned around to look at the two halves of the Armored Turtle. Blood was scattered around on the ground along with its organs which made him feel nauseous.
He was having a hard time staying here any longer as the rancid smell of blood was too strong.
There was a tiny pebble size Stone covered in blood in the middle of the corpse. It was glowing yellow as if it was a jewel.
'is that the core of the beast?'
Rio took it in hand and moved away from the spot.
He went ahead while inspecting the core in his hand.
"It seems to be the beast core but How should I absorb it?" He looked puzzled.
After carefully thinking, he remembered his first encounter with the beast soul.
"Should I inject some mana as I did for the silver-bloom sword? Let's try." He mumbled.
He stopped in his tracks and a tiny amount of mana flowed inside the pebble-sized Yellow-Stage beast core.
It changed its shape from solid to liquid and entered his palm making him feel his strength raised a little bit.

Hearing the notification, his lips raised upwards forming a smile.
His eyes shone with excitement as he tasted the fruit of battling and raising strength.
But then the smell of blood, which splattered on his clothes earlier, pulled him back to reality.
"I need to Calm down. One small mistake would have cost me my life." He said with a bitter voice.
He stared into the distance as the river was going in a curve line. Without wasting more time, he continued walking.
Another Armored Turtle shot out of the water but it was smaller in size and speed compared to the one he fought.
He effortlessly sent it to the afterlife without even using mana-enchanted eyes.

[No beast soul gained.]
He didn't get any beast soul.
He proceeded to absorb the core the beast dropped.
[Core of Yellow-stage Normal Armored Turtle absorbed. 0.5 Yellow Stats points gained.]
"Only 0.5? No problem. Something is better than nothing, I guess." He comforted himself and kept going.
On his way, he killed 7 normal and 2 mutated Armored Turtles. He gained a total of 8 yellow stats points.
The valley came to an end. The stream of water went east along the mountain's foot. In the north was a grass field with shrubs and trees.
He could see a tower in the distance. It was approximately 1 kilometer away.
'Finally.'
He was tired of fighting the Armored turtles so his face became bright seeing the tower in the distance.
Behind the tower, the number of trees was greater in numbers but he ignored it for now as he wanted to register at the yellow tower of outcast only.
He had no intentions of going on more exploration today.
As he was focused on the tower ahead, he felt a tingle near his neck.
'Danger.'
He vanished from his spot as his intuition warned him of the threat.
A beast had collided with the place he was in before.
It was a mutated Armored turtle that came out from the river as Rio was standing near the area where the stream of water turned to the east.
A chilly sensation ran down his spine. He was not sure how he gained the six senses that warn him beforehand of the danger but he thanked his intuition for alerting him.
Without letting the beast give it any chance to attack, Rio moved towards it using enchanted eyes and foot, stabbing the blade in its head.
Beast didn't understand what went wrong as its eyes became lifeless.
