My Wife is the Asura Empresschapter 309: the search continues

'Ah...'

The abrupt shift in focus took Rio by surprise, and he quickly understood that evading a fight with these two red-stage beasts was not an option. Bracing himself, he prepared for the imminent battle that was going to start.

Rio's eyes narrowed, his muscles tensed, and he shot like an arrow with incredible speed.

In a mere blink of an eye, he stood beside the two menacing beasts. With a fluid and precise motion, he delivered a fast and powerful strike using his bare hand, which was enchanted with mana.

*Thud!!!* *Thud!!!*

The impact reverberated through the air, and the two red-stage beasts crumbled to the ground, their remains scattering as the devastating damage from the boy's raw strength left them lifeless.

His current level of strength rendered them no match for his might, allowing him to dispatch them with ease and without even summoning his silver-bloom king sword.

Rio heard two notifications, but he didn't pay much attention to them. He picked up the cores that appeared beside the beasts' bodies and absorbed their energy.

He felt reinvigorated as his strength slightly increased. The boy was now ready to continue his journey toward his destination where he could find Layla.

Rio's travel led him to confront several more red-stage beasts, each one falling just as easily as the last.

When he finally arrived at the first red-stage shelter, he closed his eyes and focused his senses, extending his spiritual energy outwards like an invisible web.

His spiritual prowess, breaking through to the level of the Heavenly realm, allowed him to discern the distinct auras of the people within the shelter from afar.

He searched intently for the familiar aura of Layla's presence, but his heart sank as he found no trace of her among the auras.

'She is not here...'

The weight of disappointment settled heavily upon him as he realized he needed to continue his search elsewhere.

Feeling disheartened, Rio left the red-stage shelter and continued his search, moving from one location to another. Despite his best efforts, he failed to find any trace of Layla.

"I'll search every corner of this island if I have to but I will find you," Rio vowed to himself with a stubborn heart.

Accepting the fact that Layla could be in one of the silver-stage shelters, he resolved to explore the silver-stage area of Haven Island. He knew that there were two such shelters on the island, and he wondered if Layla might be held captive in one of them.

As Rio's heart remained stubbornly set on finding the girl, he pressed on, his feet carrying him forward.

Upon entering the silver-stage area, his eyes watched the landscape carefully, searching for any sign of the Havenglow family's shelters.

Rio continued his journey through the rolling hills, covered in lush greenery, that surrounded him. Sparkling waterfalls and clear streams flowed through the expanse, adding to the picturesque scenery. Despite the tranquil surroundings, the only thing on the boy's mind was finding Layla.

The gentle rustling of the cherry blossom trees and the sweet scent of wildflowers did little to distract Rio from his goal.

The beauty of the area was breathtaking, but he remained focused on his mission, whispering to himself, "He who is willing to sacrifice everything for the one he loves, will eventually find her."

His resolve remained unwavering as he pressed on, resolute to find Layla at all costs. He knew that finding her was the most important thing to do now and he was willing to do whatever it took to bring her back.

He pushed through the dense, misty forest filled with towering trees that stretched toward the heavens. The branches were heavy with blooming flowers and fruits, but Rio paid them little attention.

Although the breathtaking scenery would have captivated any other warrior, Rio's mind was preoccupied with only one person, 'Layla'.

Before long, Rio's [Heaven's Eyes] noticed a grand shelter in the distance, a majestic sight that commanded attention. Resembling a castle, the impressive complex boasted an array of dome-like buildings, each one proof of the architectural prowess of its creators.

These magnificent structures were arranged in perfect harmony, nestled within the confines of towering, imposing walls that appeared to defy any intrusion. The entire compound exuded an aura of power and grandeur, leaving a lasting impression on anyone who came near it.

"I'll tear down these walls to get to you. Hang on, a little longer. I'm coming, Layla," Rio muttered to himself.

He knew that he would stop at nothing to find the girl and bring her back with him. The sight of the grand shelter had given him a renewed sense of purpose, and he quickened his pace, determined to reach the castle-like structure. Rio navigated through the diverse landscape with haste.

The dense, misty forest enveloped the boy as he moved on forward, barely noticing the lush greenery surrounding him. His heart was filled with worry and hope as he drew closer to the grand structure, each step bringing him nearer to potentially uncovering Layla's whereabouts.

Despite the natural beauty, his eyes remained locked on his destination, his resolve unwavering and his focus undeterred. The peaceful silence was only interrupted by the occasional rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds.

As Rio drew closer to the grand shelter, the chirping of birds and rustling of leaves gradually faded into the background. His gaze remained locked on his destination, the serene atmosphere did little to distract him from his goal.
