The history of the modern vampire's was not noble at all.
Max already knew about how Luna's descendants, the Nightblade's, were exploited by the Vampire society to create new bloodlines.
But only now did he understand that the modern vampires did not win Ixtal by defeating the werewolves and driving them off this planet.
They had actually won it by killing their own ancestors and repainted the history of their brutality as a grand battle of just against unjust.
Max was not shocked at how misrepresented history was, however, he did feel like he was missing the whole picture.
There was definitely more to the history of the vampires and what actually happened, and the missing seed of life was proof that there was more to the history that was lost to the sands of time.
For some reason Max felt that Beniogre must know more about what exactly happened, but he wasn't in a position to interrogate her at the moment.
Beniogre was one of those goddesses who was the most protected and revered individual in the entire universe with the greatest religious following amongst mortals above every other god.
Flowers bloomed wherever she walked and she was said to have given birth to the goddess of moon Luna and the sun god Helios, but it was never clear as to who was the father?
With Luna being involved closely in the war between the primordial vampires and the werewolves in Ixtal's original great war, the one after which the seed disappeared, there were definitely some other powers at play, Max had no doubt about it.
Nonetheless, Ulrich's story gave Max a lot to ponder on, which was the reason behind why he finally decided to delay his reading of the book of the primordial war god till the next day as he wished to spend the day organising and processing the knowledge he had just received.

( Meanwhile back on the Dimensional Battlefield )
It was a historic day on the Dimensional Battlefield as after thoroughly losing all morale to fight, the dark faction warriors had voted on Micheal's offer to surrender and with over 92% voting in favour of a surrender, the Dimensional War finally ended in a sweeping victory for the light faction.
[ System Notification - Congratulations to the light faction for winning the Dimensional War and becoming the only faction to exist within the universe.
All the leaders of the Victorious faction shall be invited to form a new Universal order that will be equally imposed on all worlds that will be integrated into the universe from this point forward.
As for the fate of the current dark faction troops and non-combatants as well as their territories, it shall be decided by the victors as pre-decided before the start of the war ]
The queen's notification sent a wave of joy and elation throughout the light faction camp!
After months of fighting in the harshest battlefield in the universe, the light faction had finally triumphed!
Good had beat evil and the worst of the opposition had been vanquished.
The universe was now headed in a better direction and there was supposed to come a time of great prosperity and joy.
Or at least what the common masses hoped for.
The monarchs, the ones who were supposed to lead the now victorious light faction into a new era of peace and harmony, however, were not celebrating a bit.
The monarchs understood that it was the existence of the dark faction and their constant threat that binded the light faction together and kept them from squabbling needlessly amongst one another.
In the new universal order, there would be no common enemy.
There would no longer be two seperate stands for seating in the arena of the gods.
There would no longer be right vs wrong, but only self interest vs self interest.
For the monarch's, the victory had left them with the monumental task of creating the new universal order, a new set of laws for the queen that would be fair on the surface but secretly beneficial to their monarchy in particular.
It was one thing to win the war, yet another to exploit the spoils of war.

( Meanwhile Regus Aurelius )
Regus poured himself a glass of alcohol when he heard the news about the Dimensional war coming to an end.
Within the next two days, he could leave this accursed place and return home to Ixtal to his beloved wife, but he understood that once he returned home, apart from the big meeting to decide universal order, he would also need to prepare for domestic issues.
Soon, the cover of the Dimensional war would no longer be available to him to delay the investigation into Max Rajput and so far he did not like how things were turning out to be.
He had quelled the rebellion of Lucius and brought the house of Aurelius under order, but he had failed to bring Julian under his influence.
He had tried to tactically explain to Julian that whether the fact that the boy was truly a primordial vampire or not did not matter.
That he was a threat that needed to be neutralised very sensibly, but the usually complacent Caesar clan patriarch did not pick up on his hints too well.
Regus got the impression that the dimensional war and spending time with Vega had changed Julian.
He was filled with a sense of justice and righteousness that was unbiased and unbending.
Regus had always known that the man was loyal towards the vampire society, but he had never seen him disagree with him on politics.
Unable to woo Caesar, the pressure on him was mounting, but little did he know that between now and the meeting the situation was going to get much worse.
Now that the war was over, the instructions that Max had left for his trusted friends and ally's suddenly became applicable-
The dance of shadows had started.
