MMORPG: Rebirth as an Alchemistchapter 466: inti, the creator god of the sun 2

The White Monks in the group attacked Inti with relentless series of repeated onslaught of their martial arts skills powered by Ki.

Their actions were quickly backed up by their long-range attackers, and they left no chance for Inti to escape their barraged of spells, arrows, and exploding duds just to lower the High God's HP.

Great Dynasty did manage to lower Inti's HP by 20% before the High God used one of its Legendary Actions.

Unlike with most high ranking beasts that entered [Berserk Mode] and [Last Stance Mode], High Gods and other Gods didn't have that kind of instinctual advantage. What they had were lists of Legendary Actions that they could freely cast one battle at a time.

A good thing about this was that, they couldn't cast the same Legendary Action simultaneously and that this list of Legendary Actions could only be used once per battle.

Inti unleashed [Gravity Zone]. He created a zone of zero gravity within a hundred-meter radius from him, and the gravity moved together with him. The affected area was controlled by Inti for up to 1 minute and required no concentration on his part.

All creatures and objects that were not secured became detached from the ground and floated up to ten meters in height.

Great Dynasty was caught off guard, and they didn't expect the spell so soon. There were on an open field with no things or branches to hold upon, so everyone raise off their feet.

Ren wore [Dracula's Cape] before Inti suddenly ended the effect after making sure that the players were high enough. When Inti's [Gravity Zone] ended, everyone suffered critical damage from falling on the ground.

Ren's shape shifted into hundreds of bats as he safely landed on the ground while the others quickly healed Great Dynasty's members. Others were too late to heal, and they burst into particles.

"D-damn it! It's too strong!"

"What are we going to do?"

"Ren! Why aren't you doing anything?" Hugo thundered. "We're going to get wiped out at this rate!"

Ren's answer was a burst of series of [Infernos]. Right now, this was still the most destructive spell in his arsenal that his MP could afford.

Though [Inferno] was the final upgraded version of [Flame] there were still better spells out there. Ren decided that he would upgrade his list of spells when he could as well as his gears.

He also saved Inti's [Gravity Zone] since Ren felt that it would come in handy in the future.

When [Inferno] hit the high God, scorching heat enveloped Inti in never-ending flame, and there was a [Burn] Status that appeared on the God's Head after the spells were finished. With Ren's attack, he chipped out Inti's HP by about 20%.

That gave the others a boost in morale.

The other spellcasters did the same as well and shot a series of spells in the High God's way.

However, Inti wouldn't just fly there in the air and accept all those attacks. He activated another one of its Legendary Actions [Spell Immunity]. This allowed him to be immune to any spells for one minute.

"Attack it with your weapons!" Ren instructed.

The others did as they were told, and the DPS surrounded Inti and simultaneously let out blows that depleted Inti's HP some more.

The high God was angered, and the dark horizon cracked. And in those cracks, light sipped past through before hundreds of them burst forth from the sky and danced on the ground.

The small beam of lights from the cracks on the horizon were like laser beams, firing beams of light rapidly onto players. Everyone that was hit suffered continuous divine magic, and their HP quickly depleted.

Even with their area spells, the Ascetics couldn't keep up healing their members at this rate.

"Damn it! Concentrate your healing on me!" Hugo shouted. "I am the leader here! I must not die!"

He could die. Ren said, casting [Shamanic Ward] on himself to lessen Inti's damage. He also took the [Greater Potion] he concocted to heal some of his HP.

It didn't matter if who lived, as long as someone survived in the end after battling with a boss, the group wouldn't be able to be wiped out. Thus, wouldn't suffer the death penalty.

After Inti's innate spells, the God performed another one of his Legendary Actions [Supernova].

Inti emitted magical, divine energy in an explosive burst. Everyone within a twenty-meter radius from the God was pushed away and took additional damage when they hit the ground, objects, or themselves.

From their few numbers, Great Dynasty was reduced to ten, and their situation turned dire when their Ascetics died after a series of the High God's attacks.

"D-damn it . . ." Hugo cursed under his breath before he turned his attention to Ren.

"Hoi! At this rate, we're going to die!"

Ren sighed. "There's no escaping once engaged with a boss," he started.

Hugo tilted his head. "Huh?"

"It means that you're really going to die here."

Hugo frowned before realization hit him. "Y-you! Are you really an NPC?!"

Ren didn't reply. He was thinking about using Great Dynasty as Cannon Fodders, but it looked like he gave the group so much credit.

Though the fact remained that no one could indeed kill a High God with just a hundred players, Ren thought at least that Great Dynasty could withstand Inti's onslaught of attacks even for just fifteen minutes while he slowly chipped the God's HP.

But who knew that they were so disorganized, weak, overconfident, and over-dependent on him that they didn't even last ten minutes?

No matter. Ren thought. Since he was already delayed and Pii's [Evolution] skill would reset after a few hours. He couldn't think of anything that would hold him back from activating its skill.

"Hoi! Are you listening to me?! Heal us! Or at least kill that God!" Hugo thundered while Ren ignored him still.

Inti activated the last of its Legendary Action, the [Touch of the Golden Sun].

Inti's dark skin quickly turned Gold like he was poured with thick gold paint in which all non-magical objects that touched his skin would immediately disintegrate.

Inti's legs finally touched the ground, and he immediately grabbed the players with his hands. The players took force damage and immediately disintegrated.
