Staring at the Low Ascendion stage Shadow walker, who was only a few dozen meters away from him, Jason made no efforts to hide his smile.
He shot more than a hundred black flame spears towards the Shadow walker.
By fusing with Solaris, their respective strength turned into one and was reinforced.
His special traits, that is the moonlight affinity and divine energy further enhanced it.
Owing to that, Jason didn't have to hesitate in order to attack and kill his opponent who was paralyzed with fear, too afraid to even move.
The Shadow walker's entire body had stiffened, including the darkness that enveloped him like a snake's coiled body.
This was owing to the petrification curse Jason had activated on the Cultivator.
Because of that, the black flame spears punctured the Shadow walker, killing him in seconds.
His body was covered in spikes similar to that of a porcupine…just a dead one!
Afterward, Jason felt a weird feeling surging up within him. As he turned around, he was able to see everyone staring at him with uncertainty and fear, unsure of who, or even what he was.
This and the sensation that suddenly overwhelmed him, made an extremely distinct feeling of greed ignite within him.

Instead, it was his greed to kill every single opponent!
Consumed by this thought, Jason shot out the thousands of black flame spears without any hesitation.
Following that, Jason didn't even wait to see if he hit someone and manifested another batch of thousands of black flame spears. Like before, he shot them out, killing hundreds of opponents at once.
This process repeated itself more than ten times before Jason felt that his mana was a little bit drained.
In fact, while being fused with Solaris, the black flame affinity's mana consumption was negligible. It was almost impossible for him to use enough mana to outweigh the passive mana gathering even if he would transform his entire aura into an Inferno.
While attacking recklessly, Jason didn't even pay attention if he was hurting or even killing the defenders of Xytra.
However, that was not necessary, to begin with, because the defenders of the city were not hurt by any of Jason's attacks.
Having been summoned, and shot out within his aura that enveloped a huge area, Jason's black flame spears were precisely controlled to disintegrate if they came too close to an ally.
This was something that was extremely complex and it was difficult to control, but it worked rather easily owing to the emotional range of the beings all around him.
Those who were pleased by the change brought forth in the battle by Jason felt great, overjoyed, and maybe a little bit of fear. But, it was completely different from the Cultivators belonging to the Shadow walker alliance.

Considering these emotions as something only a foe would think of him, the black spear attacks he created would continue their advance. They would kill these opponents as long as they were unable to face his attacks head-on.
And that was necessary because evading the volleys of black flame spears was much more difficult than one might believe.
Owing to his several volleys of attack, he gathered the vast majority of attention on the entire battlefield.
This included the Cultivators with a higher cultivation base, from the Mid Ascendion stage right up to the Specta stage.
In the end, this was rather disadvantageous, but Jason was fully aware of what he was doing.
It didn't take the defending side long to understand that Jason was a force to reckon with.
Thus protecting him became a high priority and letting him do their work seemed far less risky too. After all, he was able to kill more than ten thousand foes in a matter of seconds. Hence, they had to protect him in order to slim down the number of their own casualties.
Because of that, a Specta stage Devir that looked eerily human, and an Aeus with two pairs of wings appeared in front of him before they asked him to continue with whatever he was doing.
By only taking a short glance at the two Specta stage beings, Jason didn't take long to realize that the Devir was the one Jennifer was searching for, while the other Aeus was someone he didn't know.
But it was definitely not Jennifer's mother!

He was ready to initiate another attack, but it was at this moment that the ground several dozen meters below him burst open. An enormous Earthworm emerged from it, making a high-pitched weird sound.
Yet, contrary to everyone's expectation of the beast suddenly attacking him, it remained at its position.
Instead of labeling him as an extremely dangerous foe, it stood behind him, acting as the third protector of Jason.
This dumbfounded everyone who looked at Jason, whose entire body was clad in an armor of flames that made him look majestic.
But at the exact same time, he was someone most beings on the battlefield were afraid of. His eyes that had turned crimson released the purest desire to kill, which many people had never sensed in their entire life.
And that was even the case for those Ascendion stage beings that were hundreds of years old!
Despite sensing this, Jason couldn't care less about the feelings others had about him. Currently, he was distracted by a sudden desire Solaris was voicing out, and he almost willingly gave in.
But, he held back from the urge to destroy and kill everything around him at the last moment when he realized what exactly Solaris wanted from him.
'You…want to manifest the gate? The same one from years ago?? Why would you want to do that, Solaris?'
Several years ago, in a fit of rage, and the desire to kill everyone who had taken something from him, he had manifested the Replicas of the Gates of Hell…or at least that was what the Embassy of the Elvir race had said.
They had also warned him that the Gates of Hell were extremely dangerous and that he should never summon them intentionally.
However, that was something Jason could clearly tell too. It was not exactly difficult because he was able to sense that Solaris' range of emotions was a chaotic mess.
Whether this was because the black origin flame was sensing his emotions for the first time, or something else didn't matter.
He knew that the fusion might be a little bit overwhelming for Solaris.
Jason just knew that he shouldn't manifest the gates as Solaris wanted.
Rather, Jason manifested more and more black flame spears and exceeded his limitations.
Meanwhile, the Aura of Hell, which was the name Jason gave the transmuted aura, Solaris' transmutation was causing to his Celestia aura, enlarged further.
Through this, his range of attack became bigger too, but instead of staying at the same spot as before, Jason began to move around.
He launched a killing spree all over the battlefield, while his three protectors remained by his side, shielding him from all kinds of attacks that were desperately fired at him.
Even the Specta stage powerhouses of the Shadow walkers launched an attack, but when they noticed that the protective shield around Jason was close to impregnable, they issued the command to retreat.
Owing to this, the defenders of Xytra were able to overcome the numerical disadvantage.
They fiercely defended against the Shadow walker alliance and emerged victorious with only a fraction of the casualties they had feared to have.
And all of this was thanks to one particular individual- Jason!
