After 15 months had passed since Byakur underwent a radical transformation, almost gaining a second life, Jason and his soulbonds' strength had increased tremendously, and the first trial of the Dungeon of the Primordial Descendant was nearing its end.
While Artemis was by far the strongest soulbond now, the others were feeling intimidated by her speed, which made them exceed their own limits too.
This was a great sight, and despite the boredom he had to face while fighting the seemingly weak opponents, that were in fact, extremely strong, Jason couldn't complain at all.
If he were to be somewhere else, neither his own nor his soulbonds' cultivation would have progressed at such a tremendous rate.
He was able to procure most of the plants that either helped produce cultivation energy or accelerated its speed from the previous Inheritance site, after all.
Thus, Jason was happy, even though Artemis was trying to overwhelm him with her rapid advancement speed.
While Artemis could liquefy between 500-1000 mana drops a day, Jason was unable to reach such a high number, even after the first major seal of the Chaos Emperor had been removed.
This was because Jason had to move around, clear the floors, and stay vigilant of other beasts attacking him while she could solely focus on cultivating.
It didn't require his entire focus and allowed him to cultivate, but the extent at which he could cultivate was halved.
Yet, even at his full speed, Jason was sure that Artemis was currently much faster than he could be.
That was owing to her evolution and her mutation that influenced her evolution tremendously.

Furthermore, that didn't seem to be her maximum limit, adding to his surprise.
Because of her tremendously high cultivation pace, Jason was not even shocked that Artemis entered the second threshold of the Prismar stage in the span of 15th months.
With the ability to solidify a single small prismarine crystal every month, she had only required five months to enter the Peak of the Prismar stage's first threshold.
Afterward, she took a total of 10 months to gather enough liquefied mana to start the creation process of the first large rotating crystal that enveloped three small prismarine crystals.
Not knowing what exactly she was supposed to do, Artemis had no other choice but to follow her instincts, which forced her cultivation progress to slow down.
This was also the reason why the took a total of 10 months until the first of three large rotating crystals was finally created.
The creation of the next two rotating crystals wouldn't take that long, and Jason was fully aware of this.
As such, he also knew that he would either have to advance to the 2nd threshold soon too, or his vessel's progress would slowly lose out against Artemis' tremendously high pace of advancement.
However, if not for Artemis' tremendously high advancement pace, Jason would be more satisfied with his own advancement, because it had only taken him 15 months to solidify four more prismarine crystals!
That was one crystal in slightly less than four months, which was less than what Jason was able to attain under normal circumstances.
window.pubfuturetag = window.pubfuturetag || [];window.pubfuturetag.push({unit: "64cc9e79c7059f003e4ad4b0", id: "pf-5109-1"}) While his achievements were noteworthy, this thought made him remember that he was far from being in a normal situation, and he had several tasks in front of him which distracted him from solely focusing on the cultivation progress.
Fortunately, this was not the case for his other soulbonds, and they had already caught up to him. Only Spyro was a little behind, having solidified seven prismarine crystals, while Petri had already solidified eight.
On the other hand, Solaris was already gathering mana for the first large rotating crystal as it had solidified the ninth prismarine crystal some time ago.
In the end, Jason had lost track of how strong he had become after advancing because even his sub-areas that had been adjusted some time ago, were once again underperforming.
This gave Jason the opportunity to divide the threads of the soul energy cycle once again.
He was thankful for this opportunity, Spyro gave him the largest amplification to his brain owing to the soul amplification which he received from each of his soulbonds.
By enhancing his mind, it was possible for him to meet the demand for soul crystals, even though it was barely enough.
That was fortunate, otherwise his soulbonds wouldn't be able to be inside the soul world, but they would probably be right next to him, unable to cultivate owing to the lack of cultivation energies.
Smiling dryly at this thought, Jason approached the gate of the 35th floor.
On average, Jason advanced one floor every month, which was much slower than his expectations.
Nevertheless, finding the gates took a major chunk of his time, so increasing his advancement speed was not something he was able to achieve.
window.pubfuturetag = window.pubfuturetag || [];window.pubfuturetag.push({unit: "663633fa8ebf7442f0652b33", id: "pf-8817-1"})Despite that, Jason could kill all his opponents with a single attack, because his strength had long since crossed the requirements of the first trial.
This was something he didn't expect to happen, certainly not in the most difficult challenge of the dungeon.
The Guardian on the 30th Floor had already solidified two large rotating crystals, which allowed it to have an estimated strength of 30 solidified prismarine crystals.
Yet, by the time Jason entered the 30th Floor, he was already on the way to solidifying his 7th prismarine crystal, while his soulbonds had amplified his strength by an average of three more prismarine crystals!
If he were to add his other characteristics that increased his combat prowess, the only thing the Guardian had was a high cultivation base!
In the end, the strength of the Guardians was exceptionally high, considering that it went from owning 6 prismarine crystals which they had on the lower floors, to possessing two large rotating crystals.
Fortunately, Jason's strength increased much faster, otherwise, the 30th Floor would have been his place of burial!
Shaking his head, Jason faced the Guardian of the 35th floor, not holding back his strength even the slightest.
Right now, he had around two weeks left to advance further, and that was not something he would give away.
As such, after letting Artemis enter his mana core, Jason's strength increased by 100% of Artemis' strength, while white silverish wings sprouted out of his back.
Charging towards the oblivious Hellbound Tigress, Jason exerted the Floating Sky movement technique, the two curses he harbored and the Abyssal effect as Byakur manifested in his hand.
Enlarging to a longsword with a length of more than seven meters, it turned silver owing to the mana Jason injected, vibrating lightly.
With swift steps, Jason emerged below the Hellbound tigress, only to swiftly behead it with one quick strike of Byakur, which he wielded his enhanced weapon effortlessly.
Its head fell to the ground with a large thump, while Jason smiled lightly.
"I wonder what my strength's limitations are!"
This was an extremely interesting topic because his own strength was already equivalent to a being with two large rotating crystals!
After adding Artemis' strength the moment she occupied his mana core, his strength reached a level comparable to a being owning four large rotating crystals.
Afterward, his other soulbonds' amplification would be added and all other means to increase his strength turning him almost invincible.
Thus, Jason was extremely confident that even some ordinary beings at the Initial phase of the dome's solidification process would be no match for him.
This realisation was shocking, and the next two weeks proved to be extremely fortunate because he was able to find the next two gates. It gave him the opportunity to advance to the 38th floor, passing a total of 37 floors just before the first trial ended.
Two years had passed, but to Jason, it felt like it had only been a month.
He didn't even realise how much time had passed because everything had been the same to him.
Yet, thinking about a few particular individuals, Jason couldn't help but be worried about.
'Is Jennifer in trouble?' He wondered, not sure why exactly his mind wouldn't stop thinking about her.
