Chapter 201 – Florida Man Took Flight Courses to Become First Human Pigeon.
Things settled down after Leo erected the pill factory. He no longer had a supply shortage issue.
What pleased Leo the most was the gunsmith upgrade.

Gunsmith Workshop Level 12
Gunsmith Automaton (1/1)
Hand Loader Automaton (1/1)
Firearm Technology (5/6)
Product Quality (2/6)
Structure Quality (3/6)
.
As the tech level went up, the current distributed rifles became outdated. The mannequins stopped producing breech-loading rifles and began producing something more interesting.
At the workshop, Leo stood in front of the two mannequins. They also waited for Leo's instructions.
In front of Leo was the system screen, which showed the list of firearms that Leo could build.
"I guess we skip the WWII techs to the Cold War period. How nice!"
AK-47, M16, Barrett M82, and Steyr AUG were available to craft. However, unlike the previous rifles, Leo could no longer rely on sacred wood and holy lich superconductors. The system demanded Leo's lifespan and other materials to make.
From here on, Leo also needed to supply the mannequins with his blood and a weird material called Immortalium. He also had to pay the mannequins one year of lifespan for every new rifle made.
"And where the hell do I get that ore or mineral?"
Leo scratched his head and stared at the two idle mannequins. They tilted their heads as they didn't know either.
Realizing how useless they were, Leo gave up on them. He took the elevator to the mystic realm portal and visited his trusty advisors.
.
On the flying island, the fisherman guardian "Kitten" never stopped throwing something out of the portal. Every minute, either trees or living monsters came out from the permanent portal. All materials vanished upon coming out while all living beings went down the slider and fell to the canyon river.
When Leo got there, he realized that he never collected the tributes from Kitten. He walked toward the portal to check the other side.
However, the three presenting guardians could read Leo's mind. They reminded Leo how he could collect the tributes.
The angel uttered first.
"Master, all gathered materials are automatically sent to your warehouses and granaries. You just need to head there and bring them out from the system's temporary storage."
"…Oh." Leo was surprised. "I have an inventory system?"
"Not that kind of inventory you're looking for, but it is indeed an inventory system. You can't store items in there though."
"Fair enough. Anyway, I need help. Do you know where I can get Immortalium ores or whatever that is?"
The angel remained silent and glanced at the wolf. The Fenrir wagged his tail and smiled.
"You can find them on this planet, woof. But you have to go further north, woof!"
"North?"
"Somewhere beyond the Cauliflower City, woof! Fly 100 kilometers north. You won't miss it, woof."
"…"
Leo nodded. He also had another reason to go there.

Leo had finished the first main quest, and the second set appeared. Fortunately, Leo had already completed most tasks. Only the complicated ones remained.
The bottleneck was the earth fate crystal and the mineral depot. As the mysterious Immortalium ore might be a strategic resource that the system mentioned, securing the depot was the same as killing two birds with one stone.
Leo had no reason not to explore the main continent. He agreed to the suggestion.
"I guess it's time for another adventure. By the way, do you know where the hidden earth fate crystals are?"
The angel pointed south while Mu-Nyang pointed east.
"One of your subordinates has it. She might give it to you if you ask her." Said Meowmeow.
Mu-Nyang looked east and hinted at Leo. "The last one should be in the middle of the ocean, munya. You might have to get to the bottom of the ocean to get it, munya."
Leo smacked his forehead with his palm. He couldn't imagine himself diving into the ocean abyss and searching for a random crystal.
"That's worse than searching for a needle in a haystack."
"Want me to go search for it in your stead, munya?"
Upon hearing Mu-Nyang's suggestion, Leo was overjoyed. He readily agreed.
"Then, please do. I'm already busy as I am."
"NYAHAHAHA! PLAY TIME, MUNYA!"
"Oi!"
It was too late for Leo to retract his words. The giant Cathulhu statue vanished and left behind a sonic boom shockwave.
The angel and wolf statue's expression dulled as they had expected the cat to run away sooner or later. As for Leo, he pursed his lips.
He didn't mind that Mu-Nyang ran away from his guardian duty. He envied the cat.
"Say, Meowmeow." Leo's expression was solemn.
"Yes, master?" The angel sensed the seriousness of the situation. He prepared to take action.
"Can you teach me how to fly?"
"…Huh?"
"Don't HUH me! I know you can read my mind! I don't know how to fly, and I want to fly, too! I WANNA BECOME A PIGEON SO THAT I CAN DROP A SHIT BOMB ON MY ENEMY'S HEAD!"
"…"
Meowmeow facepalmed as he didn't expect his master's childish behavior to act up often. Still, as Leo lacked the fundamentals and basic skills of a cultivator, the angel decided to help him.
"Flight skills can be difficult, but you should be able to do it naturally like how you breathe. First, you should treat the gravity force as a hindrance while the air is a mass of water. Then, you use your Qi to…"
The lesson went on. Leo sat in front of the angel statue, listening to the lecture.
.
.
A week went by.
Leo's daily routine changed. In the early morning, he opened the shopping mall and welcomed new customers from the commoner town. As nobody could take the role of a cashier, Leo got stuck in the mall from 6 AM to 6PM, collecting lifespan and selling pills.
At 6PM, the shopping mall was closed. No worker, commoner, or people from the Tang Clan could linger in the mall as Leo kicked them out. Afterward, for two hours, Leo always toured his domain and examined his farms, warehouses, granaries, and workshops.
At 9 to 11 p.m., Leo went back to the flying island to attend Meowmeow's lecture. When the class was over, Leo went back to his battle bus to sleep. He always woke up at 5AM and entered the shopping mall through the backdoor to manage the underground warehouse.
At 6AM, Leo repeated the loop.
When nobody caused trouble, days were slow and peaceful. Leo loved the feeling of spending boring days doing the same thing over and over. This tedious mundane lifestyle reminded him of the time when he was still a regular salaryman.
Unfortunately, the peaceful period was short.
WHOOSH
Leo teleported back from an offline battle stage to his bedroom. He just fought another shadow of an immortal and killed the guy.
He glanced at the reward, which he got from the fight. He opened the gacha menu and navigated to the gnosis gacha banner.
At the moment, Leo had two gacha tickets as he had defeated two shadows so far. He wondered if he should draw them or stack them to draw 10+1.
The discount tempted Leo. In the end, he decided to save up the tickets for the additional draw and guaranteed rate.
"Alright. Time to work!"
Leo went out of the bus to go to work as usual. However, this day was different.
In front of Leo's motorhome bus, Ivy, Esen, Marc, and Beatrice gathered. Behind them was a company of undead creatures.
Leo didn't fear ghosts. He stared at the crowd and frowned.
He didn't mind that Esen brought friends. However, he was dissatisfied as she never informed him.
"This ain't Halloween y'all. I have no candies for you. Also, Esen. Next time, introduce them to me first so that I can add their names to the employee list. I can't let them roam free without permission or the Fenrir statue will eat them. He likes bones."
"…"
Esen rolled her eyes as she couldn't understand what Leo was referring to. She rested her hands on her hips and leaned forward.
"Geezer, I need your help."
Leo smirked. "Is that the attitude of someone who needs help?"
"Meh, I don't give a damn. We're out of tea. I want more tea for age reduction! I want my people to become alive again."
Leo pursed his lips and glanced at Ivy, Marc, and Beatrice. Although the trio had drunk a lot of tea, their skin already turned purple. It didn't look like the tea worked on them.
On the other hand, Esen still remained a graceful flat-chested high elf. She also didn't smell like a corpse.
After inspecting the crowd, Leo wondered why Esen was resurrected while the others stayed undead. He closed his eyes and recalled the difference between her and her minions.
"Esen."
"Yeah?"
While recalling the old memory, Leo asked her. "Do you remember how I resurrected you?"
"…No clue."
"Hmm."
Leo remembered that he almost mutated her, but he managed to save her life by shoving his blood down her throat.
'Was that incident the reason?'
The corners of Leo's mouth curved up into a faint smile. He believed that he got the answer.
"Sure. But once I resurrect them, will they swear allegiance to me and be my employees for the rest of their lives?"
One of the death knights at the back shouted. "If you can remove the curse, we will do anything! Even if you want us to fight overlords, we'll do it for you!"
After the knight shouted, the others followed suit.
"That's for certain!"
"We take pride in our loyalty! We, the Molg Tribe, keep our promises!"
Leo was satisfied with the answer. He turned his attention to Ivy, Marc, and Beatrice.
"Good. But that's not what I really want. I need something different. By the way, have you heard of an earth fate crystal? I need that for alchemy."
