'Kill them!'
Tartarus flinched after hearing Lucifer's angry voice inside his mind. He was standing inside abandoned Legacy Company's skyscraper, in the ground floor. Around him was corpses of dozens of angels.
However, he knew that Lucifer didn't want him to kill these nobodies.
"Sigh, maybe following Erebus was a bad move." Tartarus sighed and stepped through the front door and arrived in the half-frozen and destroyed streets.
"Diee!" Out of nowhere, an axe-wielding god appeared behind Tartarus, hacking the axe down. Tartarus snapped his fingers, and a tall metal door appeared behind him. The axe struck the door, sending bright sparks flying around. Then, the door swung open, and chains coiled around the surprised god.
Then, the chains sucked the god inside the door, and then it slammed shut.
No one would ever find that god in his own realm. He was basically half-dead, suffering in endless torment.
Bang!
A bullet flew across the sky, and another door appeared from empty air and blocked the bullet's trajectory. Tartarus turned to look into the distance and saw King Klaus holding his black-masked gun.
The door swung open, and shimmering chains shot out of the open door. They burst through the buildings and approached King Klaus' position. However, he quickly backflipped away from the building and simultaneously fired bullets through the cracked window, through the wall, and straight toward Tartarus.
Tartarus waved his hand, and the door skidded through the pavement and appeared in front of the bullet. The bullet entered the open door and vanished into a glowing black portal.
Klaus rolled on the ground, leaped back to his feet, and ran through the alleyway between two buildings. The chains burst through the walls and surrounded him!
Klaus kicked off the pavement and dove through the gap between two chains. Then, he aimed the sniper's barrel towards pavement, fired a bullet, and used its recoil to propel himself upward. He backflipped in mid-air, landed on the rooftop, and quickly leaped towards another rooftop while the chains wrapped around the previous building and destroyed it.
Klaus' frown grew, and he quickly flipped the sniper around, pulled the trigger with his index finger, and released another bullet. This time, the bullet aimed towards the chains. However, the metal chains dodged the bullet like slithering snakes. It was as if they had a mind of their own.
The chains were also becoming increasingly longer. The distance between the chains and the open door was already nearing the one-kilometer mark. The chain was still getting longer and longer, almost as if it didn't have any limits!
Klaus turned around and looked around the streets with a sharp gaze. He then caught sight of a golden lightning. His eyes started showing circuits of lightning, then, shockingly, he burst into great speed and crossed the distance between him and Tartarus in only a millisecond.
In the past year, after his humiliating defeat to Isaac, he increased his powers with his obsessive nature and even learned how to copy the basic abilities of his opponents. Now, he could even copy Isaac's incredible vision and even Noelle's speed, which he just did.
He did all that just to defeat Isaac. However, he never got that chance.
Tartarus was impressed by the speed but not fazed. He quickly summoned the door and made it appear in front of him. He then touched the back of the black metal door and pushed it forward.
The door moved through the pavement with incredible speed and collided with Klaus. He was thrown across the street with his right arm swaying behind him. His arm was broken by the impact!
Klaus smashed into a horde of demons and humans who were fighting at the far end of the street. The number of soldier demons and ordinary mortals had reduced drastically. They couldn't survive for long on the battlefield with so many strong individuals.
Tartarus waved his hand, and the doors swung open with new chains shooting out. The three other doors, which he had summoned some time ago, also sent their chains after Klaus. The chains shredded through the demons, inhumans, New-Gen Humans and Angels.
Klaus tried to stand up, but then the coils wrapped around his limbs and dragged him towards Tartarus. With four chains holding his limbs, he was soon hovering in front of Tartarus with painful screams. One of the chains was holding tightly to the broken arm, and it looked like it was nearly falling off the shoulder.
Tartarus looked toward the sky, where the most powerful people were fighting. There was one person who saw what was happening on the streets. She was Gaia, and her face seemed slightly haggard after fighting Lucifer. However, now Shiva had entered the battle and was fighting well against Lucifer.
That allowed her to have enough time to look at Tartarus.
"Tartarus, please don't!" Gaia cried out, attracting the attention of others.
Vasily Zaytsev finished another dozen soldiers. He then heard the cry and turned around to look at the scene, which was being watched by others. His eyes widened, and he tried to move into a firing stance. But then, members of the Legion of Evil ambushed him and pushed him off the roof.
Tartarus didn't gloat or smile. He just let out a sigh, waved his hand and made the chains pull Klaus' limbs to different directions. His scream reverberated in the air, then all his limbs was pulled off his torso and then lastly, Tartarus wielded his scythe and sliced through his throat.
The crimson blood flew in the air, splattering against the cracked pavement and frozen walls...
Thud... thud... thud...
King Klaus' head bounced up and down on the pavement before coming to a stop. His lifeless eyes blinked once more before entering eternal rest.
"No!" Gaia screamed and flew towards Tartarus in anger. But then, Anti-Social appeared in her path and split the space in half. Gaia dodged it barely but some of her beautiful silver hair got split in half. Then, Axcel appeared behind him with a lusty grin, grabbed her by hair and threw her straight to the ground.
CRASH!
