White Onlinechapter 373: zane's dojo.

Ring…

"Hmm?" Isaac's hand stopped writing after feeling vibrations from his front pocket. He pulled out his phone and saw a message from Lionel.

He asked if Isaac was free tomorrow.

Isaac replied yes, and Lionel asked if he wanted to visit his dojo.

"Hmm, dojo… Sure, why not." Isaac replied with yes. Then, Lionel sent coordinates, and it was relatively close to him.

Then, Isaac pocketed the phone and resumed writing down.

The following day.

Burble!

The sound of water running echoed throughout the room. Isaac was washing his face inside the bathroom before cleaning his drenched face with a towel.

Then, he left the bathroom and took his winter clothes. After that, he left his room and went downstairs.

In there, he saw his father, Maxwell, talking with Isabella. Their faces seemed concerned.

"I am going to visit the city!" Isaac said while quickly moving closer to the front door. Then, he slipped his feet into his winter boots and opened the front door.

Then, his mother's voice came from the living room, "Isaac, wait!"

Isaac left the house and closed the door behind. He knew if he waited, he would have to suffer questions. Then, he left the yard through the open gates and walked down the streets.

Soon, he left the neighborhood and reached the quiet streets. A cars drove past slowly, and citizens kept entering nearby stories.

Isaac pulled out his phone and checked the coordinates. Then, he felt an intense stare aimed at his face.

He looked to the right and saw a young girl, around 8s, holding her father's hand, who was checking out the TV through the shop windows.

She looked at him without blinking and even felt like an emotionless doll.

Isaac wryly smiled and walked past her. Even after walking for several seconds, the feeling of being stared at didn't disappear.

Then, finally, he reached the dojo. He stopped in front of a two-floor building mostly made from wood. It was giving off Asian architecture vibes with windows being covered in a wooden frame and tough, translucent white paper.

Above the door was a sign that matched Lionel's dojo's name. Isaac pocketed his phone and entered the dojo.

After entering through the doors, he saw a sign that told him to take his shoes off. He did as instructed and put them next to the other shoes.

He stepped deeper into the dojo and felt the hard wooden floor underneath his feet. Then, he saw over ten young boys and girls punching the air with sweatdrops trailing down their youthful faces.

In front of them was a middle-aged man who had his hands folded behind his back. He was wearing a similar outfit to the boys and girls, a white-colored Gi.

A black-colored belt was wrapped around his waist, while most of the younglings had white-colored and few had yellow.

"Excuse me." Isaac was brought out of his state of stupor. He saw an adorable-looking girl wearing the white-colored Gi with a brown belt holding a clipboard.

"Are you here to register?" She asked while showing a small smile.

"Ah, no, I am here to meet Lionel," Isaac replied.

"Ah!" She exclaimed and nodded, "Lionel is currently on the second floor. Please follow after me."

Isaac nodded and walked behind her. While walking, she decided to ask.

"Who are you?" She asked after not remembering seeing anyone like him before.

"Isaac, and you?"

"Ava." She put her hand forward, and Isaac shook it.

Then, Ava asked, "What is your relationship with Lionel? I have only seen his delinquent friends coming to visit him."

Her face was slightly grim after mentioning the delinquents.

"His friend," Isaac replied.

Ava sighed in relief and nodded, "Good… I am worried about his friends. They always seem to be thinking about evil things!"

Her fists clenched as she thought Lionel might be corrupted by those evildoers.

"Eh?" Isaac's mouth twitched as he asked, "What about Lionel?"

"What about him?" She asked curiously while blinking.

"How come Lionel's image is different in your mind?" Isaac asked out of curiosity. If he remembered correctly, it was precisely him who was the most delinquent-like.

Ava looked confused as she tilted her head, "Well, he is a good person and nothing like those delinquents!"

Isaac almost roared in laughter but managed to muffle them and nod instead. He didn't think Lionel was a bad person, but he could become very heated.

One time, someone pushed Marvin down the stairs, and Lionel heard about it. Then, he went to meet that person and broke both of his legs in front of the entire school.

He was lucky that he was underage back then.

Ava stepped up the stairs and quickly followed after Isaac. Then, they reached the top and saw another wide-open space with several doors leading to private training rooms.

However, currently, two men wearing white-colored Gi's were seated on the wooden floor in the middle of the wide-open space.

Both of them had black-colored belts.

Lionel's eyes were closed, with his blond hair fluttering around him. Then, he slowly opened his eyes. He looked somewhat handsome with sharp eyebrows, athletic built, and a well-defined jawline.

Opposite of him was his teacher named Zane. He was a middle-aged man with a thick beard and sideburns. The strands of his dark brown hair overlapped his eyes.

Then, both of them nodded and stood up. They moved into their fighting stances.

Zane had his center of gravity low with his front feet placed before him. Then, his arms were placed next to his waist.

Lionel's toes were slightly curved down with his back straight. Their stances seemed the polar opposite.

"Ha!" Zane was the first one to make his move. He stepped forth and sent a rotational punch.

Lionel quickly moved as well and deflected Zane's punch with the side of his fist. Then, he took a quick front step and threw a swift uppercut.

Zane had already placed his hand below him and managed to grab Lionel's punch before it could prove problematic for him. Then, he tried to sweep Lionel's legs under him.

But Lionel was prepared. He raised his leg, then did a strikingly fast front kick.

Zane moved his hands in front and crossed his arms. Then, the kick landed, and it didn't do any damage because he had already rooted his feet to the ground and stabilized his stance.
