The days went by, and it was already Saturday night, with less than 24 hours before the next battle against God Zephyros' Avatar commenced.
Currently, Isaac was standing in the middle of the somewhat deserted terminal. After the passengers had departed from their planes, they grabbed their bags and left the airport.
And the ones entering the planes had left some time ago, making the terminal eerily quiet. Then, a soft wind breezed past Isaac, and footsteps echoed throughout the airport.
Tap… Tap…
His mouth curved into a soft smile as he saw a black-haired girl walking down the stairs with a bag in her hand.
After seeing the white-haired youth dressed in winter clothing, she smiled and unknowingly accelerated her pace. Two middle-aged individuals saw the scene at the top of the stairs and sighed in unison.
The terminal wasn't completely empty, and a few hormone-filled teenagers became lovestruck after seeing the adorable black-haired girl walking with her beautiful black hair swaying behind her.
"Isaac!" Then, she dropped her back and buried her face in the white-haired youth's chest, causing the teenagers to grit their teeth in envy.
Isaac rubbed her soft black hair and said, "Welcome back."
Luna smiled and raised her head enough to see Isaac's gray eyes. Slowly, their faces got closer, and soon the lips were connected.
Her father, Sin, pulled up his sleeves but was stopped by his wife before he could cause any chaos.
After their lips were separated, they sat on nearby benches and continued their talk. At first, most of their talks circled around what she did in Brightstar, then it came back to White Online.
"What are you planning to do?" Isaac asked her.
"Mmm…" Luna tapped her chin and then smiled, "I have to catch up to do. So, I will focus on leveling up in White Online."
Isaac nodded.
"What level are you now?" In return, she asked a question. Luna wasn't aware of how well he was doing.
He wryly smiled and replied, "99."
He reached level 99 today and tried to get the legendary level 100, which was apparently the first significant milestone. The Players who'd reached it said that difference between level 100 and level 99 players was immense.
"Wha—" Luna's eyes bulged out. She thought that she had misheard it at first, and afterward, she was utterly amazed.
Isaac was getting more popular with each passing day. In the eyes of many, he was already a pro player, but that was only around the Stronglord player base. The world was a big place, and South Continent was said to be the weakest one out of all the Continents.
There was a reason for it. Every other Continent managed to defeat the Avatar on their first try, while South Continent lost.
That caused many to mock them, and all South Continent players wanted to prove them wrong.
They talked for half an hour before having to separate. They shared another passionate kiss. Then, Isaac left the airport, called for a taxi, and returned to his home.
…
"Let's see…" Isaac rummaged through his items and soon found what he was looking for. It was a small pearl-like item.
It was a Resurrection Pearl. He managed to find one, but it wasn't easy. There were several other players, and after the pearl appeared out of thin air, it was a pure bloodbath.
ᰍaꪧda ᱅o᱇ꫀl Players died left and right. In the end, Isaac was the one who managed to escape with the Resurrection Pearl, but his HP was reduced to zero, and he had to use White Death.
The rumors of him possessing the Resurrection Pearl came to light. It was caused by the jealous players who died in the bloodbath, which forced Isaac to stay hidden for the time being.
He was still being hunted, but Isaac was confident enough to survive for now.
"Interface." Isaac sat down on his creaking bed and glanced at his newfound stats.

Isaac also increased his mastery in Marksman of Space and reached Lv3 in Good Precision after having 300 Stats on Precision.
Then, he stored the Resurrection Pearl in his inventory and closed the interface.
He rolled over the bed and lit up the gas lamp. Soon, the room was dyed in warm honey-like colors. Isaac stood up and moved the draped curtains out of the way.
The sky was dim, and the sun had disappeared. It was still over half a day before the battle commenced.
The upcoming battle ended up being more difficult than they expected. King Jonathan and Queen Diana couldn't participate. They understood that they would have to halt their leveling speed if they wanted to.
The level limit for Forest of Unknown was 100.
That made Isaac's and Darth's roles very important. They would be the two highest-leveled players in the battle, and they have to be the leaders of the upcoming fight.
Ding! Ding!
Isaac received messages, and most of them came from Darth, while a few were from Luna, who entered the game first time in a few weeks.
He quickly replied to Luna and began talking with Darth. They came to a mutual agreement that they would go to the battle site early.
Isaac closed the curtains, went to the desk, killed the light, and left the house.
After walking for close to ten minutes, his speed had significantly increased, allowing him to cross distances fairly quickly.
That was as expected, and everyone had begun to understand that they didn't really need Carriages anymore. The number of players using Carriage's had been diminished, but not enough.
It was only a matter of time before no one used them.
Soon, Isaac reached the realm portals. He paid the amount and received the purple ticket. Then, he stepped inside the portal and soon saw the dark forest circling around him.
