In the real world.
Isaac slowly opened his eyes and saw a familiar sight of the visor covering his vision.
He moved his right arm and tapped the button on the side of the headgear.
Instantly, the blue skinsuit was sucked inside the headgear.
When he was moving his limbs, he felt much more refreshed than before.
''Ah…'' He sat up and moved his head around, trying to feel his neck muscles and previous places which usually ached after wearing Bronze VR Helmet, but he didn't feel any of that pain anymore.
He took off the headgear and stuffed it inside the black box, which he hid inside the wardrobe.
Once he closed the doors of the wardrobe, he remembered where he was currently.
The spacious room around him looked way too large for someone like him.
It was like he was living in a house all by himself.
''Well… At least it's peaceful.'' Isaac thought aloud while looking around the room.
Back in Snowstar, he could rarely spend time alone, but here, he has all the time in the world.
He walked to the wooden door that was made of the finest wood available.
Looking at the door in front of him, he could already feel its luxuriousness and how expensive it was.
He touched the metallic door handle and slowly opened the door.
In front of him, the fancy corridor became visible; the walls were in the color of a reddish hue, and a long carpet on the floor reached from the other end of the corridor to another end.
He left the room and walked straight towards the stairway, but then…
*Bam*
His footsteps came to a halt as he heard something above him.
He raised his head and saw the ceiling, ''What was that noise?''
He heard something from the fourth floor and debated whether he should go check it out, but the noise returned again.
*Bam*
He thought he heard someone hitting a window.
Isaac frowned, and instead of going downstairs, he went to the upstairs, towards the fourth floor.
Once he reached the fourth floor, he looked around him but saw all the doors being closed.
But then, he remembered where Malcolm's office was located, and he planned to go there first, but then the sound returned.
*Bam*
Isaac once again raised his head and was sure that the sound didn't come from the fourth floor, instead from the attic!
''Weird…'' He looked around the corridor, trying to find a way to the attic, and soon he found another staircase, which was much smaller than the stairs which led to the other floors.
Isaac walked down the long corridors, with paintings and different kinds of vases next to the walls.
Once he reached the staircase, which was made from wood, he saw a wooden door at the top, which seemed to be leading to the attic.
*Creak*
His first step caused an obvious sound of the floor creaking.
The staircase looked very old and something that hadn't been used for decades.
He wasn't entirely sure whether it could hold his weight, but he pushed his luck and quickly rushed to the wooden door, leaving a sound trail behind.
Once he reached the wooden door, he touched the doorknob and twisted it, which was rather tricky because it felt like he was trying to open a tightly shut soda bottle.
*Creak*
Barely, the door opened, and Isaac managed to enter the attic.
''Ugh!'' Isaac covered his nose and smelled the scent of dust in the air.
Once he opened his eyes, he saw a dusty attic with boxes littering the ground.
Some of the boxes were open, which showed old clothes and paintings with frames that seemed worn out.
The layer of dust was so thick that Isaac couldn't even see the color of the boxes.
''Ugh…'' He turned around and was about to leave the attic, but the noise returned.
*Bam*
This time, it was much louder.
Isaac turned around, and on the other side of the attic, a window was located.
He decided to go find out what the reason was for the sound.
He quickly walked past the dusty boxes and reached the window that was tightly shut.
Isaac used his sleeve and wiped out the dust from the window frame so it was easier to open it.
The window was locked tight, but there was a key already in the keyhole, which allowed Isaac to open the window fairly easily.
He twisted the key and watched how the window slowly opened.
The cold wind brushed past his face and sent the dust flying.
The attic instantly became very dusty, and the visibility became very poor.
Isaac leaned closer and looked outside the window, wondering where the noise came from, but then…
*BAM!*
Something quick crashed onto his face, which made him fall down on his buttocks.
''Oww!'' He cried out in pain and had to rub his aching head, which crashed onto the box that was right behind him.
''What was that…'' Isaac slowly opened his eyes and could barely see in front of him, but when he turned around, he came face-to-face with a snowy owl!
The snowy owl's round eyes were gazing at Isaac's beautiful gray eyes.
''What the…'' Isaac quickly retreated but crashed into the wall that was right behind him, which earned another cry of pain from him.
''Oww…'' He rubbed his back while slowly opening his eyes and saw the snowy owl pecking at his feet.
''Weird… Am I lucky or unlucky to meet two snowy owls in a span of 24 hours?'' Isaac's pain soon subdued, and he could finally concentrate on the beautiful snowy owl.
The snowy owl stopped moving and stood like a statue.
Isaac stretched his hand forwards and touched the soft fur, and surprisingly, the snowy owl allowed it.
''Wait…'' Isaac frowned and looked at the snowy owl's feathers.
He barely remembered it, but the snow owl he met at the Snowstar had weird blue feathers, which was quite an uncommon trait.
But, the snowy owl that crashed onto him had exactly similar blue feathers, with precisely at the same spots!
''Are you… The one from Snowstar?'' Isaac asked with a surprise, he didn't except for an answer, but he got one!
The snowy owl surprisingly started nodding.
