''Swornword... I thought I would never return there...'' Isaac was about to open the front door, but then he remembered.
''Right...'' He opened the Interface one more time and took a pearl from his Inventory; it was Teleportation Pearl.
''Why waste time when I can use this... I have fallen behind others, but now, it's time to catch them.'' Isaac smiled as he said, ''Swornword Village.''
The pearl started glowing on a beautiful greenish hue, and soon the glow covered his figure.
Soon, the glow disappeared, and Isaac was also gone from the house.
...
Isaac opened his eyes slowly after the glow disappeared, and he saw himself standing in the middle of Village Square, belonging to Swornword Village.
He put the Pearl back to the Inventory and looked around the Square, and no one seemed surprised to see him suddenly appearing.
Except, Players.
They saw his Lizard Scale Armor, which is impossible to have at level 10.
Rarely any Top Players return to the Starting Village because it is a waste of time.
Seeing his fancy getup, there were some who wanted to hug his thigh and get him to help them to reach a high level, and some... Wanted to rob his items and gain a massive advantage over others.
But, they aren't foolish enough to believe that they can defeat someone with the level of 20.
It needed to be planned very carefully and thoroughly.
Around a small table, around 20 meters away from Isaac.
Five robed figures eyed Isaac with greedy gazes and started murmuring with each other.
Who knows what they were planning.
''Interface,'' Isaac said simply and opened the map.
The red dot was located in a place where he didn't expect it. In Village Chief's house.
''How should I get there...'' Isaac looked towards the largest building in the village and saw the two Guards, and he recognized them.
One of them was the one who cut one of the players in half without any effort.
They were guarding the gates of the Village Chief's house with stoic looks. None of the Players dared to go even close to them because the Guards stare made them both fearful and pressured.
Isaac having no other plan, decided to go talk to them.
As he started walking towards the guards, both NPCs and Players around the Village Square looked at him with questioning looks, wondering why he was going towards Village Chief's house.
The Guards became wary and grabbed their weapons tighter. Seeing the armor the individual had, they knew he wasn't a push-over like others in the village.
''Excuse me, can I visit Village Chief?'' Isaac asked politely, which didn't reduce the wariness of the Guards.
''What is the purpose of your visit?'' The first Guard asked with his hand on the sword's hilt.
''I have a Quest.'' Isaac pressed a few buttons in front of him and opened the Quest Interface, and swung it around with a wave of his hand, so the Guards could see it.
The Guards leaned slightly and saw the texts on the Quest.
The first Guard didn't seem impressed at first, but then he remembered the orders of the Village Chief.
'If someone with Marksman Class Quest comes... Let him enter and treat him with respect.' His words echoed in the Guard's mind as he slowly widened his eyes in shock.
The second Guard wasn't there when the Village Chief said those words; that's why he had an unmistakable frown on his face.
''You may enter.'' The first Guard suddenly said, which came as a surprise for both Isaac and the second Guard.
''Why?'' The second Guard whispered and looked warily towards the white-haired young man.
''Village Chief's orders.'' He replied and stepped to the side as the gates opened behind him.
The second Guard looked shocked at first before he also nodded and stepped to the side.
Under shocked looks of both Players and NPCs, Isaac entered the Village Chief's house without any hiccups.
Entering through the front doors, a corridor with a length of 20 meters appeared in front of him. The walls were the color of red with a shade of brown. There was also different painting on the walls after every 1 meter or so.
Isaac looked towards the end of the corridor, where a door with another guard was located.
The Guard was wearing a heavy-looking armor with his hand on the sword's tilt.
Isaac slowly started walking towards the guard but suddenly came to a step after feeling something weird underneath his feet.
Looking at the floor, he tilted his head with imaginary question marks popping above his head. For some reason, the floor was made of grass, very soft grass.
Everything else was wooden, but the floor was definitely one of the weirdest things he had seen so far.
He crouched so he could feel the floor better. He used his fingers to feel the texture of the grass, and since he had never had a chance to feel it in real life, he didn't know whether the feeling was real or not but knowing the realism of White Online, he expected it to feel real.
Ignoring the grass, for now, he stood up and approached the Guard, who took his hand away from the sword's hilt and opened the doors with one simple motion.
Isaac did a small nod, and surprisingly, the Guard nodded as well, but it was a much deeper nod with hidden meaning.
After entering the room, he saw surprisingly a chandelier with blue crystals hanging from it.
It was not all; there were also over four bookshelves, with hundred books each, easily the largest book collection he has seen one person having.
The room itself was quite comfy, with a large table in the middle and a leather couch, some meters away from the fireplace.
The floor, this time, was wooden with a comfy carpet made of wolf fur.
Isaac noticed that this building didn't have a futuristic look like Bella's; instead very 1800s.
*Creak*
He quickly snapped his head towards the direction of the noise and saw one of the doors opening.
The fireplace started burning hotter, with flames increasing in intensity and in height.
