Richard sat down on his chair and saw Isaac looking at the words on the wall in shock and confusion.
He scratched his head and said, ''Isaac, what was the purpose of your visit?''
Isaac didn't answer that question. Instead, he pointed at the wall and asked, ''Fountain of Life... Why are you looking for it?''
Richard averted his gaze and didn't anyone want to know the real reason because it might remove his trustworthy reputation of being Chief Doctor and might make Isaac think that he was crazy.
''It's nothing; I just read about it in the book I found.'' Richard grabbed a book from the bookshelf and showed it to Isaac.
Isaac took the book and was surprised to see familiar text.
[Wickedly Wonderful - Tale of Baba Yaga]
It was exactly the same book he found in the abandoned hospital.
He turned pages until he found a page which talked about Fountain of Life, it has said to be able to give immortality for whoever drinks it.
Isaac turned his gaze away from the book and looked at Richard, ''Why did you write that you wanted to find it?''
Richard shook his head and arranged the papers on the desk, ''You mistook the meaning of the words.''
Isaac frowned and looked at the words one more time, 'WI... What does that mean?'
''Anyway, why have you come? Your parents don't seem to be with you.'' Richard put the papers to the side, and now the desk was clean, with only a monitor of the computer on it.
Luna slowly sat down on a chair and heaved a sigh after the exhausting walk.
Isaac still thought that Richard was hiding something, but he didn't connect it with White Online, so without further ado, he sat down on the chair.
''I might have a... Illness, which might have been missed in the previous tests.'' Isaac said seriously.
Richard looked surprised, ''Are you sure? What are the symptoms?''
Luna looked at Isaac in surprise and worry, ''A-Are you okay?''
Isaac tapped the armrest and said, ''I am not sure if it is an illness; since young, I haven't been able to increase my strength, no matter what I do.''
Richard sighed and had heard about Isaac's condition a long time ago.
''Isaac, I know you are frustrated, but there is nothing wrong with your body.''
Isaac sighed and asked, ''Can we do a test, at least?''
Richard tapped the wooden desk couple of times; soon, he opened the computer and started scrolling down the files.
''I think we can do that... But, like I said, your perfect is in great health.'' Richard looked around the files and saw that room where he could do X-Ray was available.
He stood up and said, ''We can do an X-Ray, if that is fine with you.''
Isaac nodded and stood up from the chair; he looked at Luan and saw her having some difficulty standing up.
Luna soon saw a frail-looking hand, which belonged to Isaac.
She smiled and grabbed it.
Isaac helped her to stand, and soon, both of them followed behind Richard towards the X-Ray room.
It didn't take long for them to reach it, and once the door to the room was opened, there was another door, which leads to the machine, which is used to look at the results and where they can monitor the patient's vitals.
Richard and Luna entered another separate room while Isaac went to the machine.
It was a round-like object, and he needed to lie down to the metallic bed, which would be pushed inside the machine.
He looked towards the window, which leads to the separate room; he saw Richard giving thumbs up, signaling that it was alright to lie down.
Isaac nodded and lied down on the metallic bed. It soon got pushed inside the machine, and Isaac only saw white walls of the machine and bright light coming right in front of his eyes.
In a separate room.
Luna was curiously looking at the screens while Richard pressed a blue button and said, ''Isaac, you know what you need to do. Stay still and ignore the loud banging sound.''
Isaac heard Richard's voice coming from the speakers; he gave small thumbs up and kept looking at the bright light.
Richard looked around the desk and pressed a red button, and instantly the screens turned on, and the screen, where it showed Isaac's vitals, were lit up.
''This is Isaac's vitals.'' Richard tapped the screen, which had greenish lines going up and down in a rhythmic manner.
''Ohhh, similar to mine.'' Luna nodded with understanding.
''That's right, as you can see, Isaac's vitals are perfect,'' Richard said and pressed another button, which started the machine.
Inside the machine.
*Bang*
*Bang*
*Bang*
Isaac heard a loud banging sound, which closely resembled the sound of a gunshot, which he remembered from White Online; it is a sound he is very familiar with.
That's why he didn't flinch, didn't move, didn't even blink.
Richard looked outside the window and saw Isaac staying perfectly still; he turned his head towards other screens and looked at everything closely.
''Hmm, what's that,'' Luna asked while pointing at the screen, which showed the outline of Isaac's skeleton.
Richard looked at the screen, which is usually useless and only shows Isaac's skeleton, but this time, it showed something very interesting.
There were two dots in the color of white, located on where Isaac's heart is supposed to be and around his brain, but the dots were very small, barely noticeable.
''Hmm...'' Richard struck the side of the monitor, thinking that it might be broken, ''It's broken, I need to call engineers to fix it.''
''Oh.'' Luna nodded but still kept glancing at the screen, or more precisely, towards the white dots.
Ten minutes later.
The metallic bed was pulled away from the machine, and perfectly fine-looking Isaac appeared, with a tinge of red around his rims, which came from watching at the bright light too long.
He stood up from the bed and entered another room.
He was instantly greeted by Luna, ''Welcome back!'' Her bright blue eyes gazed at Isaac with a sweet smile.
Isaac nodded and looked at Richard, who was printing the results.
''How was it?'' He asked and saw Richard taking the results from the printer and gave them to Isaac.
Isaac looked at the papers, and it only showed his body being in perfect health, but he didn't see the photo of his skeleton anywhere, ''Where is...''
Before he could ask, Richard interrupted, ''That monitor seemed broken, so, unfortunately, you can't receive those pictures, but they aren't needed anyway...'' He stood up and grabbed his papers from the desk, ''As you can see, your body is in perfect health.''
Isaac sighed and nodded, 'Maybe I was mistaken....'
