"Okay, let's go for it. I feel like it would be a very interesting project."

Aiden said in the end after finally coming to a decision. Wade smiled hearing that, thinking that the troubles of finding a good script were finally over but he didn't get lost in his emotions and opened his mouth.

"I think we should audition for the main lead. The studio is Black Line Cinema and from what an employee there told me, they are looking for actors who could look young as the main character starts off as a college student."

"Kind of like in the same wavelength as [30 days of Happiness]." Aiden replied, tapping the table.

"Yeah, but it might be hard to get the lead role. You might fit the bill but you do know there's too many requirements."

Aiden sighed, having fully accustomed to different requirements of different studios. It was hard for an actor to keep getting the lead role in Hollywood but he didn't mind it too much.

A role was a role. If the role has substance, he doesn't mind doing it no matter how big or small it is.

"We will know after doing the audition." Aiden said. "If I can't get the lead role, let's try out for a supporting role. The story has good characters."

"Yeah, we would need to do that."

Wade wanted Aiden to get the lead role as like that, people would slowly get more used to him being the lead in the movie and if [Disconnected] worked on the box office, then Aiden would start being seen as a reliable box office actor.

"So, I would try to get you to audition as soon as possible. Two weeks should be enough for you to prepare for it." Wade smiled, thinking that he finally had some progress. If Aiden had rejected this movie, then he wouldn't know what would impress him. "Anyway, you still want to go over the second project I got?"

"Yeah obviously." Aiden quickly replied, glancing over at the second project that was kept in the corner of the table. "I am very curious about it."

"It's actually a very interesting project."

"More than [Disconnected]?"

"Yeah, [Disconnected] relies more on the execution of the plot and characters as the premise is something used a lot but this one's premise is something that would attract the audience from the start."

Aiden grew more curious about the project after hearing about it. A project whose premise was something that would attract the audience? Something like that was rare in this age where most of the things have already been done.

Unable to contain his curiosity, Aiden picked up the second document and opened it. Reading out the name of the project, he looked at Wade.

"[Sherlock of the Shadows]." Aiden said, then asked. "Is it a detective movie?"

"A series to be exact. Sherlock is just to represent a detective. The story is completely different and unique. It's a mix of different genres."

Aiden nodded, turning up the page of the synopsis and reading the main premise of it.

'A detective who could see ghosts.'

He felt like it was the most interesting thing about the synopsis. The main character was a detective but unlike the traditional detective who would rely on wits and clues, he was someone who relied on his ability to see and talk to ghosts.

The premise which the synopsis was based on was indeed pretty interesting.

It was mixing genres like investigative drama, mystery and crime to supernatural horror. Reading the synopsis, Aiden felt like it was a series that would be fun to watch.

"Which channel would it come on? IBC?" Aiden raised his head to look at Wade.

"No, it's going to be straight on streaming. It's a Zetflix original series that they are making. As you read, the main character is a young detective with strange powers."

"Didn't Zetflix shows lagging a lot these days? A lot of those aren't working. They are just relying on old series and renewing them for next season."

The streaming scene all over the world was pretty complex. Zetflix was a leading platform but in recent times, the monopoly of it had ended and reliance on quantity over quality had hit them hard.

With other platforms like Dream + and Neo Prime coming up with different and interesting series and movies, Zetflix can't survive with bad teenage rom coms.

Aiden recalled reading a news article about it in which it was written that Zetflix's rom coms won't work because most of the teenagers from that time had grown up and new stuff isn't appealing anymore.

Maybe [Sherlock of the Shadows] was a way of them trying out something new.

"They are lagging a lot. That's why, this new series. The creative executives there are very hopeful for this project and as it's a series and not a theatre movie, they don't mind working with a less known actor. In the end, people look at the content more on streaming."

"So, we have a good enough chance. I do really like the main character."

Aiden felt like there was something common between him and the main lead of [Sherlock of the Shadows]. Both of them see something that other people can't.

He could see his system and the main character could see ghosts.

"Do you really like it?" Wade asked to confirm.

"The synopsis is very interesting and if I'm honest, it makes me take a break from the realistic romance and drama genre. If I got [Disconnected], it would be my second movie in that genre and then, with this, I could try something new that is good for my filmography."

"True. This type of stuff usually either falls hard or becomes very big."

Wade said but then suddenly, he realised a big problem if Aiden was actually going for both the projects.

Overwork.

"Wait, won't you be overworked with two acting projects at the same time and the album coming up? We can't postpone the album."

When Wade said that, Aiden also realised the problem.

It was December currently and the album was going to come out in March. His book was also releasing next month and with two acting projects on top of it, it was going to be almost impossible.

Even if he could shoot two projects one by one quickly, he won't be able to handle an entire album out of nowhere. Something would surely take a hit like that.

"What should we do then?" Aiden asked.

"We could just go for one of the projects." Wade said, squinting his eyes a little at both the synopsis but Aiden quickly shook his head.

"No, I like both of them. It would be hard to lose out on any of them. I don't want to regret it later."

Aiden certainly didn't know if these projects would be a hit or not, but he did want to experience acting in them. Both of them looked very interesting to him and he wanted to be a part of their worlds.

"That would be difficult."

Wade made a frowning expression, trying to think of a solution. After some seconds, an idea struck his mind.

"Let me try to see the shooting dates and other things for both the projects. Both of them are still in pre-production, so we never know."

"Okay."

Wade took out his phone and dialled some numbers. Aiden was sure that he was talking to his contacts in Zetflix and Black Line Cinema. It was only after five minutes that he put down the phone and stared at Aiden.

"They said that it's not clear for [Shadow of the Sherlock]. As it's an ambitious project, they would take at least two months to complete pre production. I found out that the script isn't completed yet, while [Disconnected] should start shooting at the end of Jan. They are looking for a release date of around May-June."

Aiden smiled hearing that.

"Then isn't it good for us? I could first finish up [Disconnected] and the album. By the time it would be released, [Disconnected] would finish shooting and I could start with [Sherlock of the Shadows]."

"No, it's still going to be extremely difficult. It's still going from one project to another. Even doing two things at the same time. You are going to get exhausted."

Aiden sighed after hearing that.

He knew that it would be difficult but he can't do anything else about the timings. As he didn't want to miss out on a chance on the acting projects, he could just try his best on handling all the projects at the same time.

There was no other way in his mind.

"Wade, I know it's going to be hard but I really want to do it."

Aiden looked at him with determined eyes. He wasn't one to run away from hardships and anyway, it was only a matter of three four months.

He could handle that.

"Okay, let's go with that."

In the end, Wade agreed. Knowing Aiden's stubborn nature, it was better to agree and try to find a way to go through all this.

In the first place, both the acting projects weren't confirmed.

"Let's first get an audition for [Disconnected]. The Zetflix series would come later anyway. It's already close to Christmas too. We are going to be very busy after that."

Wade said and took a deep breath.

The New year was about to start and it seemed like Aiden already had a long lineup of projects ready.

Just the question was whether these projects would be able to become a hit or not.
