Chapter 80: School Festival Part 5
After Razé and Adis finished with the class inspection, they returned to their own classroom to start their shift.
Razé stood at the door wearing a light blue maid outfit with a sheep motif and was greeting their next customer. “Welco-” She couldn’t finish her word when she saw the guests.
Bonalt: “It’s been a while.”
Ducard: “Hi.”
Victor: “Oh- Uhm- Ah- I’m here!”
She just blinked in surprise when she saw Bonalt and Ducard bowed slightly while Victor was acting suspiciously. Well, she did guess that they would come visit her. And of course, she was really happy and grateful that her comrades had come. But even with that in mind, she had to stay vigilant today so her confusion was stronger than her joy.
Didn’t I send two tickets only…?
She wondered why the number of visitors were more than what she had expected. She had been worried about the entrance security after seeing Olusanya in the academy earlier. It never crossed her mind that her subordinate would go the extra mile to obtain the limited invitation ticket.
“Surprised?” Ducard asked with a smug look. He had purposely pushed Victor to stand in front, but Victor was too anxious and was the last to greet her.
Razé: “Hmm. Yeah, I’m a bit surprised… But anyway, welcome. Thank you for coming today.”
She still couldn’t guess how the three of them managed to come with two tickets. Then she recalled that Victor Ochse Terrier was an aristocrat. She assumed maybe he had come to visit an acquaintance. She was no longer anxious after coming to this conclusion, and welcomed the three visitors with a smile.
“!” Victor could hardly breathe when he saw her smile. Bonalt and Ducard ignored him and followed Razé into the classroom.
“The decoration is very impressive,” Bonalt said after seeing the chairs were made of some light material that looked like clouds and were floating using magic.
“Isn’t it? Well, it is Centrior after all.” Razé laughed and passed the menu to them after they had sat down. “I didn’t expect that Victor-san would be here too. I hope you will enjoy the festival.”
She normally called him Corporal Terrier. Victor was shocked to hear his name.
Razé: “Victor-san?”
Ducard: “Hmm, he’s brain is going offline for a while. He’s been looking forward to meet the student-version you.”
Bonalt: “He was so excited when he received a ticket from Habermas-sama.”
After hearing their explanation, Razé suddenly felt embarrassed for wearing maid outfits and mixing among the students.
She originally thought that it was normal since all her classmates were wearing the same outfit too. But when she thought about it carefully, the clothes and headband were too cute, making her inwardly cringing when she recalled her status in the military.
Bonalt: “You look good in any outfit.”
His frank remarks were very different from what Olusanya had said earlier. It made Razé felt uneasy. “… Flattery will get you nowhere. By the way, my recommendation is this one.” She changed the topic to hide her embarrassment and pointed to the cute-looking parfait on the menu.
“I want this parfait!!” Victor replied cheerfully.

Victor finished his parfait and after hanging out at the café for a while, the three men got up from their seats to leave. Razé walked with them to send them out.
Bonalt: “It was delicious.”
Razé: “What’s your plan after this?”
Bonalt: “We plan to look around until the festival is over.”
Razé: “Okay. Thanks for coming today.”
It would be a while until they could meet again. Razé send them out the corridor and waved her hand.
Adis, who was working the same shift with Razé, walked up to her. “I’m glad your friends managed to come.”
Razé: “You noticed them?”
Adis: “Yeah. They were following us…”
Razé was surprised when she realized that Adis could recognize her subordinates.
Razé: “I’m sorry. I think they were just curious because you look like the Prime Minister.”
Adis: “Hmm. I think they had different reason.”
Razé: “?”
Adis knew they were not on the same wavelength, and decided to change the topic. “You have quite a number of friends visiting you today.”
Razé: “Yeah. I was surprised too.”
The festival will be over in an hour and a half. She was quite tired after seeing a few familiar faces among the aristocrats who came to visit today. They were the people that she had met when she was working as a spy for the Military Intelligent Department. But meeting with her subordinates made her relaxed a little.
They said Victor got the ticket from Sergio-san… She knew that Sergio-san would be in the academy today and wondered if he would come to visit her.
But he’s the one who made the wristband, so he must be busy with the monitoring… Though it seems there’s no problem so far. Razé looked at the people walking around the corridor.
Well, the Knights are the on in charge of security this time. The military don’t have to get involve anyway.
Basically, Razé was the trump card and would only have to make a move openly in this academy as the last resort. Besides, it was the Knights and teachers’ duty to protect the academy. It was not her responsibility alone but she was unaware about it.
Adis: “By the way…”
Razé: “Yes?”
Adis: “Is that person your friend too?”
Razé turned towards the direction pointed by Adis. She held her breath after seeing the person standing outside the window.
“Hi～♡”
Razé had never seen that face before but she knew the person. It was the intruder from Magenda that had infiltrated the academy in the tournament last year. The woman waved her hand with a coquettish expression on her face.
“It’s not good to get too used to peaceful life, my puppy.”
The light in Razé’s eyes disappeared as she felt a shudder run through her body.
