Akira looked at him with a radiant glow in her eyes as she said, "Of course. That is what I want as well. You came so far on your own, and considering how weak the Forgotten Land has become over the years, you have achieved so much at such a young age. You must have been hailed as a heavenly genius over there, but here the world is different. Our world isn't limited by a barrier because of which you will meet cultivators or beasts more powerful than you can ever imagine."

Damien nodded with a heavy sigh, "Yeah...I already experienced it firsthand after miserably getting defeated by one of them."

Akira pulled together her brows as she lifted Damien's chin by her finger, "Don't be disheartened. You have the strong blood of your father, and I am sure with my help, you will soon reach a level where you will surpass your father."

Damien smiled, feeling relieved that a powerhouse like her was going to help him personally. And since she also possessed the lightning element just like him, he had no doubt he could fine-tune his ability to use his lightning arts with her guidance.

"Hmph, no matter how much this woman is going to help, she surely can't beat what this goddess did for this mortal," Luna said with a pinched expression.

Damien didn't really know how to respond to Luna's quick remark, but he had to admit he wouldn't be here without Luna's help.

"Oh? Is somebody getting jealous?" Kalypso asked with a snicker.

Luna let out a petulant scoff as she said, "Why would this goddess get jealous over a mortal? I am just reminding your Master that in the end, he can only rely on me."

"There you go again, acting as if I don't exist. He is my Master. So I would be the only one who would be with him until the end, hmph," Kalypso said with a pout.

Still, they were the only ones making him stay calm and sane and guiding him at the right moments.

Seeing how understanding and helpful she was with him, Damien was already starting to feel at home in her presence because no stranger would have given him such warm treatment and made him feel like family.

"But how did you even end up over there? Who brought you there and why? I thought the Salvation had taken you away and maybe...did something bad to you," Akira said with a heavy look.

"I don't know, but...my stepfather said that a mysterious woman handed me over to him and left without saying anything else," Damien said with knitted brows and asked, "Could that woman have been my mother? I just can't think of anybody else who would do that."

Akira firmly shook her head, "It cannot be...Your mother killed your father to save her own skin. Maybe it could have been someone who took pity on you and decided to save your life by bringing you to a safe place where you could have a normal life. And even if it was really your mother, she wouldn't have the ability to cross the barrier by herself. Nobody can."

"Oh...it's strange indeed..." Damien mumbled, feeling all this quite confusing and felt hurt by the fact that his mother was so cruel to his father and to him.

"Don't think about her and make yourself feel miserable. It is a good thing she is out of our lives and even in the first place. I will be your mother, your aunt, or anything you need me to be. I had taken care of you since you were born, and I sure as hell would do the same from now on," Akira said as she caressed his cheeks, making Damien feel that she must still think of him as her little nephew.

However, Damien only felt glad realizing this since he could feel how much she loved him. He wouldn't even be surprised if she considered him as her own son.

Akira rubbed his hands gently as she said, "I know maybe you might find it strange, but can you call me 'Aunt' whenever we are alone? Akira is my real name, but I told you to call me that before since it wouldn't have made sense to you. But you can call me whatever you like. I don't want to make it hard for you."

"Aunt...I am fine calling you like this," Damien said with a smile, and he didn't feel strange since he was already feeling comfortable around her.

Akira's lips arched into an entrancing smile as she looked at him with a moving expression, "My beautiful boy..." Akira said as she caressed his hair and hugged his face against her chest with a relieved expression.

"Oh...." Damien didn't expect her to hug him again out of nowhere and had an awkward look since his face was planted right between her bountiful breasts. He could even smell the freshness of her supple skin and didn't know if he should blame his heightened senses.

"You pervert! Why is your face getting hot from just a hug from your own aunt? Tsk..." Luna shook her head with a quick, disgusted snort as she crossed her arms.

"Don't call Master names like that. It's not his fault, but the draconic blood flowing through his veins. Right...Master?" Kalypso asked, hoping it was the case.

"Yes...yes...I would never harbor such thoughts towards her. You are the one with the wrong ideas, Luna," Damien believed that his dragon bloodline indeed changed him in the wrong areas and felt that he would have to train his self-control more since the last thing he wanted was to lose it before his own aunt.

Surely, his aunt was the most mature beauty he had ever laid eyes upon, but there were certain lines he couldn't cross, especially since she was his only remaining family.
