"Because my people deserved to know the truth. We can't fight against my father and the others if my people don't know the true reason why my father has to go down. Only when one knows what they are fighting for will their heart and soul completely be committed to it. So it was a risk I had to take," Reva said with a firm gaze and then continued in a resentment-filled tone, "Besides, they were still praying to that vile god, Yohr. I just couldn't stand it…They had no idea they were praying to the devil who treated us like resources, killing and absorbing us. It was just wrong to let them keep praying like that. So I decided to take the risk. Do you think that I made a bad move on impulse?" Reva asked with her eyebrows wrinkled.
Damien shook his head with a smile as he caressed her head, "You are a born leader, Reva. You have led your people for all these years, and I trust your judgment was right. You must know better than me. Still, I also feel that what you did was right, even if it might have been a little risky. Anyways, how about we go to the other island and get things going? We have a lot to discuss with your grandparents and the others."
Reva slightly smiled and nodded before asking with a pinch on his waist, "What about Lily and Yuria? Did you tire them out to the point they can't walk?"
Damien flashed an innocent smile as he said, "Come on. It wasn't on purpose. I just got too much into it. Plus, they liked it…just like you do too," Damien whispered beside her ear.
Reva's face turned beet red as she snorted and flew off, not wanting to look at his cheeky smile.
Damien shook his head as he also flew off, and not long after, Lily and Yuria had recovered their energies as all of them set off to the other island.
Irene, Elor, and Marvin were sitting inside one of the camps they had put up to discuss things that were about to come, especially dealing with Ruthren and the others' retaliation.
"They are here," Irene said with a smile as Elor and Marvin also walked out to see Damien and his women walking towards them.

The Forsaken people who were busy doing their work suddenly stopped whatever they were doing as all the men and women, both young and elderly, fixed their gazes on Damien.
They all gathered around, numbering around a few hundred. It seemed that Irene and the others had grouped up all the Forsaken people scattered around the continent.
They slowly walked towards Damien but stopped within a dozen meters away from him before slowly bending their legs as they kneeled on the ground. Some of them had tears filling their eyes, while others also had their faces brimming with complicated expressions. It seemed as if the Forsaken people had to process a lot of sad things in a short time.
"What…" Damien had a baffled look, and for a moment, he thought maybe they were simply greeting Reva, their leader, as some sort of custom?
But Reva was standing at least a meter or two on his left, and they didn't seem to be looking at her.
Irene, Elor, and Marvin also saw this sight, but they only smiled as they looked at Damien and nodded, making Damien realize that these people were indeed kneeling to him. But why suddenly?
Lily and Yuria were surprised as well, but they could guess.

"It's actually something you already did before. Killing the evil god, Yohr, and saving us from his clutches. I told them you were the one who saved us. We would have continued to be manipulated and died one by one if not for you. And this is my people's way of showing their gratitude to you. No need to stop them. Let them get it off their hearts," Reva gently said, making Damien sigh since he didn't think that he deserved their gratitude.
He only took down Yohr due to circumstances, plus Luna was the one who really killed Yohr. But still, he listened to Reva's words and stood in the same spot.
"O Savior of the Forsaken, Damien Godwin, please accept our gratitude," All of them shouted at the same time in an emotional voice as they bent their backs to give him a deep and respectful bow.
Damien felt a bit overwhelmed when all these people shouted these words at the same time. However, he could feel their intense emotions behind these words. Their pain, their sadness in having their faith broken by a god they had been worshiping since they were children.
At the same time, he could feel their relief and happiness in being liberated from the hold of the evil god who used them as mere disposable resources.
"Please…all of you rise," Damien said in a solemn tone as the Forsaken people slowly raised their heads before getting up with their backs still bent slightly forward.
Damien said as his gaze glanced over each of them, "I am flattered that all of you consider me in such high regard. But I was no savior. I am just a man trying to protect his people. But now…" Damien momentarily glanced at Reva with a smile before turning back towards the Forsaken people, "...I will make sure the Zirian Empire will rise again and become prosperous as it was in the beginning or even more. It is high time Ruthren and every corrupt Xetonians went down and anyone helping him, no matter which empire. Only once I help you all do that can I feel I am worthy of all of your gratitude and respect."
