Rise of The Anti God (Web Novel)chapter 586: olivia rong's secret

Drake had his eyes widened upon realizing that the seal really got lifted off. He then swallowed his saliva as he felt great hesitation.

"Remember…if you lie to me, then I know a million different ways to make you beg for death," Damien said in a tone that made Drake feel the chills.

"Okay…okay…the Xeton Emperor is the one who really sent me…not my family, though they were the ones who recommended me," Drake said as he timidly looked at Godnim.

Damien didn't seem surprised since he had already guessed that only Ruthren could send Drake on such a secret mission, and so he asked, "Tell me why he sent you to the Shizar Kingdom? What was so special about the girl?"

"Oh…the girl? Who said he sent me for the girl? All he told me was to simply dig a large hole under the palace, and then some formation experts that came along with me did the rest of the work, which I really have no idea what they did. I think you and your men killed them as well," Drake said with a wary expression, trying to see if Godnim would still kill him even after telling the truth.

"A hole? What the…" Damien skeptically stared into Drake's eyes, but he gulped as he nodded vigorously, "It's the truth! I swear!"

Damien narrowed his gaze and felt that Drake was probably not lying, especially when he had everything to lose here.

But he only became even more confused, wondering why Ruthren wanted him to dig a hole and that too in some remote kingdom. However, since formation masters were involved, Damien felt that something really fishy was going on here.

The Shizar Kingdom was located on the border between the Gale Empire and the Xeton Empire, and he wondered if the location had something to do with all this.

He knew Ruthren sent Drake to not let anybody know what or why he sent people there. Instead of sending his own men, he used the Forsaken members, which were expendable to him.

"Fine. I believe you, But—"

"How pathetic," Farah snorted, though inwardly, she was thinking about what Drake said about Ruthren.

"Ugh, let go! You can live for now," Damien decided to keep him alive just in case and kill him later after making sure he was not useful anymore.

He had anyway ordered Tristen to kill these two the moment the entire mansion becomes compromised.

"Hey! Get me out of here. I can really help you out there and even give you a good time," Farah said with a sultry wink, to which Damien didn't even react and said, "Tell me any dirty secret you know about Olivia Rong…something that could potentially turn her own men and people against her."

Damien knew that Farah was someone who collects dirt on everyone, so he guessed that she should have some on Olivia Rong as well.

Farah raised her eyebrows as she said with a smile, "Oh?~The empress of the Rong Empire? I didn't know you were after a powerful woman? Is that what turns you on? I wonder what your little girlfriend might have to say. But if I tell you, you will let me go, right?"

"I will think about it. But this is your only chance, and it is up to you if you want to take it or not," Damien said with a slight smirk.

Farah clicked her tongue in frustration seeing how this man wasn't playing nice. But since she had nothing to lose, she decided to gamble and said, "I have proof that Olivia Rong murdered the previous queen or, should I say, the Celestial Princess' mother."

"What?" Damien's eyes widened, but he didn't show any other reaction on the outside, though on the inward, he couldn't help but feel the urge to kill Olivia Rong right away, at least for Lily.

He always had a feeling that Olivia Rong must have done something horrible to Lily's true family, and that was why even Lily hated her so much. If a pure-hearted woman like Lily was to hate someone with all their heart, then surely that person must be at least a fiend.

"Do you have proof?" Damien asked with a fixed gaze.

"Of course, I don't consider any dirty secret solid unless I have some sort of proof. Why don't you give me my spatial ring, and I can take it out for you," Farah said with a wink.

Damien squinted his eyes and made Tristen hand over her spatial ring to him. Farah eagerly looked on, but Damien didn't give it to her. But instead, he grabbed her finger and pressed it against the ring as he said, "I can see inside the spatial ring. Now tell me what I am looking for."

Farah let out a piqued scoff before saying, "A letter."

Damien could see an envelope lying inside the spatial ring and took it out before curiously opening it.

As he read the contents, his brows raised while Farah looked at him and said, "For a woman who considers herself intelligent, she surely couldn't be dumber when hiring assassins. Who would have thought she would pass a secret letter including the method to the assassin. Oh, you are reading the decoded letter. She did at least have the brains to encrypt the letter though it was quite easy for me to crack."

Damien paid no attention to Farah's words since he had just learned that Lily's mother was poisoned by her stepmother.

"Come closer. I can let you in on another secret, though I don't have any proof behind it."

Damien furrowed his brows as Farah whispered something to him, which only made his dark pupils quiver in rage.

'Olivia…I will make you pay dearly…You will soon get what you deserve…' Damien inwardly said with a dark glint in his eyes.
