Damien felt immensely guilty since he knew Luna got struck by Yohr's attacks because she was busy protecting him, and she didn't have the energy to counter them at the same time.
Yohr sinisterly laughed, seeing that he was finally able to bring down the Ethereal One, although she was not dead, and he wasn't disappointed since he can't let her die…not yet anyway until he absorbs all her powers and takes over her place as the supreme ruler.
However, the price he just paid now to bring down Luna was a very costly one since he went all in and ended up destroying his own cultivation base to the point he was way weaker than he was before Damien came here.
But he didn't feel that disappointed since he had the hopes of recovering all his cultivation and even more after he was done absorbing whatever there was inside Damien's soul and then the Ethereal One's.
The ice storm immediately disappeared as Yohr didn't have the energy anymore to maintain it, and Damien, who regained the freedom to move and see what was ahead, was shocked to see Luna lying unconsciously under a large block of ice.
Since her body was so petite, it looked as if she could get crushed any moment and made Damien feel as if his heart would crumble any moment as well if he let her lie like that for long.
"Luna!" Damien shouted as his voice trembled, running towards where she was lying with all the energy he could gather.

Yohr said in a grim tone as Damien saw a large muscular tail smashing against his chest, sending him flying towards the other side of the cavern.
"Ugh!" Damien coughed out blood since he was too distracted by Luna's state to dodge and could only gather all his defensive energy though his ribs still ended up being fractured.
However, he was astonished that he didn't die but then thought that maybe Yohr still needed him alive.
He then felt a large tail wrapping around his body, lifting him up into the air, and saw a bloody Yohr staring at him with a cold glint in his eyes,
"What is it about you that makes someone like the Ethereal One to go as far as protecting your life at the cost of her own? You are just a mere mortal…just an ant I can crush even in my sleep…It's impossible for her to give so much importance to you. Ha…Anyway, it doesn't matter anymore. After I take your Origin Seed, everything that was hers will be mine as well hehe…" Yohr was bleeding profusely from his neck down, but the excitement in his voice showed no signs of dying down.
Damien clenched his fists while being trapped in Yohr's hold, feeling extremely resentful at Yohr for what he did to Luna but at the same time disappointed in himself for being too weak and ended up being a burden to her.
Even now, he could barely gather his ethereal energy to try and fight Yohr no matter how despairing it might be. He just refused to go down without a fight, even if it was a god he was facing.
window.pubfuturetag = window.pubfuturetag || [];window.pubfuturetag.push({unit: "64cc9e79c7059f003e4ad4b0", id: "pf-5109-1"})Yohr, for some reason, found it annoying that this mortal literally felt no fear but was instead staring at him with those resentment-filled eyes. Even if he was in a very weakened state now, his aura as a god was still present, and yet this mortal wasn't cowering before him. And these eyes reminded him of a certain someone…someone he dare not remember again.
"Let's see how long more you can look at me like that!" Yohr said in a cutting tone as his eyes flashed and his soul energy tried to invade Damien's soul plane. But at that moment, his eyes widened when a bright yet dark crimson light shot out from Damien's chest, blinding his eyes for a moment, making him let go of Damien unconsciously.
"What the fuck!"
Yohr hissed in shock and annoyance as his large body stumbled back as the light was too blinding and felt as if he momentarily got blind.
However, he quickly shook his head and recovered his vision, only to be baffled to see a rusty old sword in Damien's right hand that looked dark brown in color and quite ugly to the point he was sure he had never seen such a badly maintained sword before.
However, a dark crimson miasma was continuously emanating from this rusty brown sword that looked quite long and sharp, enough to make one feel chill through their souls.
He couldn't sense what kind of energy this crimson miasma was since there was no wisp of ethereal energy, nor could he feel any ethereal aura from it.
window.pubfuturetag = window.pubfuturetag || [];window.pubfuturetag.push({unit: "663633fa8ebf7442f0652b33", id: "pf-8817-1"})This left him dumbfounded as he realized that if this wasn't ethereal energy, then it could only mean one other thing…a sword from the deadly Nether Dimension! The dimension from which a terrifying entity that crushed gods like insects emerged from and even forced the Ethereal One to her current state. The Anti-God!
How could something from that dimension get here! Didn't the dimensional tear collapse with the death of Anti-God? Didn't the Ethereal One destroy each and every single nether being that came to this side?
Damien was shocked by the sudden appearance of Kalypso as he never thought that she would be able to manifest herself outside in such a situation and especially when he thought she wasn't in a state to exert much energy.
But he could feel the profound and dark power emanating from the Crimson Death and could feel its ancient power coursing through his veins.
It was as if he was being guarded by a strong ancient deity…that was the feeling this divine rusty old sword was giving him.
However, it was the strange feeling of being one with the sword and feeling the unique fluctuations of the nethereal energy emanating from it was what made him feel as if this sword was made for him.
He had never felt this whole and complete while wielding other swords. He literally felt as if this sword was a part of his body, while at other times, he had to force himself to feel like that.
But now, it seemed so natural and fluid that it made him feel that the Crimson Death was born to fight with him. The nethereal energy inside his ethereal core was trembling with excitement as if it had found the perfect outlet to synchronize its energy with.
Damien immediately activated his Undying Wrath as the ethereal and nethereal energy in his ethereal core mixed and churned together to form Anti-Energy and, like a river, flowing towards the Crimson Death.
