Rise of The Anti God (Web Novel)chapter 472: a servant??

"Wha...What are you talking about?" Kalypso asked in a confused tone though her voice seemed to have spirited up a bit. She could tell that Damien was not lying, but at the same time, he seemed quite serious about what he was talking about.

Luna released the aura of his Origin Seed, making Damien's aura seem suddenly boundless and heavy to the point no one would believe that his cultivation was at the Earth Ethereal Realm.

But sensing this change in his aura, Kalypso's aura flickered due to the intense surge of emotions in her soul. It was as if she had seen a ghost, and Damien could still see how the dark crimson aura around her was continuously flickering.

"Impossible...how....why do you have his Origin Seed??" Kalypso's tone was raised by a few notches, and Damien immediately started to feel her killing intent which was making him feel as if his soul might get shredded because of it any minute now.

"He gave it to me!" Damien felt that she misunderstood and quickly told her the truth, making the killing intent immediately disappear.

Damien let out a loud sigh of relief, not expecting to have almost lost his life here.

Otherwise, by now, he should have heard a lot of apologies from Luna.

"What are you thinking about me for? Hmph!" Luna suddenly scoffed as if she could guess what Damien was thinking.

Damien inwardly shook his head, thinking that Luna knew him too well after being inside him for just less than a year.

"But can you explain what you meant by saying that His Magnificence gave it to you?" Kalypso asked in a calm tone though Damien could make out the subtle impatience in her voice.

"I don't know how...but for my whole life, I always had his Origin Seed in my ethereal core. I don't know how it got there or who put it in my body. But a couple of months ago, this Origin Seed awakened in my body, and I was able to hear Anti-God's voice and how he wanted to pass down his legacy to me. After that, the last remaining wisp of his soul disappeared. I am sorry. I know he was your Master and must have meant a lot to you," Damien said in a comforting tone.

After a few moments, she asked in a calm voice, no longer sounding dull as before, "No wonder...I got that familiar feeling from you. If His Magnificence passed his legacy to you, then it means that he saw you as someone worthy to carry his power. Otherwise, no matter what, he would rather let his legacy disappear rather than pass it down to unworthy hands. I have complete faith in his decisions, which is why I would have gladly become your servant only if I didn't end up in such a helpless and useless state...sigh…"

"S-Servant? Kalypso, what are you talking about? It isn't right of me to let someone as senior as you to be my servant. My true intention in coming here was only to see if there was something here that could help me achieve whatever I am trying to do. If it was an ordinary powerful weapon, then it would have been a different case. But you are a Spirit Weapon with a soul and someone who served Anti-God. So all I wanted was to ask a favor from you but seeing that your soul is not in a condition to help me, I don't have the right to ask anything. But if you need my help, I will do everything to the best of my abilities," Damien was quite shocked when he heard that an otherworldly entity like Kalypso was willing to become his servant.

He couldn't even imagine what her true cultivation was, especially since she served under Anti-God and felt that she should have been definitely stronger than a false god.

"No need to think like that. I was the servant of His Magnificence, and since he chose you as his successor, then it means it's my duty to serve you as well, no matter the differences between us. My duty is beyond such things. Otherwise, I wouldn't be worthy enough to serve under him. But...as you said in my state I would be of no use to you. I can barely exert any power, and if I did, I would just end up destroying myself. If only I had another Spirit Artifact to use as a vessel for my soul, then I can at least later rebuild my strength by connecting with your soul. Only a body with nethereal energy like yours can nourish me back to strength, even if that would take some time. This is the only way you can help me though I don't know if you possess a Spirit Artifact or not," Kalypso said in a weary tone.

Damien felt as if he was in a pinch, but then he thought about Yuria and wondered if she could forge another Spirit Weapon.

Just use the Spirit Weapon you already have, Moonblade," Luna said casually while Damien immediately said, "What? Moonblade already has a soul! What will happen to her if Kalypso takes over her? I don't feel good about abandoning her just like that."

"Who said anything about abandoning? Have you ever taken a proper look at Moonblade's soul? Her soul is not complete, and no matter how much you train or teach her, she would never develop intelligence. I was waiting for you to find it out yourself but nevermind since things have come to this. Your girl, Yuria, after all, is still learning and new to forging Spirit Weapons. It is not like she would become a Spirit Master within a few years, though her current achievements are surely impressive. So you still want Moonblade to remain dumb?" Luna asked the obvious question, making Damien's expression contemplative.
