Rise of The Anti God (Web Novel)chapter 437: the retake plan

"So, what's the plan? I can't wait to kill that bitch first!" Kale said with gritted teeth.

Tristen sighed and said, "Patience is a virtue, brother. Your time for revenge will definitely come. I will make sure of it. But for now, we have to first take care of the things at hand, especially the Forsaken problem."

Kale closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to suppress his anger and resentment after being convinced by Tristen.

He also now felt that acting on an impulse might only create problems for himself as well, which was not what he wanted, especially when he asked himself why he would have to suffer more just because of his wife.

"We also have to find out why your wife is working for royal father. I am sure a vile woman like her wouldn't do anything without a good reason. After dealing with the Forsaken, I will try to come up with a way to find out your wife's motives."

Kale frowned and said, "You plan to sleep with her again, don't you?"

Tristen shrugged and said, "You still care, after everything she did? It's time you cut her off from your heart lest she hurts you even more. If she can even sleep with her father-in-law and brother-in-law, there is no limit to the number of men she might have already slept with."

Kale's fists trembled as he never thought about the other men she might have slept with, and this only made him feel like his veins were about to burst from anger.

Still, he decided to heed Tristen's words about cutting her off and tried to clear his mind.

"Okay...what should we do about the Forsaken first?"

"We kill them all," Tristen said with a narrowed gaze while Damien dusted his sleeves with a slight smirk on his face.

He wasn't afraid that the Forsaken would retaliate since he could always give the excuse that he tried his best to negotiate, but Prince Tristen was getting pressured by the Gale Emperor to retake the kingdom, leaving him with no other choice.

And if Drake was to die in an encounter, the Haley Family could only blame the Gale Empire though they would have their hands tied since Drake was part of the Forsaken.

Kale didn't feel anything strange and said, "Isn't that a given? How else are we going to take back the kingdom without killing them all?"

Tristen nodded, "I know, but there is a small change in your original plan. I have to first get inside and get rid of the ones controlling the barrier outside. Otherwise, we could get slaughtered if we try to rush in blind."

"How do you plan to sneak in then? If you have a way, then couldn't we all simply make a sneak attack?" Kale asked with a shrug.

"No...only a single person can sneak in, and I have a person arranged for this task. You don't have to worry about it. Also, remember the little king, his sister, and her lover, who is a servant boy, are under my protection. After everything settles down, I will have a talk with them about their kingdom," Tristen affirmed.

Kale had a blinking expression as he asked curiously, "Why are you protecting them? What happens to them should be none of our concern."

"I know. But it isn't easy to just seize back a kingdom when the people here have been ruled under the Shizar Family all this while. It's best that the little king remain unharmed so as to make things smooth as possible. Besides, we still need a puppet king in place anyway."

"Alright. What you said makes sense. So when are you planning to proceed with your plan? I have to prepare my army in the meantime," Kale said with a certain eagerness in his voice since he couldn't wait to finish this all and get closer to getting his revenge.

"Our armies should attack together. So, coordinate with the general of my army, and within two days, I will send you the message about when to attack. I guess this should be enough for formulating an attack plan in the meanwhile, right?" Tristen questioned.

But to think that I have to go see her face again, including staying with her, makes my skin crawl, "Kale said as he clenched his jaw.

"You have to endure it and don't make her feel suspicious at all. She is smarter than she looks and could be cunning too. So whatever anger or hatred you are feeling for her, you should just hold it in till the time comes. Do you understand? Otherwise, all our plans will fail, and we will get in trouble," Tristen warned in a grave tone.

Kale nodded with determined eyes, "Don't worry...I can do it...as long as I think about the day, I will get my revenge."

Tristen smiled and said, "Good. Then I will go now, and you can wait for my instructions later."

Damien left the tent along with Tristen. However, suddenly a maid ran up to Tristen and said, "Your Highness, Her Highness is asking for your presence for an urgent matter. She is waiting in her tent."

Damien knitted his brows, wondering why Farah was suddenly asking for Tristen and wondered if it was because she wanted to finish what they started since Tristen left suddenly.

Still, he didn't think too much about it and made Tristen reply, "Of course. I will be there."

The maid bowed and left while Damien decided to stay outside and see what Farah wanted with Tristen.

Tristen entered the tent while the maid stood outside.

"You missed me that much, eh?"

However, the moment he entered, an ethereal defense formation activated behind him, and he felt something being smacked onto his back before everything became dark for him.
