Nathasia clutched her chest as she saw that they had no plans in going away and might break open the door.

"Go away! You have no business barging in here!" Nathasia said with gritted teeth while hesitating to make a certain decision.

Brock scoffed and said, "Ma'am, we asked you politely. But now you are forcing our hand." He then turned to his subordinates and said, "You all, bring down this fucking door!"

"No!" Nathasia shouted and quickly looked around, wondering whether she should simply escape or take a heavy decision to escape with the bags as well.

She knew how hard it was to procure that money and supplies since it took her and Damien all these months, and there were many times where they almost got compromised because of it.

So she decided to take the hard decision and kneeled down on the floor as she placed her hand on the wooden floor.

*BANG!*

The door was being riddled with the kicks of multiple men, and it seemed like it might come down any moment.

But Nathasia closed her eyes shut and exerted all the energy she could, immediately extending the wood from the floor into sharp spikes.

These spikes suddenly emerged on the other side of the door, much to the surprise of Brock and the other men.

However, before they could even react, multiple spikes punctured through their bodies at multiple places, killing them all within just a few seconds.

Nathasia wiped the sweat off her temple as she slowly got up. She then took a deep breath and looked through the peephole only to see a bloody and gruesome sight of skewered men.

She grimaced and turned away her head. Even though she had done this before, this sight wasn't something she was still used to.

She then didn't waste any more time and quickly opened the window without any bars. The window was not big but was large enough for her to wiggle through it and jump down.

She took the two heavy duffel bags and pushed them out through the window as they fell on the ground with a thud.

She saw that the ground was not too far away, and she could jump without suffering any injuries.

However, she had no idea that a group of three vagabonds was having drinks on the outside of the inn when they suddenly saw these bags falling.

"Hey, Marty, check this out."

"Whoo, what do we have here?"

"Let me open it up right quick!"

The three crowded around the bag, and even the innkeeper, Timmy, noticed the sound, and through the transparent window, he saw the three vagabonds crowding around the two bags.

"Ah!!!"

But he got distracted by a woman's shout from above and rushed upwards, only to see a bloody scene of Brock and the others being skewered with spikes as blood continued to slowly drip.

The woman who screamed was another guest in the inn, and she fainted on the spot.

"Shit!" Timmy gulped and quickly rushed down to use his telephone.

Nathasia was having a hard time wiggling through the window, but she somehow put half of her body out and looked down.

She frowned when she saw three men opening up her bags and frantically tried to put her other leg out as well before jumping.

"Oh my god! This-s much money! And guns!"

"Is this a bag from the heavens?"

Nathasia jumped down, and like startled dogs, all three of them turned around to see a glowering Nathasia.

"Go away, and you won't get hurt. Those bags are mine," Nathasia said in a stiff tone while maintaining eye contact with all three. She also had her scarf on to not let anyone else identify her.

"Huhuhu, what do we have here?"

"A little birdy seems to have landed down, eh?"

Nathasia glanced around to see how many people were out in the night, and she saw a few walking down the streets while some were lying drunk on some benches.

But as she looked around, her gaze met with the innkeeper's, who was frantically speaking on the telephone.

"Oh no!" Nathasia became alarmed, and by the look on the innkeeper's face, she understood that he made her out and that she shouldn't stay here for much longer.

She already sent Damien an SOS through an SAT phone and was desperately wondering when he was going to get here.

She took out a knife from underneath her jacket and rushed towards the vagabonds seeing that they had no intention of going away.

"Whoa! She has a knife!"

Marty took out his knife from his belt while the other two rummaged through the bags for the guns. They were drunk, and so they were not thinking straight and felt that using the guns in the bag was much more effective to kill the woman and run away with the bags.

However, Nathasia was too fast against the drunk vagabonds and quickly sliced Marty's neck before he could even swing his arm at her.

As he fell down on the ground, the other two turned around with startled expressions and squeezed the trigger.

But their guns did not fire, and then they realized that the safety was on.

Still, before they could even switch off the safety, Nathasia had come too close and sliced their necks as they succumbed to the ground.

Nathasia quickly picked up the guns and put them in her duffel bag and didn't even turn around as she began to run towards a place where there were fewer people. But by now, she saw how people had begun to notice the commotion that just happened, and she could even hear the sound of faint sirens approaching from the distance.

"Shit! They can't be here this fast!"

However, suddenly she heard the sound of a jeep speeding from behind, which made her heart taut in tension.

"Get in quick!"

However, the sound of his familiar voice made her let out a sigh of relief as she smiled and got inside the jeep Damien was driving.
