Rise of The Anti God (Web Novel)chapter 233: an offering for the ethereal goddess

After sitting atop the marble-like stone made out of Blue Spirit Stones, Damien called out, "Luna, time to learn some dual cultivation."

A silhouette flashed out from Damien's body, and a young and mesmerizing girl floated in the air dressed in exquisite white clothes.

A whimsical smirk hung on her lips as she looked at Damien, who had a surprised look on his face as he said, "You finally recovered?"

Luna waved her hand, "Not fully but just enough to manifest my spirit body without any problems. But forget about that, and what happened to your bet regarding not having a harem?" She asked with a taunting smile.

Damien's expression became exasperated as he said, "Jeez, you still going on about that? How many times I have told you that it was not as if I planned it. At that moment, I just decided to do what I felt."

Luna scoffed, "Hmph, I knew you wouldn't last long with such a beauty like her throwing herself on you every day. A woman's beauty and brains are very dangerous weapons and are not something that can be underestimated. Without having any power of their own, they could bring down powerful men and make them do their bidding. Of course, exceptions are there, but in your case, you totally underestimated Valentina. She may act like an innocent girl, but she is way more intelligent than you think. Hmmm, I wonder what I should ask since I won the bet." Luna pinched her chin with a thoughtful expression as if she was thinking hard.

Damien raised his brows, "Hey, there is nothing to ask. We had a simple bet without any conditions. You should just be satisfied that you won and that satisfaction is your reward. Don't you like to get one over me?"

Luna pinched her lips, "Hmph, what a miser. How could you not give an ethereal goddess like myself an offering? If I feel good about your offering, I will bless you, and who knows, you might gain something from my blessings."

Luna pursed her lips, "You dare mock this goddess? Hmph, once I get back my true power, I will show you how just a simple snap from my fingers can make the whole universe tremble. At that time, you will grovel at my feet, hehe," She giggled impishly.

"Yea, right." Damien shook his head with an amused smile, hearing her smug words. However, he didn't know whether to doubt the fact that she could affect the whole universe with just a snap of her fingers.

'That would be too ridiculous,' Damien thought as he imagined Luna having such power. Even though it sounded like a far-fetched bluff of a child, in Luna's case, he knew she doesn't brag without reason.

It was as if every word she said carried complete confidence that stemmed from her own bones.

Damien realized how laughable the conflicts and strength of mortals seemed to gods. From the perspective of gods, a bloody and dreadful war between mortals might seem like ants squabbling with each other.

A question suddenly popped in his mind as he asked, "Luna, do gods fight? And if they do, what happens?"

Luna tilted her head, "Huh? Fight? I haven't fought anyone worthy enough for me to remember. I think that's why I was very bored and created planets and mortals. I just wanted to pass some time instead of meditating and resonating with the laws that hold together the universe. I even planned to create demi-gods and other gods less powerful than me. And maybe I did create them, but I must have lost those memories."

'What the hell...is she truly an omnipotent being?' Damien was astonished to know that she could basically create anything since, so far, he even had a hard time realizing that she was the creator of life and humans just because she was bored.

Luna shrugged her shoulders and said nonchalantly, "What's the big deal? It's not like I can create a being as powerful as me. As long as they are weaker than me, it's possible using my true powers."

She continued with a puffed-up smile, "Are you now thinking of fawning over this goddess?"

Before Damien could retort, she went on as she waved her hands with a petulant expression, "It's too late now, hmph. You should have given me an offering for losing the bet."

Damien let out a mirthful chuckle seeing a goddess like her behaving like a little girl. He let out a helpless sigh as he said, "Fine. I will give you a handmade souvenir though I don't know if a goddess like you would be interested in such mundane things."

Luna squinted her eyes, "Well, it's not as if you can give me things that are beneficial for me even if you wanted. So, as a big-hearted goddess, I can forgive you no matter how mundane your offering is."

It was true that there was nothing Damien could possibly offer that Luna could make use of, but she was slightly interested in hearing that it was a handmade one.

window.pubfuturetag = window.pubfuturetag || [];window.pubfuturetag.push({unit: "663633fa8ebf7442f0652b33", id: "pf-8817-1"})She had seen Damien tinkering around and making some accessories before and wondered which one he was going to offer her.

Damien knew that she didn't really want any offering from him but just wanted to have the satisfaction of winning the bet.

Damien had a hobby of crafting jewelry as he used to make handmade ones for Sofie to make her happy in his previous life. And in this life as well he started to make some to give it to Lily and Valentina.

However, he was a perfectionist and would keep trying different designs till he felt that it would suit his lovers.

He had already crafted some ladies' accessories during his free time and thought that one of them would surely suit Luna.

He took out a pendant necklace that featured an exquisite pear-shaped diamond attached to a smaller round diamond while the chain of the pendant seemed to be made out of white gold.

Luna's eyes sparkled, seeing how beautiful and exquisite the silvery diamond pendant looked.

As she had never worn any jewelry in her life, seeing the beautiful necklace in Damien's hand, she was quite fascinated to try wearing it. She always used to wonder why mortal women were so crazy about wearing such things.

But seeing Damien offer her such a beautiful pendant that seemed to suit her, she suddenly felt a feeling to put it around her neck.

Her hands already moved inadvertently towards the pendant with her eyes glued to it. She never thought that she would find jewelry of her liking, but surprisingly there was one before her.

She wondered if Damien made this necklace when she was sleeping. Otherwise, she surely would have taken an interest in it before.

But suddenly, the pendant disappeared from Damien's hand, making Luna look at Damien with a puzzled face.

Damien smiled as he said, "On second thought, I will offer you that necklace after you grow up...well...physically. It will suit you more at that time as that necklace is for a young lady and not for a little girl, hehe."

Luna puffed up her cheeks as she pressed her fists against her waists, "You tricked me! Not fair. I want it now. Hmph, age for this goddess is just a number and means nothing, for my life has no beginning or end."

Damien softly laughed, "I know, but what to do? You don't look like a young lady, no matter how old you really are. And as the crafter of the pendant, I can decide when to give it to you. Also, if you steal it from my soul space, then it won't count as an offering. Trust me. Even you will think it would suit you better after you gain some height."

Damien, for some reason, wanted to see her wear the necklace later in her older form.

Luna pursed her lips and turned away her head with a harrumph. However, she also thought it would be better to try it later.

"Well, I almost forgot why I even came here...Dual cultivation," Damien said with a grin.
