Ning felt his wings change and quickly looked at them.
The pitch black wing with no texture was now suddenly turned white as shards of glass just like Trenzelgor's wings appeared on his as well.
Except there were a lot fewer shards on his wings and nothing could be seen inside of them. His wings were also covered in silver chains.
The shards made no sound when he moved his wings and the chains didn't seem to obstruct their movement.
Ning ignored them for now and looked at the bunch of notifications that popped up in front of him with a dejected look on his face.
"Well, it's a 'Unique' class, so that's something right?" he thought. "Man, those Orange ones must've been the Legendary classes that Triple Shot told me about. If only I had received those."
Ning ignored that thought for now and focused on the class he had just received. He opened his player profile and saw the new class written in there.
[IMMORTAL ENEGRY:

The words 'Puppet of Fate' was written in bright purple color, denoting that he had a Unique class.
Ning clicked on the glowing words and a small panel appeared explaining the class. It had the same words as he heard when Trenzelgor gave him the class, but there were also some more explanations in there.
First of all, he realized that he got a total of 14 stats at every level, none of which was his to put in.
At every level, he got 3.2 STR, 4.3 INT, 2.2 VIT, 3.1 AGI, and 1.2 DEF.
Other than that, he got access to 1 more item he could equip, making it a total of 7.
He also was unrestricted to every weapon that was not a two-handed weapon and could learn up to 4 extra skills later on.
He wondered if it was just the Unique class that could do that, or if others could as well. If it was only Unique or Legendary that could do that, it would certainly be busted.
Once that was done, Ning finally checked on the 4 new skills he had acquired.
He opened up the skills page and looked at the first skill on the list which was also denoted as his main class skill.
[Deck of Infinite Fates - Main Class Skill
Type: Active
Level 1
Pick out a random card from the Deck of Infinite Fates, each of which has its own unique effects. You have some chance in picking out cards from Common to Legendary Rank.
The card will activate on its own in 1 minute if no action has been performed.
Chance to pick Common Cards: 82%
Chance to pick Uncommon Cards: 15%
Chance to pick Rare Cards: 3%
Chance to pick Unique Cards: 0%
Chance to Pick Legendary Cards: 0%
Manacost: 200 Mana
Cooldown: 2 Minutes starting after the card is activated or sacrificed.
]
Ning frowned a little as he read the description of the skill. 'This is totally luck based, isn't it? No wonder I got it. Just to suffer,' he thought.
'I don't even have a chance to summon the last two? What the hell?' he thought.
He looked at the next skill on the list, one of the 3 that was not the main class skill.
[Fate's Joker
Level 1:
Type: Active
-This skill can be used to sacrifice a card you pull from the Deck of Infinite Fates to grant yourself a random temporary buff or debuff that lasts for a specified time or until the Deck of Inifinite Fates cooldown is back online.
Each rank of card that you sacrifice has a certain chance to buff or debuff yourself. Buffs are also amped up based on the rank of the card you sacrifice.
Rank: Buff / Debuff
Common: 50% / 50%
Uncommon: 65% / 35%
Rare: 85% / 15%
Unique: 97% / 3%
Legendary: 100% / 0%
Manacost: 100 mana
]
That was a scary thing to do. Given his luck, he would certainly always gain the debuff. He would have to sacrifice Unique or Legendary cards to gain a proper chance at a buff.
'That title says my LUCK stat has no cap, so I must be able to improve it,' he thought. 'I can handle this.'
[Fate's Aid
Level 1
Type: Buff
This skill activates whenever you use a card from your Deck of Infinite Fates. Your chances for critical strikes and critical damage will improve depending on the rank of the card you pull.
Removes your ability to hit Critical attacks normally.
Rank : Critical Chance / Critical Damage
Common: 20% / 200%
Uncommon: 20% / 250%
Rare: 25% / 350%
Unique: 30% / 500%
Legendary: 40% / 750%
Buff lasts until the next card has been picked.
]
[Fate's Puppet
Level 1:
Type: Passive
Gain FATE stacks whenever you kill an enemy. Killing enemies with a higher level than yours give 2 stacks each. FATE stacks stack independently.
Each Fate stack increases your chance to summon a Unique card by 0.1%.
Each Fate stack increases your chance to summon a Legendary card by 0.01%.
Can have up to 100 Fate stacks at maximum.
Change in the chance of pulling a high-ranked card will be used up from Common cards only.
]
"That's… just 1% chance to summon a legendary, isn't it?" Ning thought. "Sigh those cards better be extremely worth it."
At least, he had a chance at all at summoning them.
"Although it does say level 1, so there must be a level 2 and maybe even a level 3 right? I wonder how I can get those," Ning thought.
He was starting to see some possibilities for the skills he had just received.
