Reincarnated as an Energy with a Systemchapter 1055: helping around

"How… how long will this fake moon last?" Ely asked.

"Forever?" Ning said. "It uses the sun's energy to work. Although I can also put a fusion reactor on it later if that turns out to be not as useful."

With a fake moon up in the sky to stop disasters from happening, Ning and Ely returned to their friends and families who were waiting for them.

"Master! Sister Ely, you're back," Blue was the first to speak.

"Brother, are you okay?" Jung-Hee asked.

"What is happening?" Saphandra asked. "The sky was black for a second and then a moon appeared out of nowhere. Are we in some sort of trouble?"

Ning smiled. "It's alright," he said. "I will explain everything later. For now, I need to go check on the demons."

"Oh right," Ely said. "I'll help you take care of the others too."

Ning nodded and let Ely go to some other part of the world to help them.

"Night, go check if the fires are still burning in Africa. Blue, go check the other side of the world and see if they still need some help."

After his orders, the two beasts flew away to go check on everything. Then, Ning flew to the cold regions of Russia where the demons were placed under a barrier.

He passed through the barrier easily and appeared in the sky for the demons to all see him.

The demons had thick skins and wings, so they weren't very cold, but the temperature was still uncomfortable for them.

"Can you guys understand me?" he asked, speaking a language he wasn't sure if the demons knew or not.

"Who are you?" one of the demons spoke in a language that he wasn't speaking at all. Ning quickly realized which language he needed to speak and the ring translated it for him.

"You have all been captured, and will likely never see the light of day again," he said.

The demons got angry as soon as they heard that. Some of them tried to attack Ning, but a single spell activation was enough to deter them all.

When they saw a Tier 10 skill being used, their mouth shut down like someone had glued them together.

"You have 2 choices," Ning said. "I will turn you all back to human, and then you will go live with the humans peacefully. Or I will give you this region for you to live in forever, without ever being able to leave it. What do you choose?"

The demons looked around at each other, none of whom could come up with a decision immediately.

"Don't worry, I have no intention to harm you," Ning said. "If I did, you would have all been dead by now. Instead, I just want to make sure you are not a threat to the humans that live on this planet. So, I'm giving you this choice."

"I will give you a week to come up with a decision. Talk amongst yourself, but don't you dare fight each other. I will be keeping an eye on you," Ning said. "I'll see you in a week."

He flew away from the place, leaving the demons in the terrible state they were in. He was hoping to turn them all into humans, which would require him to use mana to wash out all magicules from their system. After that, everything would revert back on its own.

Ning went back to see where they needed help, but most of the things that actually needed his help didn't really exist.

There was an entire group of humans who hadn't fought or done anything. So, he didn't really have to help much at all. He still helped out here and there, and after a day of helping, he and everyone else returned back to their house where his Grandmother and Uncle were waiting for them.

Seeing everyone alive and well, his grandmother couldn't help but cry in relief. His uncle got teary-eyed and started praising them and telling them how proud he was.

With everyone back, they could finally be relieved and have some free time.

Days slowly passed and they all hung around in that period of time. There was no work, no responsibility, nothing, so they simply stayed around, talking to each other.

Ning gave them the news that he had lost the system, and while they were all sad for him, they understood that he had to make that sacrifice to save them.

"Does that mean you will die now, master?" Night asked.

"What are you saying, Night?" Ning asked. "Even without the system, I'm still immortal, aren't I? My cultivation base is the highest of you all."

"Yes, but… you are killable now. Is that not bad?" Night asked.

"I mean… yes," Ning said. "But there isn't really anything in this world that can kill me. I can jump into the sun and that won't kill me, so I'm fine."

"Oh," Night said. "Then that's very good." He smiled a little, something that was almost impossible to see from Night.

"What do we do now?" Blue asked. "We don't have a connection to any other world right? So, we can't go to Anya and the rest."

"No," Ning said. "They are… they are living their own life now. We will live our own life."

"Okay…" Blue said. "But master, what do I do now? I thought you were going to help me find some True Dragons so I can be together too. Does this mean I won't get the chance?"

Ning hesitated a bit. "It's likely that you won't get such a chance anymore," he said. "I'm sorry."

Blue sighed a bit. "Does that mean I will have to get together with a human girl?" he asked.

"It's your choice," Ning said.

"I suppose that's my only choice," Blue said.

"Oh," Hi-Ah suddenly thought of something after hearing their talk. "Speaking of getting together with someone, since you guys have nothing to do anymore. Why don't you finally have a proper wedding?"

"A proper wedding?" Ning asked. He looked towards Ely who couldn't help but smile at the question.

"Sure," Ning said. "Once the world is back to normal, we will hold our wedding."
