"FUCK!! The prophecy said we had another week!" A man shouted at he slammed his hand on the desk upon reading the report.

He rubbed his frown before taking a deep breath to calm himself.

"Could this all really have been avoided?" He questioned.

"Josh, looks like this is it for us?" Said Steve as he stared ahead.

A large horde of zombies could be seen approaching the refugee, in the path ahead. Behind it was a large muscular zombie, it's body almost three times the size of a regular one, but it's head still as small.

"Ah, that's right… Josh went to sound the alarm… Guess it's just me…" Steve added, before grabbing all of the four grenades he had been carrying on himself.

"REQUESTING BACK UP!!!" He yelled out as loud as he could, attracting the attention of the other wall defenders.

After that, he pulled the pin before launching the grenades as far as he could towards the approaching horde only to begin firing off with his M4 Shortly after.

*DUDUDUDUDUDUDU*

"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

With each passing second the ominous feeling on Gray's chest would rise and further and further as the city drew closer to a battlefield.

Currently, he was in the main dome in search of the kids.

'Was it Axel's friends? My old classmates? No… With the injuries Aurora gave them, they should still be recovering somewhere.'

Gray leapt from building, to building before eventually coming to a stop at the top of the highest one as he received a notification.

[Quest Complete]

[Found the two children's mother.]

[Reward: Mystery Box has been received]

At that instant, a small black box digitalized on top of Gray's hand. It's texture felt real, way too real. The texture was smooth and the ribbon above it was felt like actual cloth.

Gray had many questions to ask about it, but he had bigger priorities on his mind. If the quest was completed then that must've meant that they found their mother.

Gray who stood on top of the tallest building, surveyed the area, looking at every minor detail. Not having any luck, at all. But something even more unexpected caught his eyes.

In the far distance, down at the floor, he could see a person puking out blood. Gray hadn't even realized how far his glowing yellow eyes could now see.

Nor was he given the opportunity to realize this as the person who had been puking suddenly attack leapt to attack the nearest person.

But it wasn't just him- There were more. All around the dome Gray could see people running around, lunging at others as they bit into their flesh.

His eyes widened.

His eyes diluted once he realized. These people were all infected with the zombie virus.

'Could the timing be any worst!?' He shouted inwardly

*Flash*

The lights suddenly went out inside of the dome. Everything became pitch-black.

"What's going on?!"

"WHO'S SICK IDEA OF A JOKE IS THIS?!"

The people began to panic as they struggled to leave the facilities, unaware of what was happening. Unlike Gray who could partially see, they couldn't see anything. The night moonless sky didn't help much either.

[Chronos Race have Night Vision. Halflings can only use half of the extent.]

"AHHHHH! HELP ME!!!"

"GET OFF OF ME!!! ARGH!!"

Shortly after the lights went off, the screams and cry for help began.

Gray's eyes continued to glow a bright yellow as they quickly adapted to the dark. From beneath him, he could see the infested people charge in, attacking those who had just come out of the facilities.

His sense of hearing had also improved drastically, hearing their cries of pain as they were unknowingly attacked and eaten, it was too much. Gray's heart had started to pound harder and harder, as he grew increasingly more nervous.

Did the zombies reach the dorms? Would Aurora be alright? What about the kids? Could they handle themselves?

During that moment, he prayed for a sign. Just one sign that could show him where they were. He closed his eyes focusing all of his new heightened senses into finding anything which could stand out.

It was then that it happened. It was faint, but he could feel it, there was a flow of wind, coming from the right.

Kylo had awakened a wind ability, it was slim but there was a possibility that it was him.

'Found-'

*RING* *RING* RING*

Out of nowhere an ear piercing alarm resounded across the entire dome as a red light began to flash around. Gray Grasped his ears, dropping to his knees as he was now much more sensitive to strong sounds..

The ringing was so loud that it disrupted the zombies, causing them to go into a frenzy as they began to attack one another.

Entrapped in a sphere of rotating razor sharp air, the three stood together. Lita and their mother held tightly onto Kylo who had blood flowing down his eyes as he pushed himself to go even further beyond.

Blood-curdling screams and growls could be heard all around them. Tears could be seen flowing down Lita and their mother's face as they tried to stop Kylo who had long reached his limits. But he kept going.

A bright glow of light enveloped their mothers hands, lighting up their sphere of wind. It seemed to be constantly healing Kylo's internal injuries allowing him to keep going. But at this point there was no telling how much longer he could last.

"Just wait…! Gray will come!! I know he will!!!" Kylo yelled out, whilst gritting his teeth.

The zombies outside would be instantly sliced up as they touched the sphere. It was working. It was working but Kylo's consciousness was slowly starting to fade.

The light from their mother's hand was also starting to dim. During those moments, Kylo's life flashed by his eyes.

He was even starting to hallucinate as he could see a pair of yellow glints move around outside the sphere in the dark at incredibly fast speeds. It almost resembled eyes from the way it looked.

That was the last thing he saw before his eyes rolled back as he collapsed.

The sphere of wind dispersed, as he shouted inwardly for him to get back up, before everyone died. But it was to no avail, just before his eyes shut, he was caught by a mysterious figure with glowing yellow eyes, in the darkness.
