Pause System: Harem In The Apocalypsechapter 155: 155: the dragon of thunder.

*KRRRRRRRRRR!*

Thunder claps resounded across the city, as the Dragon made of Thunder rampaged around, crashing from building to building in chase of it's prey.

It was currently in chase of a light-pink haired girl who could manipulate ice and a dark-pink, almost purple haired girl who could fly around and launch objects at it.

It was Aurora and Violet.

*ZBWOOOM!*

Another thunder clap resounded in the area as it crashed onto the roof of a broken down building, barely swelling the light-pink haired girl whole.

Fortunately, she barrel rolled just in time, allowing for her to avoid it.

Without stopping, she quickly began leaping up onto platforms of ice which she had manifested in front of her.

The rooftop collapsed, taking away any footing which she could have, but fortunately for her she was climbing up the platforms, one by one.

Looking down, her pupils dilated as the dragon came rising up from beneath with it's mouth fully opened.

Countless razor sharp looking teeth rested on it's jaws, but that wasn't what caught her attention.

What caught it was the figure of the young man who sat on it's forehead with his legs crossed.

Although he resembled a human, based on what he was wearing it was easy to tell that he was from another world.

Aurora didn't have much time to get a good look at it since it was just about to catch her with it's wide open mouth.

The closer it got, the harder her heart pounded.

With it's figure just inches away from her body, the young man seated on top of it smiled.

The dragon's mouth opened wide only to shut itself instantly after.

*Crunch!*

It chewed down on what it had eaten as if it had been starved of flesh, biting and biting down repeatedly.

The young man who rode on it's forehead looked to the right with an unamused look.

There the pink haired girl was, floating away at high speeds.

What the dragon was eating was not her but rather the platform which she had been standing on.

A mysterious force had gotten a hold of her, pulling her away right before the dragon could.

He looked to the left and could see the purple haired girl flying around with her arm stretched out towards the one he had just missed.

[Telekinesis: Flight.]

Seeing as how it wasn't chewing anything, the Dragon mouth swung upen.

An electric orb could be seen expanding and enlarging on the inside of it's mouth,

It was preparing a blast of some sorts.

This very same blast was directed right at the purple haired girl who was flying to his left.

She was much more troublesome to deal with because of that flight ability.

With the orb being almost three times the size of a regular person, the Dragon suddenly turned to her and directed the blast right at her.

[Thunder Manipulation: Roar Of The Thunder Dragon.]

Violet's eyes widened, her heart sank as her hair swayed back from the wind pressure.

A giant bolt of lightning had passed right by her, just barely missing her figure.

It was so fast she couldn't even react.

'The speed of Lightning...!' She thought to herself.

Despite having fired off the blast, the orb didn't fade away, instead another bolt was launched right at her.

*Swoosh!*

She raised her arms, instantly cancelling her momentum before propelling herself downwards with telekinesis.

[Lightning Manipulation: Roar Of The Thunder Dragon.]

*ZWOOM!*

This time the blast was much bigger than the previous one and was fired off like a beam.

Violet who had been descending at a fast rate had just barely avoided it.

To her surprise however, that wasn't the end of it, the beam kept going.

The Dragon began to angle it's head, moving it downwards in chase of Violet's figure and the beam followed after.

It was slowly gaining up at her with it's immense speeds.

*Swoom!*

It suddenly swung its head all the way down, the buildings in the area which were in its line of sight were all sliced cleanly in half as the beam passed down vertically through them.

The zombies or people which were unfortunate enough to get caught in the middle of it's attack, were too sliced cleanly.

Scorch marks could be seen in the area where the beam had cut.

It was truly like lightning.

A nervous smile could be seen on Violet's face as she had barely managed to avoid by listening to her gut, and propelling herself sideways right before it had made the move.

The orb on it's mouth had just about dispersed from it having exhausted it's last attack.

She glanced over at Aurora who had had eight lances of Ice formed in the around ahead of her.

"Aurora, now!" Violet yelled out.

Aurora thrust her arms forward towards the Lightning Dragon and the lances were propelled at it.

These lances weren't like the regular ones, crystals could be seen blooming all over them, it was so cold the air around it steamed from the contact.

It was slowly freezing the molecules in the air around it while it was propelled at the lightning dragon.

"Avoid it." Said The Kessho seated on it's forehead.

The dragon slithered it's way out of the path of the first four to avoid it, but the other four which followed after had predicted it's movement and propelled itself to its path.

"Destroy it." He commanded.

An orb of lightning instantaneously manifested instantaneously inside of it's mouth, getting ready to off another roar at the lances.

But to the Kessho's surprise, the bolt never fired.

He looked down and his eyes widened.

The inside of the Lightning Dragon's mouth spikes of ice expanded from within, freezing the orb of lightning in the process.

'When did she...?'

It happened right when the Dragon had bitten down on the platform which she had been standing on.

She had left countless ice crystals there just waiting for it's moment to expand and freeze whatever it came into contact with.

It had taken quite a while for it to take effect... After all it was Lightning or at least a replicate created by the Kessho's ability.

Regardless, the timing couldn't have been more perfect.

"Freeze..." Aurora muttered, her breath visible through the frosty cold air.

*Crackle* *Crackle*
