Vajarn's thoughts were clear and intense. The human World Emperor of the Violet Abyss Galactic Zone was wholeheartedly focused on securing Wei Wuyin's favor. As this made things easier, Wei Wuyin didn't decline any show of servitude such as that cultural-specific bow.
"World-Saint Neo-Dawn, if you would wait a few moments, I can establish an uninterrupted route into my Violet Abyss Galactic Zone. I can also arrange for a place to rest after your long travels." Vajarn's anxiety leaked within his tone despite trying to stay calm, as if terrified at the possibility that Wei Wuyin was the impatient and unreasonable sort. In his mind, the repeated words of 'unpredictable eccentric behavior', 'utmost caution and respect', and 'Transcendent Purity' circulated his mental image of Wei Wuyin's face as if trying to gauge his personality and warn himself to tread carefully.
"No issue. You settle anything you need to do. I still have things to tend to on my ship. Inform me when you're ready, Vajarn of South Hallis." Wei Wuyin calmly reassured as his Void Image dissipated like a candle blown out by a random gust of wind. The sight caused Vajarn's eyes to widen in shock.
°Transcendent Purity! A World-Saint with the Alchemic Stars of Transcendent Purity! That legendary stage of the Alchemic Dao. Vajarn, you must not screw this up!° After reminding himself once again, Vajarn hurriedly brought out a golden bell and began whispering into it. It faintly pulsed with a golden brilliance with the aura of spiritual energy.
Wei Wuyin hadn't physically left the Minor Elysium. Yue Songli seemed hungover as she leaned against him, pressing herself on him in ways that could stimulate any hot-blooded man, her curves accentuated, half burying his head in those alluring mountains of hers. Moreover, while she was a little out of it due to experiencing spatial sickness, the positioning of her body was most certainly purposeful.
"If you keep doing this, I'll be forced to skip our second step and immediately proceed with 'unity' right here," Wei Wuyin warned through mental transmission. After shaking her body slightly, smothering Wei Wuyin a little, she blushed an alluring bright red before slowly lifting herself and standing with some difficulty mostly on her own, only supported by Wei Wuyin's gentle hold on her elbow.
The rest of the crew took a while to settle and adjust. Su Mei was the first to shrug off the effects of spatial sickness and regain her sense of balance and spatial awareness. She coughed a few times before staring at the heart of the White Abyssal Galaxy, her pure black eyes shone with amazement and her facial expression revealed the faintest smile laced with a sense of adventure, discovery, and wonder.
Regardless of whether her duty in this mission was sightseeing or not, Su Mei was a mortal who had little experience with the vast world. The mere idea of traveling to another galaxy was unimaginable to her a few months ago. In fact, she was only recently thinking of venturing out into the greater world beyond the cage. Now, she was in an entirely different galaxy, beholding all its glory and uniqueness.
How could she not feel an array of incredible emotions?!
Slowly, after a full hour, they all adjusted themselves to be at least semi-functioning. Even Luo Ning who was below deck had awoken and come topside, her expression was a little embarrassed as she was unaware if anyone saw her sprawled out on the floor like a dead dog.
Wei Si slept through the entire thing and was only recently woken up by Wei Wuyin. Wei Wuyin thought that it must be a unique Spartan Resilience to resist any spatial sickness. He was impressed...
...for a short while, because after waking up, Wei Si blew chunks over the ship for several minutes. His heaving sounds were wretched and pitiful, as if he was throwing up his stomach and a half.
Wei Si hadn't slept through the entire thing! He was napping initially and was immediately rendered unconscious! Spartan Resilience was a lie! Wei Wuyin couldn't help but feel a little relief. He urged Qing Qiumu to assist Wei Si with his eyes, and she gently rubbed his back and gave him some verbal support. The hulking Spartan was having it the worst.
"Did we travel to the White Abyss Galaxy?" Ming Shufeng asked as she wiped the occasional saliva leaking from the side of her lips. The effects of her spatial sickness caused her mouth to become numb and she couldn't control her saliva production. The various ways spatial sickness manifested on the body were often sporadic and difficult to guess.
"Yeah," Wei Wuyin answered.
His casual answer caused her heart to ferociously pound. She was one of the few who was acutely aware that Yao Houyi and Su Mei piloted in circles or even away from the White Abyss Galaxy. How did they get here so swiftly? Was it really by a Void Portal?!
How much distance did they cover?! Trillions of miles?! MORE?!
Ming Shufeng's shock aside, Wei Wuyin gestured for Luo Ning to come closer. "Going forward, you're to be my Assistant. Keep your Alchemic Stars active at all times."
Luo Ning acknowledged with a firm nod, her eyes glinting excitedly, and her eyes immediately transformed. The Alchemic Stars of Spiritual Transcendence manifested diffusing the unfathomable aura of mysticism intermixed with alchemical and mortal energies. She had reached the second level of the Alchemic Stars!
Cao Cuifen's expression changed immediately. Luo Ning had reached that level already! She felt dispirited. Luo Ning was a pure Alchemist with an Alchemic Soul whereas she cultivated the typical path, leveraging her high cultivation base to meet the energy quality requirement for Mystic-rank alchemical products. Regardless of how hard she worked, it would be incredibly difficult for her to attain higher attainments in the Alchemic Dao without a correspondingly higher cultivation base. Not even Wei Wuyin was an exception. After all, he exposed his Alchemic Soul before the world and clarified the mystery of his stupendous feats to some degree.
Before she could wallow in her sinking emotions, she felt a strong hand in hers and found Wei Wuyin giving her a comforting smile. It was a simple touch and a simple smile, yet it lifted her from her feeling of descending into depression.
Right.
The Alchemic Dao had never been her earnest pursuit and had only been meant to survive in a harsh and cruel world in a brutal era, focusing on raising her nephew to the heights of protecting the Cao Clan legacy. She always wanted to be a cultivator with true strength but had greater alchemic talent than cultivation talent, unlike Cao Cao who had the opposite.
With Wei Wuyin here, she didn't need to pursue such a desperate path, and she could wholeheartedly focus on cultivating as her heart wills. This line of thought felt liberating to the heart and soul and she felt as if a mountain had unknowingly been lifted from her shoulders.
A simple gesture and a simple smile were the only things needed to remind her of that heaven-holding pillar.
Wei Wuyin brought Cao Cuifen with him alongside Yue Songli and the admiring Liu Suyin who kept impulsively rubbing her new necklace. "We haven't discussed this yet, but I'll be clear: All of you will refer to yourselves as my wives while on this trip," he announced as he glanced over at Qing Qiumu. Her emerald eyes watched the trio of gorgeous Ascended women at the side, and when Wei Wuyin looked over, she felt her heart skip a beat.
She didn't know what to do and opened her mouth without a word coming out.
"You too," Wei Wuyin stated firmly in a non-negotiable tone. Qing Qiumu's eyes widened slightly. She still didn't know what to do, but her heart was racing uncontrollably. Not daring to look at Wei Wuyin, she gazed at the heart of the White Abyss Galaxy.
"Okay...husband," Liu Suyin agreed shyly as she kept rubbing her necklace. The feeling of being a wife was strangely incredible.
"What about me?" Ming Shufeng asked.
"You'll be my personal Seer. If anyone questions your youth and cultivation base, simply say you're a temporary replacement while my main Heavenly Seer is on a mission somewhere else."
"Okay!" Ming Shufeng's eyes lit in jubilation. While this was a soft acknowledgment, this was still a step closer to receiving Wei Wuyin's full trust! While she might prefer to be a 'wife' too, this was sufficient to protect her in many ways. Who would want to offend a Worldly Saint Alchemist's personal Seer?
Unbeknownst to Ming Shufeng, Wei Wuyin had only spoken the truth.
There was no need to explain the Ascendants' identity. Young Master Shang pursed his lips, "Don't tell me I'll be a servant or subordinate?" Was he going to be relegated to such a status?
"Nope. You can do whatever you want," Wei Wuyin said indifferently. He didn't feel the desire to label Young Master Shang or order him about. If he wanted to be a servant, he could freely do so.
Young Master Shang was stunned. Just do whatever? What about his layer of protection? Wasn't that what this was for? If he was nobody, then he would have to fend for himself on this trip to a foreign galaxy.
"Fine. I'll just be your Brother-In-Law," he shamelessly announced.
Wei Wuyin ignored him and looked out at the outpost planet. A figure was waiting patiently with expectant eyes and a seething aura. Vajarn had completed whatever he needed to do and was ready to act as a proper guide for the Violet Abyss Galactic Zone.
The Minor Elysium, under Yao Houyi's control, flew over to Vajarn. The World Emperor had done away with his inky armor and wore violet robes with a yellow trim tied by a thick yellow belt. The robe had a slightly different design as there was a slit cut at the wrist and thighs, exposing what seemed to be a thin layer of yellow fabric that resembled nylon. It was tight and hugged the skin of his wrist, forearm, thigh, and knees.
The sight was a cultural awakening for the group.
Shui Fengbao was visibly taken aback. While it was difficult to assume that the World Emperor was a male given the strange cultivation methods of the world, the attire had a masculine design but the tight, thin fabric around his limbs, and what could be considered seductively exposing with tact, went against his limited knowledge. He meant little offense with his reaction; in fact, he was further intrigued by what they'd see in this new world now.
Moreover, one of the main creeds of the Ascendants was open-mindedness and acceptance of all beings equally. In that way, you can comfortably slaughter everyone without any hesitation or bias-equally. You can assist those weak without hesitancy. You can judge others by their actions and not their unchangeable reality of self, form, or existence.
These principles had long since been instilled into him, reinforced by the Neo-Dawn Visualization Method, and Shui Fengbao preferred this. Every Ascendant did.
Yao Houyi was already thinking of buying a few outfits with this design as he piloted the ship over to Vajarn's location.
"World-Saint Neo-Dawn," Vajarn bowed once again using that bow and raised fist. The Minor Elysium had its atmospheric layer and formations activated, including the Shroud of Laws once again, and he couldn't peer through without forcefully using an Ocular Spell with piercing properties. Since he didn't wish to offend Wei Wuyin, he didn't dare to do so.
A Void Image manifested beside Vajarn. He started as he didn't sense any fluctuations and his heart began to palpitate. Moreover, that ship had the aura of Laws surrounding it. This senior had to be a Sage at least!
"Tell me about the Violet Abyss Galactic Zone," Wei Wuyin said as he floated beside Vajarn.
"Yes! Of course, World-Saint Neo-Dawn!" Vajarn spouted some words before gesturing to the Minor Elysium, "I've already been permitted to take Spatial Road 10117, Spatial Road 3888, and Spatial Route 13. Please, follow me." Since Wei Wuyin wasn't allowing him aboard the vessel, he took the lead and flew in a predetermined route.
Wei Wuyin instantly realized that the space they were taking had been mildly marked by waves of subtle spatial energies. He was curious. It felt as if a road was paved for them. Yao Houyi could see it using one of the formations on Minor Elysium, and it activated almost instinctively toward the unique spatial fluctuations.
It was tunnel-shaped, and it could fit a large-sized Voidship with ease. He directed the Minor Elysium through.
Vajarn began to explain a few basic things about the Violet Abyss Galactic Zone, glossing over the unique spatial roads as if he expected them to know about it.
"Our Violet Abyss Galactic Zone has..." His words echoed through the Minor Elysium as everyone attentively listened, not daring to miss a single word about this new galaxy!
