My Wife is the Asura Empresschapter 300: angel's night valley

The ethereal beauty of Night Valley left Rio momentarily speechless. His eyes were filled with awe and wonder as he gazed upon the mesmerizing landscape, taking in all the tiny details that made this place truly enchanting.

As he looked into the distance, his eyes were drawn to the tiny pinpricks of light that twinkled like stars, painting the dark canvas of the valley with their luminous glow.

Fireflies danced gracefully through the air, their soft illumination weaving intricate patterns amidst the shadows.

Fluttering among the fireflies were ethereal, fairy-like beings, their delicate wings glinting with iridescence as they flitted from one glowing plant to another. The vegetation itself seemed to emanate a soft radiance, the leaves and flowers shimmering like glittering gems scattered across the landscape.

All of this was revealed to Rio through his [Heaven's Eyes], allowing him to take in the breathtaking beauty of the magical scene before him.

With a soft smile on his face, Rio wasted no time and shot off into the distance. He was resolute to enter the forest and farm the elusive black-stage beast as soon as possible, while he had the time until Lia woke up.

As Rio stepped into the heart of Angel's Night Valley, the mesmerizing beauty of the place unfolded before him in greater detail.

Swarms of fireflies flitted through the air, their tiny lights flickering like sparks from a heavenly forge. Sprites with delicate, translucent wings perched on tree branches, their playful giggle echoing softly through the glade.

He marveled at the sight, wondering if such a place could truly be a hunting ground. As he traveled further into the valley, his path was lined with flowers that sparkled like gemstones, their petals shimmering with an iridescent glow.

Deeper into the valley, the number of fireflies and elves only seemed to increase, the enchanted beings moving with a grace that belied their fragile appearance.

Although the scene was breathtaking, Rio couldn't find it helpful to his goal. No matter how far he went, he failed to come across any black-stage creature to hunt and gain black-stage stat points.

The absence of danger in such a breathtakingly magical place only served to heighten his caution, as he continued his search for black-stage beasts.

As he ventured deeper into the valley, he couldn't help but ask Eve, "When will I come across any black-stage beasts?"

"Don't get too antsy, Partner. Just be patient, and you'll find the black-stage beast soon. Remember, they're not lone wolves; they usually travel in groups," Eve's voice echoed in his mind as she reassured him with a lively tone.

As Rio continued his journey, he felt a refreshing energy permeating his body, revitalizing him with every step he took.

Unsure of the source but eager to keep exploring, he traveled at a faster pace. Soon, his sharp eyes spotted a group of flying creatures headed in a specific direction.

He became interested and started to move faster, eventually catching up to them. However, they seemed to pay him no mind.

As he trailed behind them, more beasts joined the group, flying towards the eastern side of Angel's Night Valley.

Their wings, seemingly made of transparent feathers, resembled those of butterflies, yet they were much larger, spanning about half a meter. Crowns adorned their heads, giving them a regal appearance, while their faces were like that of bees with a stinger.

Rio chose not to use [Heaven's Eyes] to inspect the creatures as he could already discern the black-stage straps on their bodies.

These majestic beings also exuded an aura markedly different from the other fairies and fireflies he had encountered so far, confirming their status as black-stage beasts.

He didn't feel curious about their destination, but he kept following the mesmerizing creatures, patiently waiting for the right time to strike.

Rio wasn't intimidated by the creatures, despite their ever-growing numbers. Yet, a nagging feeling deep within him alarmed him against attacking them. Nevertheless, his demands overpowered his instincts as he continued to follow the expanding swarm.

"I can't waste time for long, I need to take action," He muttered to himself.

Finally, he could no longer resist the urge to engage the beasts. He channeled the power of thunder, his body crackling with energy as he darted through the air like a bolt of lightning.

With a fluid, swift motion, Rio brought down his silver-bloom king sword upon the first creature, effortlessly severing its head.

As it dropped to the ground, viscous, glue-like blood oozed from the wound, pooling beneath its lifeless form.

The moment the body hit the ground, the other beasts froze in mid-air, and their attention suddenly riveted on the boy. Their eyes, piercing and fierce, locked onto him as they unleashed eerie, haunting howls that seemed to cry out for help.

Unperturbed by their chilling cries, Rio leaped into action, his sword sweeping through the air in a graceful yet deadly dance. Each fine movement brought the gleaming blade slicing through another creature.

The pungent scent of their glue-like blood filled the air as it spattered from the fresh wounds. With each beast he slaughtered, a cacophony of anguished shrieks echoed through the valley, their mournful wails fading into the night as their heads tumbled lifelessly to the ground.

Within a mere twenty seconds, Rio had eliminated over fifty of the beasts. A flurry of notifications appeared before his eyes, but before he could examine them, Eve's urgent voice echoed in his mind.

"Partner, you must absorb the cores of these beasts immediately! A much stronger threat is coming," she said with a sense of urgency in her voice, though not sounding scared.

Rio swiftly picked up the cores of the defeated beasts from the ground. They gleamed like black stones of tiny orbs, and as he held them in his hand, he could feel their coldness.
