The duo came to a sudden halt as their gaze fell upon the thick trees that were intertwined with each other, forming a wall that blocked their path.
"Why?" He asked in his thought as Rio saw the way to Monarch Beast was closed.
"I don't welcome strangers into my home, but since she's your woman, I allow her to enter. However, I cannot let her come where I reside." Eve's tone was stiff as she answered him.
"You are so moody." The boy sighed.
He turned to gaze at Nyla who was mesmerized by the beauty of this realm as she was staring at everything around her.
"Let's rest here tonight. We will continue our hunting tomorrow." Rio said to her, jolting her awake from her trance.
"Whoaa... What's this place?" The girl asked in awe, coming out of her daze state.
"It's a special spell given by the Elven monarch beast that I received after finishing the quest at the Laughing Alligator Forest." The boy responded and described the place in brief.
"But it's still day here." Nyla pointed out as the sun was gleaming in the sky.
However, before Rio could say anything the sun started moving towards the west and a moon came up above their head that started glimmering in the sky.
"Wow..." The girl was amazed as the day turned into night and instantly fulfilled their wish.
This place was a divine treasure that was given to Eve so she was in control of the day and night whenever she desired she could change it.
The Elven beauty was annoyed at Rio's action of not treating her well but she still cared about him as she made it a night on Nyla's one word.
"Thanks," Rio showed his gratitude towards that girl whose mood changed like the month of April.
The boy watched with amusement as Nyla skipped and twirled around, her magenta hair swishing behind her. She chased after the butterflies, giggling as they fluttered just out of her reach.
She ran towards the small stream of water, her eyes filled with wonder at the greenish-lime hue of the water. She reached out her hand to touch the water, feeling the coolness of it against her skin.
She then sat beside the stream, her legs dangling off the edge of the rocks. She took in the sights around her, the vibrant colors of the trees, the gentle rustling of the leaves, and the soft trickling of the water.
The boy couldn't help but smile at the sight of Nyla's pure joy and excitement.
Rio scanned the area, searching for the perfect spot to make a cozy bed for himself and Nyla. In the end, he settled on a spot beneath a majestic tree with a broad trunk and branches that extended outwards.
He unfurled his bedding and arranged it neatly on the ground that he took out from his wonderous forest realm that was stored in a different part of this space. He fluffed his pillow and placed it at the head of the bed.
The boy smiled as he watched Nyla run toward him, her magenta hair bouncing in the sunlight. She was like a little ball of energy, always so full of life and excitement.
As she reached him, she skidded to a stop, her eyes became bright at the sight of her husband setting up everything for the two of them.
He had set up a little picnic area under the shade of a large tree, with a blanket spread out on the ground and plates of food arranged neatly on top.
Nyla's eyes widened with delight as she saw the spread, and she eagerly plopped down next to him.
"This place is so beautiful Rio." She praised the wonderous forest realm as she sat beside him to eat.
The couple finished their meal after a long tiring adventure where they constantly hunted on the island and didn't get time to eat.
Rio prepared to sleep as he lay on the bed and held out his hand, signaling Nyla to join him.
Nyla settled herself comfortably beside him. Rio wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close. Their bodies fit together perfectly, like two puzzle pieces meant to be together.
As they snuggled together, their breaths synced up, rising and falling in unison. Rio's fingers brushed through Nyla's hair, softly tucking it behind her ear.
She smiled contentedly, feeling safe and loved in his embrace.
The warmth of their bodies mingled together, creating a cocoon of comfort as they lay intertwined under the blankets.
Nyla nuzzled into Rio's chest, feeling his heart beat strong and steady against her cheek. His arms tightened around her, pulling her closer as if he never wanted to let go.
With a deep sigh of ecstasy, Nyla nestled further into his embrace, feeling completely at peace. Rio's fingers traced patterns along her back, sending shivers of pleasure down her spine. She felt a rush of gratitude as she was sleeping in his warm hug, the girl loved him so deeply.
They drifted off to sleep, holding each other tightly and their hearts beating as one, the perfect complement to each other's souls.
The night in the wonderous forest realm was calm and peaceful, with only the sound of their gentle breathing filling the air.
The next day, they left the forest realm the same way but this time Rio learned how to use this spell on his own.
He just walked towards a tree and thought to go out of the wonderous forest realm, pulling Nyla alongside him.
Outside, it was already late in the morning, The sun shone through the leaves, creating a beautiful green and silver light that illuminated their path into the midst of the forest where they had previously escaped from.
"Hey Sweetie, how about we head over to the west side and see if we can find another special beast?" Nyla asked the boy as they had a whole new day to work to farm more battle points for their team ranking in the national military school tournament.
"We can go, but probably other teams may have already reached that area by now. They might have started their journey right after the sunrise." Rio said as he already saw that the battle points on leaderboards had started changing again.
"No worries But let's give it a try, okay?" The girl asked, summoning her white wolf mount with a lively smile.
The boy nodded and climbed on the Frosty mount along with her as they both traveled towards the western side of the island.
As they were traveling, a message sounded in their mind and a long text appeared right in front of their eyes which came from their second AI watch on their wrist, "Attention all students! This is an island-wide announcement to provide an update on the ongoing national military school tournament.
The special beasts of the East, West, and South have already been claimed by some of our talented students. As of now, fifteen students have been withdrawn from the island, out of a total of 983 students.
We have 29 days left for the national military school tournament to conclude. Keep up the good work and may the best school team win!"
As the announcement echoed in their minds, the Frosty mount abruptly halted, and a discernible sense of disappointment befell Nyla.
The declaration unequivocally implied that they had missed their chance to claim the next special beast situated on the western side.
Nevertheless, the duo had already claimed two of the three coveted beasts, with the additional task of solving intricate puzzles that would lead them to the remaining creatures.
Nyla's voice was filled with disappointment as she spoke to the boy, "Rio, we missed out on the special beast of the western side. Do you think we should try our luck with the one on the north side?" Despite her disappointment, her cheerful nature shone through.
"I don't think we can make it there before the other teams as we are very far from the northern side of the island. Rather we should try solving puzzles and find the next beast." The boy suggested.
"Okay, Let's check the first puzzle." The magenta-haired beauty spoke, commanding her second AI watch to open the details.

Nyla's face lit up with excitement and she exclaimed, "Oh, that sounds like a fun challenge! We should go and find the river's flow, Rio!"
"Yeah, we should retrace our steps back to where we discovered the Three-tail silver fox. I guess that river in the cavern should be connected to the one outside in the forest. We can start from there." Rio nodded in agreement and replied.
The girl commanded the Frosty mount to go in the direction of the southern mountain where they previously went for a second special beast.
