Rio took the remaining mask from her hand and studied it closely. It was made of a light material that felt comfortable against his skin. He could see why Nyla suggested this mask to tackle the Wind Slyph - it was both stylish and effective in covering their identities from those Wind Slyph.
"It's a good idea to keep our faces hidden, especially when two of the Seven silver sword families' children are together in a small but same team in this tournament." He nodded at her suggestion and put the purple masquerade mask on his face.
Nyla smiled brightly, relieved that Rio approved of her choice.
"I will faint, looking at your stylish look," The girl romantically said, as she saw him with the purple mask.
"Is there any other function for this second AI watches we got other then keeping track of our points?" Rio asked, looking at the second AI Device in his other wrist.
"Yeah, We can see our team's ranking. Didn't your class teacher explain it to you guys?" Nyla muttered, furrowing her brows.
Rio shook his head as teacher Milena didn't tell them anything about this information.
"Just say Leaderboard in your thought you will see it." The magenta-haired beauty suggested.
'Leaderboard.'

"Purple Lovebug?" Rio mumbled the name and looked at Nyla, his eyes were glaring at her as if asking why.
"Isn't that a cute name, Rio? I really like it." Nyla's voice was filled with exhilaration. The girl didn't think it was something bad and stood proudly to accept his compliment.
The boy sighed deeply, exhaling a long breath. He questioned, "What's this 'Hidden' in the leaderboard?"
"Some teams choose to conceal their battle points and team names," Nyla replied. The girl knew more than him since she had participated last year and also for the reason she had her own contacts being a child of the Seven silver sword family, unlike Rio who avoided his other family members like a plague.
"Why wouldn't others want to hide their battle points?" This question puzzled him although he guessed a slight answer to his own question.
"Because they want to show it off and intimidate other students to give up trying to chase higher ranking," Nyla murmured, the girl knew the mentality of these students and knew the exact answer.
"We need to hide ours," Rio suggested as he inspected the leaderboard screen to find the option for this function.
There was a [hide/show] option at the corner, he just commanded in his thought to hide, and 'Purple LoveBug' became Hidden on the leaderboard.'
"I hope, others wouldn't have noticed our names on the leaderboard." The boy said.
"Worry not Sweetie, they won't able to know which 'Hidden' is Purple LoveBug Since there is going to be more than one." Nyla lowered his concern pointing out to other 'Hidden' teams in the leaderboard.
"Other teams are fortunate enough to find high-ranking beasts, Here we are only coming across purple-stage beasts." The boy said, looking at their ranking which was behind many others.
"They might know the secret that only seven silver sword families know," Nyla Murmured.
"What secret?" He raised his brows.
"About hunting the Special beasts which are normally hidden on the different parts of the island. Although no one would dare to fight it without having the assistance of a few teams but going in the direction of these special beasts can lead you to encounter high-ranked beasts," Nyla explained.
"Do you know which direction?" He asked, considering she already had much useful information that was not told to them by Teacher Milena.
"It's simply based on the word, NEWS. Each side would be kept with a special beast, and finding each of their locations and killing them will reward you with a clue that will lead you to the next special beast.
There are three assigned clues for special beasts after you claim the first one in each direction. So if you can acquire one of these clues from each side, you will surely be able to find the other two.
But all these four sides are connected at the center and two directions share the same special beast for the last clue since there are only eleven." Nyla stated where they could find the high-ranked beast as this was the information that was only available for seven silver sword families.
With a slight tilt of her head, she turned her attention toward the bright light in the sky. The sun's position indicated that it was nearing the peak of its ascent, with its rays beating down upon the earth in full force.
A quick glance at the sun confirmed that it was almost two or three in the afternoon, She shielded her eyes from the intense glare and let out a soft sigh.
"Looking at the sun, it seems we are most like in the east of the island. We should go in this direction if we want to find the first special beast." Nyla pointed out their next destination where they needed to go.
Hearing her words, Rio carefully pondered over their plan of action in his mind, trying to think of most of the potential obstacles that might arise.
The boy said, "We need to act fast and retrieve the first clue from the eastern location before other teams arrive at the spot.
If we don't, there's a chance that a fight might break out to get the last hit on the special beast. In the worst-case scenario, they can steal our kill or even launch a surprise attack on us."
