MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmithchapter 767: four pillars: upgrades and requirements

"…Huh."

For a while, Valyr went silent, feeling a great amount of information inundate his mind for quite some time.

After processing and organizing the information, he then returned his attention to the notification screen at a slight loss for words.

After all, a great number of the notifications he had just received were something he wasn't expecting to see.

Then again, there were some he had already expected, such as the upgrade to [Forger of Epics].

With the requirement to obtain the title being to forge an Epic grade item in the first place, it went without saying that forging an item one grade above that would elicit a change in the title.

Of course, with the title now being related to Legendary grade items, the title now brought along a few bonuses that would help Valyr down the line.

Moving the opened notification screen to the side, Valyr went ahead and commanded the system to bring up the description of the upgraded title, wanting to acquaint himself with the changes brought about by the upgrade.

Unsurprisingly, the title upgrade gave the young man a whole host of information that supplemented what he had already gained from obtaining [Forger of Epics] back then.

Recalling the great amounts of information he had received earlier, Valyr took in a deep breath before shifting his attention towards the Supreme Blade of Primeval Flames.

Staring at the blade he had just forged, a hint of surprise appeared on his face as he noticed that his understanding of the weapon had grown a few notches deeper, such as how the various parts of the blade intermingled with one another.

Feeling that such knowledge would undoubtedly come in handy for his future forging endeavors, the young man soon returned his attention to the title's description screen, faintly smiling sometime later.

'From 5%, the title now increases the base stat of any equipment I forge by 8%,' thought Valyr to himself with a slight chuckle.

'On top of that, the time it takes for me to forge equipment has been reduced by a further 5%, totaling to 15%.'

Though such increments did not seem like much, Valyr already had great experience in having [Forger of Epics] and [Forger of Artifacts] do its magic during multiple forging sessions.

With that, he had no doubt that this title upgrade would bring great improvements to the items he forged from now on, whether it be the stats they had or the time it took for him to forge them.

'Not to mention the upgrade to Hammer of Beginnings,' muttered the young man to himself, continuing to read through the improvements to the title.

'With that happening as well, I'm sure the items I forge from this point onward seem like they're of a higher grade even if they're the same grade as the ones I forged in the past.'

Chuckling at the thought, he soon returned his focus on the title's description screen as he raised his eyebrow in slight interest.

From what was a small chance back when it was called [Forger of Epics], [Forger of Legends] now gave him a decent chance to awaken the potential of any equipment forged.

Though it was still up to luck and fate as to whether this part of the title would ever trigger during one of his forging sessions, the young man did not reject the idea of a free upgrade.

Then again, thanks to the upgrade, that wasn't the only chance-based perk of the title anymore.

Though, if he were to compare the two chance-based perks on which one was better, Valyr felt inclined to favor the second one.

After all, it had something to do with Legendary grade equipment.

> Increases the title holder's chances of success by 10% when forging Legendary grade equipment or higher

'Guess I now have greater assurance for when I upgrade the True Wyvern Armor set to Legendary grade,' said Valyr to himself inwardly with a slight smile, closing the screen sometime later.

Though he was more than confident in his blacksmithing abilities and the guide he was following, Valyr still kept in mind the fact that he had somewhat deviated from the original goal of the guide.

After all, the True Wyvern Armor set should be at Epic grade at the moment and not Epic+ grade.

On top of that, the skill [Descent of the True Wyvern] shouldn't have existed in the first place.

It was only through sheer coincidence and luck that he had brought his True Wyvern Armor set to this point.

So, why not give himself some more assurances that his armor would reach greater heights?

Sparing a glance at Nila, Valyr swiftly returned his attention to his notification screen after seeing that she was still busy.

"I guess Nila still needs a bit more time before the dagger is finished."

Faintly shrugging as he did not mind the wait, he soon took a closer look at the series of notifications he did not expect to obtain.

"The Hammer of Beginnings…"

Muttering these words to himself, Valyr went ahead and used [Superior Analysis] on his forging hammer to see what changes the evolution in grade brought.

Ding!

Unsurprisingly, the changes were more or less similar to what [Forger of Legends] gave, such as the increase in base stats to equipment forged with the hammer.

Seeing that the forging hammer now increased the base stats of equipment by 12% instead of 10% without having a skill activated, the young man faintly nodded in satisfaction before moving onto the skill portion of the artifact.

It was there that he noticed the greatest difference in the form of [Breath of Flame].

Ding!

<Innate Skill 1: Breath of Flame - Changes the affinity of the hammer to the Fire element, increasing the stats of any Fire-

attribute equipment forged with the hammer by 30%.

Has a small chance to imbue the Pseudo-Growth attribute into the item during forging. Effect stacks additively with the hammer's original effect.>

Though he had more or less expected the skill's stat boost to improve after the upgrade, the same could not be said for the additional effect the skill gained.

'Pseudo-Growth…' Valyr muttered to himself inwardly, feeling a slight urge to see the effect of the upgraded skill in action.

However, he quelled this slight urge for the meantime, instead looking at the item's description screen a bit further to see what else had changed during the upgrade.

After a while, he found what he was looking further, only to focus his attention on it with a wry smile.

"I had a feeling something like this was going to happen," said Valyr to himself with a sigh, the gears in his mind beginning to madly turn.

Ding!
