Wondering whether he was certain that he had seen a door behind one of the shelves, Valyr moved the spatial bracelet he had picked up to the side before slowly pushing the shelf blocking the peculiarity away.
Rumble…
"It's a bit heavy…" Looking at the items that were being displayed on the shelf he was pushing, Valyr felt a bit of confusion at the fact that it took a bit more effort to push the shelf that he initially expected.
Nevertheless, with a bit more elbow grease, he was able to slowly move the shelf out of the way to the point that he was able to confirm his suspicions.
"That's a door, alright."
Compared to the shelves and the exterior of the Enlightenment Material Cache, the door that appeared before Valyr appeared to be out of place.
For one, the door seemed to be made out of stone, judging from the color and texture of the material.
Aside from that, an exquisitely carved relief could be found on its center, which was being blocked by the shelf earlier.
Looking at the relief on its surface for a bit, Valyr went silent, wondering whether what he was looking at was truly a door or something else entirely.
At some point, the young man murmured to himself. "A unfinished sculpture?"
"But why would they hide it behind one of the shelves?"
"Ah, whatever." Letting out a faint sigh as he decided to push the matter aside for now, Valyr returned his attention to the spatial bracelet he had picked up, binding it to himself with the help of his mana.
Before taking a look at the space within the spatial bracelet, Valyr thought that even though he had picked it up in the deepest part of the Enlightenment Material Cache, a lot of time had still passed since then.
With that, he did not hold high hopes that the space within the spatial bracelet would be that large.
If the space within the bracelet was at least half or at least two-thirds as large as the bracelet he had bought from the Boundless Skill Pavilion, he would already be satisfied.
Yet, reality proved him otherwise.
"Holy shit…"
At the very moment he infused his mana to look at the space within his new spatial bracelet, Valyr was left at a complete loss for words at the sheer size that appeared before him.
After all, the space was not just larger than the one in the spatial bracelet he bought from the skill pavilion…
From what he could tell, the spatial bracelet contained a space at least 25 times larger than his previous one.
Coming to this realization, it took a while for the young man to come to terms with this fact, taking in a few deep breaths to regain his composure.
Then, even though the vacant space in the deepest part of the Enlightenment Material Cache wasn't that large…
The young man did not hesitate to transfer the items stored within his two spatial bracelets into his new spatial bracelet.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Leveraging his high stats, as well as his adept control over mana, Valyr emptied out both of his earlier spatial bracelets in about twenty minutes or so.
With that, he now had more than enough space in terms of spatial bracelets to store all of the rare items within the Enlightenment Material Cache.
Including the tons of space remaining within his newly obtained spatial bracelet.
Though, since there wasn't anyone else in the Gates of Enlightenment aside from him to take the items he sought to obtain, Valyr decided to return his attention back to the stone block.
"Is this really a door?" Pushing the shelf blocking the stone block away a bit more, Valyr then proceeded to move closer to the latter, tapping on its surface a few times.
"I'm seriously beginning to think that this is some intricate structure of some sort."
Whoosh!
Just as those words came out of the young man's mouth, an energy field began to emanate from the stone block, causing Valyr to quickly step back.
Looking at this energy field, Valyr's eyes swiftly widened in surprise, swiftly understanding what was about to happen.
"Only those who have an authority level of at least 10, or those who have officially been inducted as members of the Gates of Awakening are permitted to enter the area behind this door."
Hearing the monotonous voice that used to bar him from entering the Enlightenment Material Cache echo out from the stone block, Valyr began to smile after hearing the words spoken by the voice.
"Huh. Who knew that one of the requirements to be eligible to enter the Gates of Awakening would come in handy at a time like this?"
Letting out a faint chuckle at the thought, Valyr extended his arm towards the energy field without hesitation, allowing the faint blue light it emanated to do its thing.
"Verifying… member has not been inducted into the Gates of Awakening."
"Checking other conditions…"
"Verifying… authority has been verified to be beyond Level 10."
"Further verification has been done… authority has been verified to be Level 13."
"You are permitted to enter the depths of the Enlightenment Material Cache."
Rumble…
At the very moment the monotonous voice was finished talking, the stone block began to shake madly, prompting Valyr to wonder whether it would fall on him or not.
Then again, it did not take long for the answer to reveal itself as the stone block began to recede into the floor, revealing a passageway that the young man did not expect to see.
Seeing how the end of this passageway seemed quite dark, Valyr took in a deep breath as he conjured a small flame before heading in.
After walking through what looked to be a mundane corridor for what felt like an hour, the young man eventually arrived in front of a small space, the item at the center of the space swiftly attracting his attention.
After all, from how he had to go through multiple hoops just to get to this place, it went without saying that the item must be something far more valuable than even the items in the deepest parts of the material cache combined.
And so, he used his identification skill.
"[Superior Analysis]."
