Feeling a bit of joy at the fact that Wells decided to come along with him on his journey to Algerie Kingdom, Valyr said to him that they would have a lot of things to do tomorrow in preparation for their departure to the kingdom, though they would talk more about it after they got a good night's rest.

While the two were making their way to the living quarters, a thought popped up in Valyr's mind as he looked at the man beside him. "Now that I think about it, you're still Level 11, right?"

"Yeah?" Wells nodded in response, his expression that of curiosity.

"Do you have any unused XP you could use to increase your level?" Hearing the question Valyr had asked him, Wells swiftly shook his head as he replied that almost all of the XP he left unused all went towards upgrading the skills he had obtained as a Spear Scholar.

As he heard Wells' response, Valyr thought to himself that he should upgrade some of the skills he had to their limit, especially all of the skills he had gained after becoming a True Prodigious Blacksmith. After all, with 800,000 XP, it was more than enough for him to upgrade all of the forging skills he had to their max levels.

Aside from that, he was also curious as to how much his forged equipment would improve once he had maxed out his forging skills. Though, in actuality, the main reason why he thought about upgrading his forging skills was due to the fact most of his XP in upgrading skills went towards combat skills, even though his class was a variant of the Blacksmith class.

'If other blacksmiths found out my forging skills were still at Level 1 all this time, they would definitely think of me as a laughingstock.' With the thought in mind, Valyr thought about the place Arcenne had recommended to her back when he asked her if there was any place within the city where he could grind a ton of XP.

"You know, there's a place in the city where we could obtain a ton of XP." At the very moment the two of them arrived at the living quarters, Valyr said these words to Wells, piquing the latter's interest. "If you want, we could head there tomorrow so you could increase your level."

"Sure, why not?" Unsurprisingly, Wells agreed with Valyr's suggestion, telling the latter that he'll ask for the specifics after they woke up tomorrow.

With Wells heading to bed, Valyr then made his way to the bathroom and took a long shower, letting the water flowing down his body take away all of the stress that had built up throughout the entire day. At some point, he let out a satisfied sigh, his mind at ease since the City Quest he and Tryndall had obtained was finally done.

'Now that I think about it, I should send Arcenne a few messages regarding the five tomorrow.' Though he knew Arcenne would have already contacted her father regarding the appearance of the five and their connection to Valyr, the latter did tell her that he would tell her about it after everything was done.

'Should I inform Tryndall about it as well?' After coming to a decision regarding his chat with Arcenne, Valyr then thought about his friend Tryndall, the water flowing down his body allowing him to enter a deeper state of contemplation. Eventually, he decided on doing the same thing he was going to do for Arcenne. However, he would also ask Tryndall regarding his position in the Adventurer's Guild as well, considering the shock Braum and the other four felt when they found out his friend's identity.

Getting out of the shower after being in there for quite a while, Valyr dried himself off before quickly changing into a set of loose-fitting clothes. Heading to his bed, he then laid down on it before commanding the system to bring up the amount of unused XP he still had, as well as the list of skills he currently owned.

Ding! Ding!

As notification sounds resounded in his mind, two small screens appeared in his field of vision, allowing him to confirm that he indeed had over 800,000 XP to use wherever he wanted. Wondering if it would be better to just allocate the XP towards increasing his levels instead, Valyr reminded himself that all of his forging skills were at Level 1.

With that, as well as the thought of accompanying Wells to the Experience Pit tomorrow, Valyr allocated a great portion of his unused XP towards maxing out all of the forging skills in his skill list, feeling a bit of pain at the fact that he was about to use 80% of the unused XP he had in one go.

[Would you like to spend 84,452 XP to upgrade 'True Prodigious Equipment Creation' to Level 10?]

[Would you like to spend 84,452 XP to upgrade 'True Prodigious Equipment Modification to Level 10?]

[Would you like to spend 84,452 XP to upgrade 'True Prodigious Equipment Resonance' to Level 10?]

[Would you like to spend 84,452 XP to upgrade 'True Prodigious Forging Style' to Level 10?]

"Yes." Nevertheless, he continued to stick to his decision, tears welling up in his eyes as he had confirmed all of the prompts from the system, only for his mind to blank out soon after.

Within seconds, an influx of information far greater than anything he had experienced in the past entered his mind, rendering Valyr mute as it took a few minutes for him to regain control over his mind, organizing and processing all of the information he had just obtained as efficiently and as quickly as he could.

Inwardly letting out a sigh as he finished organizing all of the information, he made a mental note to himself to not upgrade multiple skills to max level in a row, especially in a situation where his vigilance was greatly needed.

'Then again, it could've been worse.' Valyr consoled himself soon after, slightly thankful of the fact that he wasn't allowed to evolve his Common grade skills to Uncommon grade until he had ascended to Rank 2. If that were the case, he would have probably stayed in a daze for far longer.

"Hmm… I still have over 100,000 XP left. Where should I use it?" After getting over the feeling of being bombarded by tons of information, Valyr then pondered over where he could use the remaining unused XP he had, finding out that he had more than enough to increase his level by one.

However, in the end, he decided to allocate the XP to upgrade some of his other skills to the max level, upgrading [Serpent Steps Movement Style], as well as the long-forgotten [Basic Spear Mastery] to Level 10.

Seeing that he had no other skill to allocate his remaining XP on after that, as well as the fact that the remaining XP he had was far from enough to increase his level, Valyr closed the two screens before him, closing his eyes not long after as he soon fell into a deep sleep.
