Rudra watched Thalion make his proclamation and could not help but cringe at the foolishness of the young elven god.

Sometimes Rudra genuinely wondered why there existed people who constantly overhyped themselves and lived in a bubble of their own delusion.

These people were not frogs inside a well, they were the frogs who constructed their own wells just so that they could be sheltered from the real world.

Yes, tier6 was a milestone achievement, anyone at that stage of power had earnt the right to be arrogant, but for someone at tier6 to be flexing in front of him just felt ridiculous to him.

Thankfully for him, Rudra could not interfere with small fries like him at the moment, otherwise he would make sure to play a game of cat and mouse with the god.

On the other hand Rudra was also enjoying Max's battle unfold.

Never before did he see large scale soul magic taking place the way he was witnessing it now.

His brother was onto something but he could not wrap his finger around as to what, since he had never seen or heard about such a move.

The souls of everyone that he had killed in the big fire attack were collected in one place as if waiting for their command to be resurrected.

" Is it necromancy magic? But it doesn't quite feel so- , this feels more like a work of a shaman " Rudra murmured as he studied the patterns of the soul barrier across the battlefield which looked like the barrier observed in safe-zones but slightly different.

To the naked eye this barrier was invisible but him with his omniscient eyes could see everything.

With a legion already destroyed, an insane harpy left to fight and a narcissistic god on his way to wreck lots of his soldiers, Max had his work cut out for him, but it definitely looked like despite the overwhelming situation he was cooking something special and Rudra was definitely enjoying the show.

( Max's POV )

As Tweety prepared to unleash her divine attack, Max tried his best to get her to keep her attention absolutely focused on him.

In all the countless battle experiences that he had training alongside his teachers in the time chamber there was one fact that Max learned which was very practical in real life.

It was almost impossible to blindside a god and sneak up on them undetected.

All god's had some or the other form of basic detection spell as a passive and could detect incoming enemy attacks before it hit them.

But if there was ever a time to sneak up on them, it had to be when they were preparing for a difficult attack and had all their focus on making the spell work.

This was the moment where their vigilance was at the lowest and when someone could sneak up on them till the nearest distance without being detected.

Despite his way of the wind, the few times when Kremeth was able to land an attack on him was always when Max would be hell focused on casting an attack spell, zeroing all his attention on hitting his target and ignoring all the other senses that his body was sending him.

This worked even better when he was enraged or his mindset was set to destroy his opponent which was precisely why he tried to provoke Tweety the best way he knew how to, so that the Harpy God could not detect his true plan till the very last second.

As she stood there gathering her divine essence, Max stood in front of her calm and poised as if he was ready to block whatever attack she would throw towards him while what was really happening was that the clone dressed as Commander Max Rajput was closing down on her from her blind-side.

The closer he got, the higher Max's anxiety got as he wondered on as to when Tweety would sense him coming.

If she did manage to detect him it would all be over, but for now it was the best plan that Max could come up with.

20 metres…17…15…

As the clone inched closer and closer, Max could swear he could hear both his hearts beat straight out of his chest, but he maintained a straight face with a crooked smile infront of the Harpy God trying to look as despicable as possible.

Goldmans sword in hand, The clone had used [ Elemental Transmutation ] to imbue the power of thunder within the blade for maximum damage output.

10 metres-

It was at the ten metre mark where Max saw the Harpy god's pupils dilate- , a moment that happened so fast in real life but appeared to happen in slow motion for him as he realised that she had detected the clone.

Tweety turned, ready to unleash her newly prepared attack at the man sneaking up on her when Max used [ Wind Constriction ] to create a strong cocoon of wind around her to foil her movements.

It was only a for a second that Tweety could not move under Max's well planned constriction, yet that one second was a second too long for the god who had already been sneaked on by the clone.

*Skadoosh*

The clone reduced the wind-resistance to the path of his blades swing to zero and activated [ 9 Ashura Sword Slice ] as he chopped off the Harpy god's head clean off her abomination of a body.

The thunder imbued over the sword helped slicing through her godly skin like a hot knife slicing through butter as by the time the Harpy God had realised what had just happened to her, she was sent to the afterlife.

-1,600,000 CRITICAL HIT!

Blood spluttered from her headless body as it fell towards the ground as Max and the clone made eye-contact and nodded towards each other in understanding.

The two of them had pulled off a hell of a strategic win here and managed to kill one of the six enemy legion commander god's.
