Once this letter was released publically there was an uproar on the universal forums regarding the choice of the warrior.
Very recently Max had made headlines on Radiance for his remarkable battle performance in killing a god, which was why almost everyone had written him off for the upcoming contest believing that he was at tier6 himself.
Naturally the netizens of Earth were overjoyed that their ' Golden Child ' was going to fight for their honour, while the humans on #H2050 were terrified once they learnt about his reputation.
" TOAST! Planet #H2050 is simply TOAST, Max gonna make short work of their boy- muahahaha, might as well surrender now! "
" How is someone so strong to kill a god in a one vs one battle at tier4? Is this a joke?"
" The humans on #H2047 are dumb, I think they forgot to read the system contract that we sent over, the requirements of the contract will prevent anyone above tier4 from signing it! "
( reply to user above )
" No you are dumb, the contract has already been signed and delivered "
" How is that possible? "
" I still believe Eden will win! I refuse to believe that there is anyone stronger than him at the same tier. I've personally witnessed his skills in Omega"
" Max might be Shakuni's brother, but Eden is his inheritor! No matter how impressive Max is, he can't hold a candle to his brother, the legendary warrior Shakuni The Terrifying ".
" Be prepared for an ugly defeat humans of #H2047, your golden boy is going to eat dirt "
( Reply to comment above )
" Our golden boy will eat dirt? Then your golden boy will be buried in the grave! "
" It's pointless to argue with the newly ascended humans of #H2050, they don't understand how high the sky really is "
A heated discussion ensued amongst the two sides on the forums, much like the last few days, however the preliminary betting on the various grey market sites revealed the true situation.
The odds were heavily skewed in Max's favour at the moment and showed him as a 3:1 favourite to win this battle.

( Meanwhile Eden )
Eden was not feeling very well when his opponent for the upcoming fight was revealed.
He had truly believed himself to be invincible under the skies at tier4, uptil the point where he read about the accomplishments of Max Rajput.
He knew his own limitations better than anyone, and understood that unlike Omega where every move that he learned was executed at [ Perfect ] proficiency, his combat prowess in Sigma was significantly nerfed.
His spells took much longer times to assimilate and did not have the same level of damage attached to them.
He did not have the same gear as he did back in Omega and with the use of potions banned in this upcoming fight, he had a very limited range of moves that could help him recover lost health if he made a slip-up.
But despite his personal situation, what rattled him the most was the battle-clip of a Max with deep purple eyes fighting against a god.
The overbearing aura and the level of spells he executed in the fight reminded him of the battle the Archangel Micheal had against Lucifer during the conclusion of his tutorial, a level that he could not hope to reach for at least a decade or two.
The one thing he had working for him was his Legacy skill, [ Situational Analysis ], while others believed that the most important part of Shakuni's legacy was his combat moves and extreme powers.
Eden knew that it was this skill that constituted the core of Shakuni's legacy.
Once Eden analysed the fighting style of any opponent, he could activate this legacy skill to find the best combat sequence and contingencies to give him the best odds of victory.
He walked into any battle with a planA, planB, planC ready for every possible battle sequence.
The reason why Shakuni was invincible was only partly because of his excellent combat skills, while a large reason of it was because he never walked into a battle unprepared.
Given enough time, Eden believed he could come up with a contingency to win against Max, however, it was going to be much more difficult than he had initially imagined.
Unfortunately for him however, little did he know that the battle footage he was examining was of an ancient god Angakok's fighting and not of Max himself.

( Meanwhile Max )
Max was enjoying the VIP treatment within the guild right now, as a room had been prepared for him to sit back and watch some of Rudra's old battle clips from his early days to try and attune Max to some of his attack patterns in preparation to fight Eden.
It was a good trip down memory lane for Max who remembered watching these same reels as a kid over and over again when he was obsessed with his brother's daily affairs.
To say that his brothers swordsmanship was ' Clean ' was an understatement, his brother was a complete butcher and unrivalled with his dual sword wielding as he was more of a devil than a human when he started to fight.
Max never got to spar with his brother after his reincarnation which made it impossible for him to show his brother how much he had improved, but fighting his inheritor was in a way a chance for him to prove his strength against his brother's skills.
A chance that Max quite relished.
