( On the streets of Dwargon )

The group wasn't exactly tired after a long day, but they had no intentions of going out for the day after the pleasing massage as they headed back towards the hotel on foot.

The massage was really good, however, it ended in an abrupt panic when some workers raised the alarm over the assassination of the receptionist.

Despite the early finish, everyone was rejuvenated and had a good time.

On the bright side, Sebastian sobered up enough to be in his senses and did not utter gibberish anymore but on the worse side him sobering up gave him a nasty hangover making him a little irritable.

" My head hurts boys, you both should have stopped me at the 10th bottle, I think I overdid it a bit …. " Sebastian said as he massaged his forehead

Uptil now, Max did not notice it explicitly but when Sebastian began massaging his head he noticed that in Dwargon where 9/10 travellers were dwarves, 2/10 of them were massaging their forehead similar to how Sebastian was.

" A culture of hard working drunk people " Max murmured as Severus with his super hearing heard it and nodded.

Dwarves were a simple race, they poured their soul into their work even at the cost of personal health and drank more alcohol than they drank water.

They did not have a culture of cheating on their significant other and the female dwarves were more proactive than the male ones in chasing their love.

Overall they were adorable and easy to get along with, which made Dwargon a relatively hospitable place.

" Boys look! A gambling joint! " Sebastian pointed as suddenly he seemed excited.

" Let's go and try our luck, 1 million gold coins each. Let's see which one of us walks out the richest! " Sebastian suggested as he was betting on himself to win this competition.

Initially Severus and Max wanted to retire to the hotel for the day, but seeing Sebastian so pumped up they decided to go along with this impromptu plan as well.

" I'm down " Max said as he glanced towards Severus to see his reaction.

While Severus was doing well for himself in life, he did not have piles of cash lying around like Sebastian and Max did and had to think thrice before spending large sums of money like 1 million gold coins on stupid experiences.

The only reason why Sebastian was rich was because he had raided Kremeth's supplies collected over the years just like Max which he slowly sold as he wanted money.

Without Kremeth's items, Sebastian's salary as the foreign minister did not allow him to live life in such a grand fashion.

Just as Max wondered if he should cover Severus for the event or not, Severus agreed amiably too giving Max a slight surprise as he thought Severus would surely tell the duo to carry on while he watched.

For now, Severus had not reported to Max about the 1.2 million gold that he had raided from the massage joint and he did not intend to report those funds either.

Since he had ruined his massage to obtain it, he was going to splurge it for his own satisfaction.

Hence, with all three boys agreeing to the bet the trio walked into the casino and encashed 1 million gold coins each in chips, causing a small stir within the establishment as every staff member and dealer took notice of the high rollers.

The casino chain they had entered was called " Jo-Jo's casino " it was a reputed casino chain run by corporate bigshots supported by the government instead of the mafia run establishments.

Having such a power structure made it very popular as while it was not a guarantee that you would walk out of mafia casinos with big money even if you won. It was sure that Jo-Jo's would cash you out irrespective of the amount you won.

Since the boys planned to go big or go home today, the choice of their impromptu establishment to gamble in was luckily the right one.

( Meanwhile Eden )

Eden was a human from planet #H2050 who had newly integrated with ' Sigma ' after completing the tutorial game 'Omega' and was one such prospect that many factions were looking to recruit.

Having integrated into Sigma as a tier4 player, Eden got a running start in the real world with his class and core abilities intact albeit at beginner's mastery.

While there were a total of 19 players from his planet who graduated the tutorial Omega as tier4, Eden had the most hype of them all because he was the only one to have graduated with the Legacy of the mythic player Shakuni Won Knight.

Apparently Shakuni's stint in Omega was so legendary that the Universal queen added his myth to the lore of the Omega world and his character in the future iterations of the tutorial had set hidden conditions for one to become his disciple.

Eden was the first player to have successfully been accepted as Shakuni's disciple and as a result of this accomplishment he rose like a phoenix in his iteration of the tutorial becoming a world renowned player.

Upon integrating with the wider universe Eden tried to look for his master in the real world, hoping to join his tutelage again and become someone important in the real world as well, however, upon probing about the God Shakuni he found out that he was already dead after a legendary battle against Thor and Lucifer.

Dejected, Eden met with the True Elites, hoping to join the organisation his master had created, however, the guildmaster Neatwit personally rejected his application to join the guild and called his character unsuitable for the family like guild.

Feeling angry and betrayed, Eden came to Dwargon where he was supposed to meet with some top organisations willing to recruit his services, but being an avid gambler he decided to try his luck in the casino before the meeting started.

Coincidentally, Eden was in the same casino as Max at the same time and had taken notice of the Vampire Lord who he had heard a lot about.
