" Why can't we leave for your impromptu trips in the afternoon? Why must you drag me out of bed every single time? Do you find some sadistic satisfaction in ruining my sleep?" Sebastian groaned as he was in a very bad mood for being dragged out of bed early in the morning.
" Oh stop whining, you sleep till 12 in the afternoon, that's not an appropriate time to wake up " Severus snapped back as he absolutely disapproved of Sebastian's habit to wake up late in the day.
" It's not my fault that I wake up late, I'd love to enjoy the cool breezy mornings of Dombivli, BUT SOME PEOPLE MAKE ME WORK TILL 6 in the morning, I'm not a vampire and I can't drink blood to replenish my energy like you guys, although I'm strong, I need 4-6 hours of beauty sleep" Sebastian said as he shouted at Max in the middle, reminding him of how overworked he was.
" Relax, my fellow coward, think of this trip as a much needed vacation, also we are headed for Dwargon! You love that place don't you?" Max said as he nudged Sebastian to treat this trip as a vacation rather than a work trip.
The office duties of Max were getting so ridiculous at this point that everyday he was thinking about new creative solutions to escaping his duty.
In the end, as soon as he had some breathing room, he decided to run with it and go on another recruitment trip with his trusty friends Sebastian and Severus.
This time his destination was the dwarf capital city of Dwargon as he wanted to recruit some talented blacksmithing firms to make his dream of transforming Geonmi planet a reality.
There was an abundance of raw materials on that planet, but no skilled labour to convert the raw materials to a proper product.
Max understood that to become competitive in the export world, the finished product would always fetch a better price than the raw products, which is why he was hoping to lure blacksmithing firms to his planet with the promise of supplying iron cheaply to them if they set up manufacturing plants within their home planet.
This way the firm's would end up making more money and Geonmi would become a skilled labour planet with competitive global exports.
It was a Win-Win for all parties involved which was why Max was confident in reaching the common ground to make the deal.
For these meetings, Max trusted Sebastian more than himself which is why he was mostly going to let Sebastian deal with this part himself as the foreign minister, as the real talent that Max had his eyes set on was a female dwarf by the name ' Lily ' that had recently reached the status of a ' Master ' alchemist.
This was quite the stir, because she was the first Master alchemist in the past 12 years which had not been nurtured by some existing alchemical organisation and had reached this status by herself.
Currently many famous alchemy houses and big organisations were swarming her with offers of recruitment and Max was willing to try his luck in the fray in hopes of pulling her to his side.
If he could return from Dwargon with both the blacksmithing and alchemical talents recruited, he would give the Bloodfall clan economy a booster shot in the arm that would bear results by the time of the next evaluation.
The reason why he brought Severus with him on this trip was because of the rumoured nature of the Alchemist Lily.
She was rumoured to be a clean freak and personally cleaned all her alchemic instruments even till this date.
Hoping sincerely that the two hygiene enthusiasts would have a fruitful conversation, Max decided to bring Severus the sweeper along.
Sebastian : I have a genuine question…. I want to know if we will do normal people stuff alongside our diplomatic visit during this trip!
Severus : What do you mean? I don't think we do abnormal stuff anyways.
Sebastian : I want to know if we will go to the pubs to drink, go to the redlight district for massages and go to fine-dine restaurants to eat.
The three boys are out alone after all, I think we should follow the motto of what happens in Dwargon stays in Dwargon and let loose a little.
Max : I absolutely second this proposal, if everything goes well, we should absolutely get drunk and celebrate, but no red-light district visits, as refined men we should call the octopus girls to our hotels, I've heard that they can hit 8 pressure points at once with their octopus arms and make one orgasm from the body massage alone.
Severus : Remember my god-daughter is going to marry you soon, your proposal of inviting foreign women to your room raises concerns for me…..
Max : ....
Sebastian : A GRAND BACHELOR'S TRIP THEN
Severus : Indeed, a grand bachelor's trip for sure, we should call octopus women and also fox girls.
Max : .....
Sebastian : While eating goblin soup
Severus : The girls must be shaved and clean though, I'm not going to have any sort of filth touch me.
Sebastian : We can also drink wine
Max : ...….
Severus : Do you think they have giants here?
Sebastian : Ho, ho, I never knew you liked the heavies.
Max : Why is this vacation becoming my bachelor's trip, when have I announced my official wedding date?
Severus : I will only permit debauchery if it's a bachelor's party.
Sebastian : Indeed, this occasion calls for mead instead of wine.
Max : A bachelor's party it is then! I don't think I'll get another chance after this so might as well make this count.
Sebastian: AWOOOOO! I forgive you for waking me up early then, let's finish all the work we have in the next day or two and party like hell after.
Max : But remember, what happens in Dwargon, stays in Dwargon or my to be wife will fleece me alive
Sebastian : Amen
Severus : Amen
