" Odin invaded the dragon's paradise with 450 million Valkyries by his side.
A fearsome force capable of neutralising every single dragon on the land, and with the dragon queen being the strongest and only tier 7 powerhouse inside the dungeon, the duty of saving the other dragons fell in her lap". Rhea said, as she narrated one of the darkest incidents of dragon history.
" It was a fierce battle with only 100,000 dragon's managing to slay over 120 million Valkyries including 7 Valkyrie god's, but eventually the dragon's were overwhelmed and defeated and the dragon queen bound in chains " Rhea said as her temper seemed to flare narrating the incident.
" Odin was haughty but also respectful, he spared the dragon queen's life out of fear of provoking a war with the dragon king if he dared to kill her, but demanded that she hand over her baby egg, however, the queen refused flatly.
Odin knew that the dragon's egg must be hidden somewhere inside the dungeon so he sent his forces scouring to find it.
History says by this point Odin had dropped his guard and did not suspect any more troubles inside the dragon's paradise, however, it was at this moment that Kremeth The Immortal led an army of primordial vampires, 300 million strong into the dungeon.
At the time the vampires were feuding with the Asgardians and this ambush was their chance to tip the scales of war for once and for all ". Rhea said as she eyed Kremeth, awaiting confirmation
Kremeth remained expressionless as he gestured for Rhea to continue
" The primordial vampires were a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
They had an extremely strong bloodline skill called blood manipulation and with the entire dungeon covered in the blood of over 120 million dead Valkyries and 100,000 dragon's the battlefield became their playground of destruction.
It should have been a close battle, 330 million Valkyries against 300 million primordial vampires but unfortunately it was not.
The vampires obliterated the Valkyries at a minimal loss of 10 million troops against a complete rout of the enemy forces.
It was said that the battle was so bloody and one-sided that the soil of the dungeon was dyed red with Valkyrie blood.
Hella, the first born daughter of Odin and his war general fell to the spear of Kremeth the immortal and her death drove Odin to uncontrollable rage and madness as the god of knowledge began tearing space itself destroying the dungeon and everything in it.
It was when Odin was at his weakest, exhausted after days of continuous battle that Kremeth the coward ambushed Odin as he fought a primordial vampire god and plunged his spear into Odin's eye causing Odin to go blind in one eye.
Odin should have died from that attack, as his HP bar should have hit 0 but due to some unknown treasure on his body he survived and managed to escape from the dungeon". Rhea said as Kremeth raised his hand and smiled, signalling her to stop.
" The last part is untrue, I never ambushed Odin, I fought him from the front with 5 god's by my side to restrain his four limbs". Kremeth said with a satisfied smile as Rhea felt her stomach churn listening to him.
" Anyways, while all the fighting went on the dragon queen's egg was accidentally destroyed in the war and this led to her being devastatingly sad, an event which led to the dragon king declaring war on both the primordial vampires and the Asgardians.
The sheer brutality and fierceness of the war reminded the universe of a recently forgotten chaos era and the name of Kremeth The Immortal and his Primordial Vampires resonated throughout.
The wonder race who could heal injuries by absorbing blood through their skin and use blood from the bodies of the dead as a weapon were an unstoppable force on the battlefield where millions lay dead and the entire universe trembled hearing their war prowess.
While the Valkyrie race was driven to near extinction because of the war, the primordial vampire race was outlawed by all the monarchs in the universe as a consequence of the war.
A hunt for the primordial vampires hence began and their weaker descendants who did not have the same ability of blood manipulation, the modern vampires were sheltered and bred.
Over the next thousand years, both the valkyrie race and the primordial vampire race were driven to extinction whereas Asgard was wiped off the face of the universe and with it Odin as well ". Rhea said as she wondered how she should phrase her next sentence.
" It was the last time that the universe saw either Kremeth or Odin but some say that they had one more battle which resulted in both of them dying, but well clearly that's untrue.
Thousands of years later, Odin's second born son slowly started to rise in power as he ascended from a mere tier 6 god to a tier 7 powerhouse and eventually managed to carve an empire of his own from the ashes of the one left by his father and that is the great thunder nation of today.
Thor Odinson never had an easy life with the dragon clan and the vampire clan both being his staunch enemies, but eventually after 3000 years of constant struggles and fights when he reached tier 8 power the pact between monarchies was signed and the thunder nation was left to its own devices.
Ironically, the dragon's paradise dungeon was sworn to be protected by the thunder nation as Thor gathered the mighty dwarves and constructed an impenetrable formation around the dungeon that did not allow any race except the dragon race to step a foot inside the dungeon should they be over tier 2.
A promise that remains unbroken to this day ". Rhea said
Max felt like little pieces of puzzle were finally starting to fall in place in his mind as he felt like he was on the cusp of understanding a very big picture, but it felt like some small key component was missing
A component that would fall in place when Kremeth revealed to him the reason behind this story being narrated today.
